Ordered SEP 202 never received product not can get anyone to reply to me

Just like other reviewers before me, I never received the product and customer service has not responded to my queries. I cannot recommend this company at all.

Terrible Company and Terrible Product.
I received my hitch about 3 years ago via the Kickstarter campaign after many delays and increases in shipping prices.
Within about a month of receiving the product, the main water bottle started leaking everywhere due to its mechanism. The bottle doesn't seal properly with the casing, meaning it will leak everywhere whenever you take a sip out of it. It was so dysfunctional that I had to throw away that part of the bottle.
The coffee mug was alright, but the rubber silicon collects stains very easily. The cap can also be a bit flimsy. It actually spilt coffee in my bag the other day, causing my iPad to become damaged.
Don't expect this product to last. The bottles will eventually leak if you even get the product

Is company even still in business?

I ordered my Hitch in early 2024 as a regular order, not as part of a “fund me campaign” but once they were in regular production. Product was due to arrive in March. Received an email in May, which was already two months past due date, stating there were production delays and my mug would arrive in 2-3 months. Received another email in September claiming production delays and another delay of 2-3 months.

Suddenly received a credit to my Visa card with no explanation and no email. No responses to any of my emails to customer service.

When I look at the website now, it shows all products are “out of stock” and no orders are being accepted. I think the company is out of business or close to failing.

I pledge for their indiegogo funding, but they will just send you lengthy emails that i'm sure you wouldn't even have time to read. I've sent them several follow-ups, but i was kept pushed to later batch until i never received my product. Shame on this

Scam. I pre-ordered in May, got 2 different emails talking about delays to my pre-order, and then an unprompted order cancellation email, but I haven't been refunded. Customer service has stopped responding and Shopify won't let me create a support request because "the order is cancelled".

Well, I wish I had read these before purchasing. I also thought, what a great idea, I hate carrying two bottles with everything else I carry. Except that it’s been 4 months since I placed my preorder. Originally expected to ship end of May. Two generic emails from the company stating they are back ordered, missing parts, please be patient. I’ve emailed 3 times and even contacted other people in the company to request a refund, at this point, to no avail. No acknowledgement, no response. Such a shame.

Total SCAM. Never got my order (ordered in January 2024), they don't reply to my emails, refuse to give me a refund. Will be filling a fraud report with the FTC.

I knew from the moment I saw this cup it was a scheme. My wife really wanted one so I bit it and ordered one for her birthday shocked to see it available on their website touting shipping out 24-48 hours after ordering. Here we are a week later no updates. I'm now learning of people who have been waiting months and years for this. Their website says you can cancel if the order hasn't shipped but the shipping is non refundable? Hah. Why? Nothing has shipped. They're making money off of every paid shipping charge. They need to refund everyone every cent. They are stealing! "Here buy this we won't tell you when or if it's shipping and you can't get your shipping funds back." ...never ship. Keep all the money OR never ship, angry customer gets a refund. Seller keeps shipping money. A SCAM. The bottle is garbage anyway. Obtained one from another company (they are obviously filling commercial stock first). This thing is heavy. I haven't weighed it but it feels 5lbs empty. Reviews talking about it breaking and leaking. I haven't gifted it yet. We shall see if it causes an $80 smile before it goes to the recycling bin.

Without doubt the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. If I could give it zero I would. After being told the delivery is two months longer than the originally stated date, no one answers any emails now. A shame because the bottles are great. (Had one previously which was lost).

The support does not help you, they did not even give me an order number, reached out on multiple occasions but I rarely hear back, we backed this project originally in 2020 and we have yet to recieve anything

Ordered 2 bottles and a carry cord on 2/11/24 was told items were preorder and would be available in March. Resupply or "drop" was supposed to be 3/15/2024 then got email in March stating delay until April. Then in April got notification delayed again. I spent over an $100 on this products and nothing to show for it. Now on the website it says that preorder is available for a drop on 6/30/24 but I still don't have my bottles from Feb 2024 preorder. This for sure is a scam and i contacted the company and they just sent me a generic message back to a link on their site that isn't helpful at all because it doesn't show actual status or shipment of your order. I wish i had checked Trustpilot and BBB reviews before ordering from this company.

I've sent another email requesting they ship me my stuff or refund me in next 14 days we'll see what happens but looks like I'll get the run around like everyone else writing above.

No response received to my 2nd email but my BBB report resulted in an email stating my order had been canceled and my card will be refunded so we’ll see if that happens

I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I was looking forward to receiving my new water bottle but after waiting for 2 months I’ve received the it will take an additional 2 months. What a shame, I was looking forward to it. Hopefully I’ll get my refund back without having to file a claim with my bank and report to the BBB.

In December 2020, I ordered the product on Indigogo. I never received it and was not refunded the money. Not even the shipping costs, although nothing was shipped. Nobody seems to be interested in all the emails and updates. The fact is: I paid and got nothing.
Scam!

I purchased two bottles with handles. After receiving and trying them out, I realized this product is nothing like advertised. Despite advertising as not bulky and portable, it’s extremely heavy and doesn’t fit in any of my cup holders. The add-on handles are also extremely inconvenient since they end up between the lid and bottle. Every time you take the cap off, the handle slides out of place and you have to push it down to put the cap back on. Therefore, overall it’s not really convenient to bring along anywhere. Since then, I’ve switched to an alternative that’s much better to use.

Funded them on kickstarter many years ago on one of their original campaigns. (can't even remember how long ago that's how much time has passed) Never received my two bottles and at this point I'm not expecting them anymore but if I can warn others to avoid and save your money then I'll try. Many similar complaints as mine and also noticed on social media (mainly instagram) posts were being locked and comments limited/deleted as almost every post would be filled with the same complaints and warnings to others. At this point would not be surprised if extra shipping fees were simply pocketed or mismanaged.

You will never get your order. Took my money and ignores my emails. I placed the order 4 years ago...

I ordered Hitch, and was initially given a resonable delivery time. A few days later I received a "sorry it will now be 30-45 days" until delivery, that was fine- it was a preorder and these things happen. I received yet another "oops, sorry- ANOTHER 30-45 DAYS" email. At this point, I feel like it is a scam. I have yet to recieve any follow up and after looking around I have yet to find ANYONE who has actually received their items who isn't an influencer. I will be filing a dispute with my bank and the BBB.

This company is an absolute joke.

They had years of delays on the kickstarter project, then made some changes to the bottle last minute that literally NOBODY liked without informing anyone beforehand. BTW I still think they use the old photos with the old design to advertise the bottles on their sites, at least they did for a year or two for sure. Talk about scummy.

They started selling the product for CHEAPER than the backers got them on their own website BEFORE fulfilling any orders. Some people waited for years for their bottles only to get a way too heavy water bottle with bad quality control.

But wait it gets worse. While they were selling for cheaper on their site + giving free international shipping on their site: We backers were asked to pay ADDITIONAL, yes ADDITIONAL shipping fees of something like 30$. What. The. Duck. So you can give free shipping on your site AND sell for cheaper, but you charge us backers 30$ on top of the shipping we already paid like a year prior.

Literal scams and shady people with a mediocre at best product. Stay clear.

As expected Hitch tried to remove my review by requesting my information, if not given Trustpilot removes the review. Talk about even more bad practice by the company. Makes you wonder how many fair reviews were removed by people that didn't notice the mail notification about this in time or couldn't be bothered sticking it to the man. I bet this company would have far worse rating if they didn't do this scummy review removal.

In their response to me they claimed what I said was wrong. You can check all backer information and all the reviews on Indiegogo and Kickstarter. All comments there will back up my claims exactly.

At some point I am pretty sure they offered free international shipping. Currently on their website you can see the price of the product and that they for sure offer free shipping in America at this very moment. They are just liars. And yes, I just checked, they still, years later, use the old pictures to advertise their products. It is directly misleading as major parts have been changed.

Update 2:
After their first attempt to remove my review: In which I gave them order number, e-mail and full name, they took it one step further.

They are perfectly aware that I am a legitimate customer because I already gave them information I would not have access to if I was not.

They sent another attempt at removing my comment by requesting further documentation of the purchase, which I of course will provide. It is obvious that they are just trying to silence my review and get it removed, not legitimately wondering if I got their product or not. This is so scummy. Don't ever deal with this shady company. Good reviews are probably paid.

In their second response they claim they "just wanted more information", but why then would they attempt to remove my review again when they have all the information to know I am being truthful from the first time they requested it?

If you at Hitch had done your job instead of being spiteful, and checked the backer number and e-mail I sent you; you would have seen that I did pay for the extra shipping to get the product, and I did. But that does not make what you have done any more moral or correct and less infuriating. What I received was an underwhelming bad quality, heavy product that struggles at keeping anything hot or cold. But even if your product was perfect your behavior is unprofessional and completely unacceptable. You do nothing but lie and anyone can figure that out with a quick search.
