Cars and bids is a great place to sell your vehicle. They make the process extremely easy.
I was able to get the price that I wanted for the vehicle. The post auction steps were also easy.

Very easy to buy my vehicle. Communication was great. I do wish there was an option to narrow down the type of vehicle youre looking for. More than just generic qualifiers.

I sold my car to a person accross the county with no issues. Every step was communicated clearly. I appreciate the folks at C&B for making the selling process easy.

However,
Purchasing a vehicle turned out to be terrible. I had the winning bid on a listing, but the seller refused to process the sale due to the bid amount. The post is still up 2 weeks later. A heavy fee should be placed on the seller that refuse to commit to the seller agreement. I was not offered compensation in the form of a waived bidding fee in the future or anything of the sort.

I will change my opinion/review if steps are taken to better the situation.

For a first-time online car buying experience, it was as seamless and secure as possible. The community around Cars And Bids inspires trust and I was happy to experience it.

The experience was great, good support and even if I got less than I expected I believe was a fair number and I am glad that the buyer was happy and communicated with me after he safely drove home from FL to NC.

That was probably the easiest selling experience I have had in my lifetime. Cars and Bids did an excellent job of communicating all the steps necessary for the successful sale of my 1971 Datsun 240z. I would definitely recommend selling your classic or exotic car with Cars and Bids!

Communication was quick and easy, and it pushed my auction to a true enthusiast market that knew the value of my car and was willing to pay what they thought it was worth! That excited me and earned me a sale with less stress and a higher selling value quicker than any other platform would have allowed me to achieve. I was nervous about a no reserve auction, but it paid off greatly in the end.

I set a reasonable reserve, and remained engaged with bidders and prospective bidders the whole time, answering all questions and providing additional photos and videos on request. My car sold for $5,000 above my reserve price. I'm very happy with my Cars and Bids experience.

Fast, easy, transparent process from start to finish, and the results were great!

I won an auction on a Friday afternoon pst and spoke briefly to the seller located in a different state both Friday and Saturday and was busy Sunday. By Monday my account had been locked and I had no ability to communicate with the seller or read messages sent to me by cars and bids. I complained and demanded my buyer fee refunded as per their site it lists buyers have a week to compete the transaction.

Cars & Bids is well-run. Great photos, and I love "Doug's Take" on each car. Public commenting is very good, and great that you have the option to contact the seller privately. The post-auction follow up is great, frequently checking in to make sure the transaction is going smoothly - you don't feel abandoned once the fee is collected. The only change I would make is to have the fee split 50/50 by the seller and buyer.
