Well what can I say about car seekers ..
Nothing but great things 💪
Was contacted by Jordan over a bit interest I had after trying other company’s with no joy & it didn’t even take 24 hours for him to not only get me accepted on a car but to source me the car I wanted for a very long time & my oh my it is a cracker 👌
From start to finish ( although I was eager to get it quick ) these guys make sure your car is coming when it’s ready , checked & in top notch condition so when it arrived it was absolutely mint so thank you guys & sorry if I was a bit impatient 🤣
Also I’d like to thank glen a total gem of a guy for bringing the car all the way to Scotland for me your a legend mate & I can’t thank you enough , a great driver for the company who clearly enjoys what he does , I hope your journey home wasn’t to stressful bud .

Avoiding issues with car
After purchasing my car through Car Seekers, I noticed several scratches and reported them the following day, providing photos. I was told they would review the issue and see what could be done.
About a month later, while cleaning the car with a jet washer (from a safe distance), I noticed the paint beginning to peel. This clearly shouldn’t happen on a 2020 Audi, so I contacted them again and sent photos. They acknowledged the issue and said they would arrange to have it sorted. After a few more washes, additional paint began peeling on the rear bumper, which I also documented and reported.
After several attempts to arrange a date—some cancelled by them and some by me—we finally agreed on a day. I then drove two hours to have the paintwork looked at. However, upon arrival I was told that the damage was my fault due to “washing the car incorrectly,” and that they would not carry out any work that day. Instead, they said they would review previous messages and get back to me to confirm whether they would still resolve the issue, despite earlier messages clearly stating that it would be sorted.
Since then, I have not received any follow-up communication.
This has been a very disappointing experience. I would have expected better support and clearer communication, especially when there is written evidence acknowledging the issue. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return and would advise others to proceed with caution.
AVOID: Ignored my complaints then blamed my "driving style" for their faulty car!
I have never experienced such appalling 'after-sales' service. After sourcing a vehicle through Car Seekers Ltd, I discovered significant issues. I tried to contact them repeatedly, but they completely ignored my messages and calls for 5 weeks.
When they finally bothered to reply, their response was insulting: they claimed the mechanical issues were down to my 'driving style.' This is despite an IVIS report clearly stating that the vehicle was likely sold with these pre-existing issues.
They are happy to take your money and promise a 'bespoke service,' but as soon as the car shows it’s not fit for purpose, they go silent or point the finger at the customer. I’ve had to find my own independent, VAT-registered garages just to prove what the IVIS report already told them. If you want a company that takes responsibility, look elsewhere. These people are experts at dodging accountability.
Finance company is now trying to fix the car with cheap garages. Vehicle was 2021 Defender and I'm not willing to take it to dodgy garage that they can save money. I have submitted my compliant to Financial Ombudsman Service now.
Don’t bother
I agreed to take my original review down given the fact they agreed to repair the van. But given the fact I’ve had it back 4 weeks and it’s now broken down for a 4th time this one will be staying up.
Bought the van at the end of August in good faith after hearing nothing but fantastic things about this company, turns out they do not care about their customers and have absolutely appalling customer service skills, especially Nathan, ought to hang his head in shame after the way he tried to speak to me.
Only one day after taking the van home I mentioned an oil leak around one of the injectors, slight engine temp fluctuation, and breaks screeching quite hard, and the tracking still out (this was agreed to be looked/sorted after test driving the van as I spotted it straight away) Agreed to drop the van off while I went on holiday for around 10 days. Picked the van up when I got back, nothing done with the brakes, tracking still out, checked on the oil leak a few days later and still there.
Fast forward to October, I was setting off to work one day and noticed the temp light flashing red. Messaged the salesman who choose to ignore my message which prompted me to write my initial 1 star review. They had the van in and diagnosed an oil cooler seal and agreed to replace the brakes, I also mentioned the tracking for a third time and was again agreed to be looked at. Nathan (one of the owners) rang me and we had a conversation about what was going to be done. He tried to blame the tracking on myself for swapping the wheels to a slightly bigger diameter. I said to him that the tracking was out when I first test drove the van and has nothing to do with the alloys what so ever. None the less they fixed the leak and did the brakes so I left it there.
Only TWO days after having the van back again. The glow plug light was flashing, EML on dash and van in limp mode. Took the van back for the 3rd time and it was diagnosed with a faulty injector. Nathan voice messaged me off of his personal number and agreed to do me all 4 injectors and provide a 2 year warranty and also “wanted to talk to me about my bad review”. I said to him I will be fair once again and take the review down given he was fixing the fault and putting it all to bed.
I’ve now covered approx 500/600 miles since having the injectors replaced and the exact same fault has come back again. I limped the van back to wombwell (would not go over 15/20mph) and messaged Nathan saying I did not want the van anymore. His response was he couldn’t do anything until the 5th of January. He then tried fobbing off YET AGAIN saying it was “to do with it being cold outside” and told me “Move it and we will deal with it on the 5th👍🏻”
I went back into the store on 27/12/2025 and handed the keys in as I have chose to reject the van for a refund. I’m now stuck without a means to get to work and have the wait until the new year to get my money back for something which has done nothing but failed me. I have only covered around 2,000mi in the van since owning (bought end of August) and Car Seekers have had it for the best of 4 weeks “fixing it”
I strongly advise you working on your customer service skills and arrogance towards your customers who hand over hard earned money. I expect my money to be back in my bank before you “deal with it on the 5th👍🏻”

The dealer is not trustworthy in the…
The dealer is not trustworthy in the slightest - had taken over a 6 months to settle finance on one of my vans, then a further 3 months to align payment to my finance agreement meaning I’ve over paid and fighting for over £1500 back from the finance company, and now both directors have suddenly contracted amnesia to the conversation as to what I would be paid for the vans and are trying to force a far lower price on me, the directors (especially Dan) do not communicate, I have had to drive down over a half a dozen times to try and sort it out. They are conmen - my dealings with them have been going on nearly 14 months now and I rue the day I ever decided to use them. Buyer and seller beware alike.

I bought a Nissan van and had constant problems from day one. After a long back-and-forth, I eventually received a refund around three months ago. As requested by Dan Whitehead, I even removed all my reviews at the time.
Now, months later, I’ve received a letter saying the van is still showing as uninsured because the logbook was never properly transferred, even though I handed it in and was told it would all be sorted in the office. Clearly, the paperwork was never done.
Very poor organisation and communication. I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.
It’s unfortunate it has come to this…
It’s unfortunate it has come to this where I’ve had to leave a review in hopes that they will return my refund that I feel I’m rightfully owed. I have been lied to and pushed aside all because they want to be money grabbing and not do the moral thing of refunding my deposit.
They said they took the car off sale once I put a deposit down on which was a lie ( and have date time stamp evidence of this )and said the only way to possibly get a refund is by going all the way their to view the car and say I’m not happy with it - clear as day sales tactic . It started off a really good, positive experience and due to circumstances out of my control I was no longer able to go ahead with the purchase of one of their vehicles and instead of being understanding of the situation they have just avoided it and not refunded me for the deposit I put down - I think it’s quite telling of their true nature
Would recommend if looking for a van
We purchased a van from Dan and despite me initially being concerned as have used the same company for years we were not disappointed. Dan kept us up to date at each stage and ensured everything was in place for a smooth collection. Nothing has been too much and any questions Dan has been very responsive. We would def recommend after our experience.
Don’t have this business buy your car…
Don’t have this business buy your car off Autotrader auction between them 2 companies they agree a price on a car with stated damages an when they come to collect the vehicle they say they’ve not received the damaged photos an Autotrader state that they put them on the advert so that way they can knock more money off your car.
Very disappointing experience
Where to start?
We found a van we liked and agreed a submitted the finance application, we were contacted by the salesman to say sorry the VAT was missed off so price went up, it was still within budget so we agreed on the new price as the van was perfect for us. Paperwork arrived and the monthly fee had gone up by £15, without warning or explanation, when questioned as to why, the response was the admin fee was missed off and something else meaning it was more, no real explanation he just hoped we either wouldn’t notice or wouldn’t complain. He attempted to change the payments, after we complained, by trying other finance companies with no luck so now after 3 finance applications, worry about damaging our credit file and much discussion on our end we reluctantly agreed to proceed with the new, once again, increased price.
We collected the van and you’d think drama over but after 2 days the van developed a series issue with the ad blue system and whilst trying to resolve this a severe fuel leak in the engine bay meaning the van is unusable and unsafe to even start. We’ve had the van a month it’s been to a garage 3 times had mobile mechanic out and we’re still waiting on a resolution. It took a month to get the spare key after 6 calls to 2 different employees constantly promising it had been sent, we still haven’t received the log book which hasn’t been processed after a month, we’re struggling to get reimbursed for our expenses in trying to get the van repaired and they the jury is out on whether they are going to pay for the rental van we’ve had to source as they were unable to supply a replacement vehicle
So short version end up paying more for the van than originally agreed, the van is broken and not drivable and after a month we’re still chasing a solution. Communication is slow, solutions hard to come by, promises are broken and excuses plentiful.
All we want is a van that works which isn’t too much to ask we feel very much let down by this company.
Absolutely ridiculous company!
Absolutely ridiculous company!! Purchased a van from these in September 2024 and 2 months later the clutch was going. Contacted them every week and got the same old response that “it will get sorted” or “I’ve been out the office”. Now in July and the clutch has completely gone on the Van! This needs sorting ASAP. We are going to the ombudsman if it isn’t.
F Do not buy a vehicle from these…
F Do not buy a vehicle from these people they lie and are not concerned with your issues once they have your money, the people they use to do there work is very poor. Was recommended to this company from a friend, initial chats with mat the sales were good he found the car I wanted, when I went to look and test drive it it was scruffy and asked Matt to look at some of the issues ie chips on the body work scruffy inside and the wheels wanted painting, I was promised these would be done with a full service and mot and valet inside and out. Sat 29th march went to pick car up at 12.30 Matt wasn’t there he turned up with a wet car that had obviously been to the petrol station to give it a jet wash? Once I spoke to Matt he said he want happy with the detailing on the car and could I bring it back? I needed the car for work that night so had to take it home, once home I found that the repairs to the body work had not been done and had not been valeted had I had found chips under the seat also found finger nail clippings, make up all over the passenger side compartment. I d see poke to Matt immediately and he promised to get it all sorted but I wanted the owner to contact me as I was very unhappy. spoke to Nathan the owner on Monday about the lack work done on the car and lies from the salesman, he promised to get everything done as it was his company and didn’t want bad reviews? Spoke to Matt about dropping the car off with him on Friday the 4th of April he didn’t turn up, so left it with another salesman. Two weeks later heard nothing from them so I decided to chase them and was informed it was ready for collection on the Friday 18th of April but it was at there other branch being detailed, when I got there was informed Matt wasn’t going to meet us, on inspection of the valet and other issues all seemed ok. On closer inspection the wheels hadn’t been cleaned inside all the doors hadn’t been cleaned the matts hadn’t been removed to clean under them? Tuesday 22nd of April had the car booked in for a health check with a local garage on inspection found to have a worn tyre to excess bottom arm boot split and when they replaced the brakes the rear caliper wasn’t in properly, inspecting the paint work after repair there was overspray on the windscreen and drivers window the windscreen had been scratched by there paint guy and orange peel over the doors and paint over the inner guard. Sent Nathan email with my concerns and evidence of before and after pics of the issues with the car, and he replied to speak to the salesman Matt.took the car back for a third time to have to the paint work corrected again the peeling paint on the freshly painted wheels, only to be told the scratches were already there and they couldn’t see any problems with the wheels, went straight into the office to speak to the owner Nathan to complain of the issues he said he would get them sorted and couldn’t apologise enough, a week went by with no reply until we contacted them again, and was told the scratches were already there and the third party wheel sprayer was busy? At this decided that enough was enoug. Do not by a car from these people they don’t care about there customers asking as they have your money.
Awful company
Awful company. My car finance company has to refund me my first month's payment because they couldn't deliver the car on time. When it arrived it was damaged. Car Seekers told me they'd get it sorted but I ended up having to do it myself. They did pay for it, though, but they had no intention of actually putting any work in.
They also sold me a car that had more mileage listed on it's MOT in November 2023 than when they advertised it on their website in December 2023. Maybe it was an admin error? Maybe it was something else. Who knows.
I've been waiting for a receipt for a car they took from me in part exchange January. Still haven't got it. Apparently it's on it's way from their archive. I suppose their archive could be in Australia and someone from their office could be picking it up on foot, but I have my doubts
I left a review on Google back in Jan but one of the owners/directors turned up at my house. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.
First class buying experience
I bought my Ford Ranger from Dan (the van man) at the Wombwell branch, he kept in contact with me daily even before they had received the vehicle themselves. Promised me first test drive soon as it arrived, kept to his word even after several other people offering a substantial amount more money to buy it after i had left a deposit. I would definitely buy from them again.
Peugeot problems….
My girlfriend bought a Peugeot and we agreed to pay extra for the cambelt changing and when we picked the car up they said they’d not done it because it didn’t need doing, then took 3 weeks to get the extra money we agree to pay back.
Got home and the handbrake was very very lose and the reply was ‘that’s how its supposed to be’ when it clearly wasn’t as we got a mechanic to tighten it up.
6 months on the steering arms on both side have snapped and the car was supposed to have had a thorough inspection and since purchase there has been minimal miles done in the car.
Would not go here again.
I have sold my car to Carseekers and…
I have sold my car to Carseekers and still have not received payment. I have contacted the sales team and have been told that the accounts team will be in contact. I have been waiting for 2 weeks. I need them to make contact otherwise this will become a legal affair.
Made buying a new van simple
Made buying a new van simple, even though I found the price to be more than reasonable they went above and beyond to make it better
Customer service
Had two cars from these guys and both been great. Had an issue with the second one over a warranty claim but Dan at Carseekers was straight on to it and sorted it out within a day. Great customer service!
Problems started as soon as the car was…
Problems started as soon as the car was delivered. The engine management light was on. It was taken and brought back without it on. They said it was a faulty sensor. In no time, it was back on. I had numerous promises about fixing it which never happened. They then started ignoring my messages so I went to the finance company. They sent someone out to do an inspection on the car. It was found that it had been de-catted. They were told to put a new cat back on it. They collected the car and brought it back saying that all it needed was a new lambda sensor! The car then stated losing power as I was driving, so yet again I contacted them. They got the mechanic to phone me. He was less than pleasant. He told me that it was because of the brakes and it was embarrassing to drive. I had the car looked at and it was nothing to do with the brakes, it was the new, faulty lambda sensor! I also received a letter from the DVLA as they hadn't changed the registered keeper of the car I traded in like they promised. We are nearly 3 years down the line now and the car was never sorted by them. I gave up a long time time ago.

Highly Recommended A+++++
I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Car Seekers in Barnsley for the purchase of my 2018 VW Tiguan and the experience couldn't have been any better. From the moment I dropped by for the test drive, the sales representative was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving me all the necessary information and guidance to make a well informed decision.
The process of purchasing was easy, smooth and efficient - no stressful haggling involved, everything was explained in a clear and concise way. And as if that wasn't enough, when I got the car home I identified a couple of little electrical snags with the car, but the team at Car Seekers was quick to respond and had them sorted in no time at all, covering all the costs - truly customer centric mentality!
As a first time car buyer using car finance I was a bit apprehensive about the whole process, but Car Seekers made the experience stress-free and even enjoyable! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for their next car, and I myself am already looking again for my wife's next car. All in all, a truly pleasant experience and I have to thank the team at Car Seekers for their hard work in giving me a smooth customer journey.
