Damaged my tyre

Damaged my tyre, the only after declamping photo is from a few paces back which obviously isn't close or clear enough to show the damage. Sent me to their claims managing firm which I eventually got to admit that there was no clearer photo of the tyre after the clamp was removed. It is cosmetic damage only luckily but the scummy behaviour is unbelievable. They WILL damage your tyre and pretend it didn't happen.

Absolute scum of the earth

Absolute scum of the earth. Bought a car 5 hours ago. Couldn't tax it at the road side. I called police who told me I would be fine as long as I tax it when I got home. Got home and taxed the vehicle. Went to leave for work a while later and my car had been clamped.

Tried to call the number I was on hold for over an hour. I was now late for work so decided just to pay the 100

Tried to pay online and it Tried charging me £260

Another hour on hold and someone eventually answered.

Now down £100 and a day's wage because of these dirty low life scum bags

You people make me sick

Let me start by saying Yes! I was in the wrong for not taxing my car and having it parked on the road.
Now let me follow that statement up by saying that I am sickened by the fact that this government has nothing better to do than to pay a 3rd party company to clamp vehicles which are parked directly outside of the owners house in a quiet cul-de-sac where no cars visit apart from local residents of which there are not many.
In this current economical crisis where people are struggling to pay for food or water or heating, of course there are going to be cars SORN'd or untaxed because that is a secondary matter to the former. Why must we be punished and have to pay further fees, there are many hard working individuals suffocating with increased bills and tax rates and here you have us paying more.
In any case, my car got clamped and I have been FORCED to pay the release fee as well as the surety fee. WHY OH WHY do I not get my surety fee returned if my vehicle is SORN'd? Oh I know why, because I have to pay yet another tax (£400) to claim back the surety fee (£160).
In addition to that, I am threatened with a 24hr payment timeline after which the fee increases to double and after that it gets impounded but this is another scam because nowhere on the ticket stuck to my windscreen is there a date or time for me to refer to so I can be within bounds.
Oh and dont get me started on your website, took me at least 9 tries to enter my details to bring up the charge information and I waited over 15mins for the payment to process and had to leave my phone on so as to be sure that the website wouldn't refresh making you charge me double. I have the right mind to charge you for the wasted time and electricity my phone used.

So in summary you are a waste of time and a nuisance to peoples lives.

Unfair delivery of service

Why was my car singled out?! Especially since there is a car down the road which has been untaxed for several months, has at least two flat tyres, no MOT and the DVLA still says it has not been abandoned. But mine got clamped and the other one not. I admit to having forgotten to tax my vehicle, as I had not received the reminder letter, nor an email. And I immediately rectified that. However, should not EVERYONE be treated the same way?

A real scammers

A real scammers. It’s impossible to get through by phone, and they only work during business hours. The time to pay the fine is 24 hours or the fine will increase. They put a clamp and did not leave a "Enforcement Notice Number" without which you cannot pay online or by phone.

Poor customer service and delaying to get more money out of the motorist

My vehicle was clamped for no tax due to a bank error they left the paper work which I got the paper work about 1800 tried to ring the number provided and was left on hold for 20mins then cut off I tried again for another 20mins to hear voice when I answered say something put it down laughing I rang again whilst trying to get on to the website which won’t take my reference no which is in my opinion wrote in a rush as can’t read one of the numbers either 3- 5 so I played number roulette trying get my vehicle paid to no end just no trace on the system. And still on line I would like a manager to contact me as this is not acceptable in any way I’m not paying more money because the operator thinks it funny not answering the phone or the road operator not downloaded the info. If the public did this it be classed as conning people to make more money it’s a disgrace I’m trying to fix the problem vehicle is taxed now but can’t get the yellow boot off because they want make double the money il be on the phone till they answer 40 mins now and they shut at 1900 apparently should that be on there message
