Simply put, Carvana is a better way to buy a car. You can browse, finance, and purchase a car online and have it delivered to you as soon as the next day. Cutting out the dealerships translates to thousands of dollars in lower costs on every vehicle we sell. We pass these savings on to consumers in four ways: lower prices (our customers save $1,430 on average per purchase), premium cars, a better experience, and no hidden fees.

The entire experience was great. I was in a very difficult position with a vehicle that I needed to sell. The list of steps that were needed required a call to my lender and the associate at carvana was kind and understanding and contacted the lender and helped me to resolve this.once all the steps required were completed I was able to set up the appointment and I was able to choose the next day. Being in a hurry to get all of this arranged I couldn't be happier. The driver arrived on time and was very nice and promptly completed the inspection and loaded up the vehicle and that was it. I was very satisfied with the process and the professional experience when it came to the associates from phone service to pickup of my vehicle.
This was our second car sale to Carvana this year. In both cases Carvana significantly outbid other national car buying services. Unfortunately, here in SW Florida the nearest drop off center was on the FL east coast so I chose their pickup service. It cost, but was worth it compared to the inconvenience of a two hour drive each way. The process was smooth, the driver pleasant and competent.

This was my first time selling a vehicle to Carvana. Very impressed with the overall efficient sale process and car pickup from my home. All paperwork was done online. Quick payment. Competitive trade-in offer. Great experience.

Terrible Leadership Team, 2 Brand New Vehicles Puchased - 2026, both damaged and reported with 1 hour of pickup, team did nothing to remedy situation and I’m stuck with paying for 2 vehicles on insurance that I never drove….DO NOT BUY NEW VEHICLES FROM CARVANA

Very smooth and easy. Be aware that there will be a pickup charge if you are not near a Carvana hub where you can drop off your car. In my case $550.00 being that the nearest Carvana hub was about ninety miles away. May have missed that in paper work, but should be more prominent in pricing. Still, top price even with the pickup charge.

I had previous transactions with Carvana, have your required items ready for presentation when you sell and its very easy. Pickup was smooth and on time.
Good price for my car was a major motivation as well.

all went like clockwork. good price for car and efficient pickup

Absolutely horrible experience once the money was taken. Delivery delayed over 2 weeks, and then called on the day of pickup to be told vehicle had an engine issue (blown gasket). Waste of time and energy, and useless customer service that goes to central line with little coordination with local pickup hub. One star for having an online portal and good pictures, but that is a scam to get your money.

Super easy sale! This transaction couldn't have been easier. It took about 5 minutes to input information about the car I was selling on line and I have a great offer within a few minutes. Once I accepted, they set the documents to be signed electronically and I scheduled a pick up. On the day of the pickup, the driver kept me posted on when he was going to arrive and the pickup was so fast! It didn't even take 15 minutes. I would totally sell to Carvana again!

OMG- I cannot recommend Carvana enough. I am still amazed at how easy EVERYTHING was-and very happy with what they gave me for my 2010 Subaru Forrester. The questionnaire was much simpler than another site I tried (forget which one but they wanted photos + asked questions hard to answer regarding condition of car). After all was said & done I made an appointment for the following week between 11-2. They called in advance and were here around noon. Did not check how long they were here but no more than 30 minutes. Checked over car -had me Docusign some paperwork-and handed me my check. Being a Jersey girl my whole life I was sure they were going to try to give me less than they promised -but nope- all was good. I was honest & stated car was in rough shape because of a back bender I never had fixed -but again very happy with what they offered. The 2 guys that did the pickup were great -polite and efficient-obviously knew what they were doing. VERY VERY impressed with Carvana!!

Carvana literally waited until the very last minute of a 3 hour window to cancel the vehicle home pickup appointment. Then they rescheduled to two days later without consulting my availability. No one called or anything. As a person who values my time very much, I’m very disappointed. I thought this is suppose to be a painless experience. Will never buy or sell another vehicle to Carvana again.

The process was simple, fast, and transparent. I got the quote, thought about it for a couple of days, then just clicked to accept the offer. I filled out and uploaded some personal information, nothing unusual (driver’s license, registration, etc.). The system took less than 30 minutes to verify everything, and I was able to schedule the pickup for the same day.
The driver called about 40 minutes ahead to give me a heads-up, and he arrived right on the dot. He was nice, polite, and efficient. He reviewed the car, took pictures, and in less than 15 minutes he hauled it away. WOW! I’ll certainly do it all over again when needed.

Generally speaking the Carvana experience is awesome. Pick a car and they delivery to your door and they pickup your old car. EASY
However, the so called "inspection" I would say is FALSE. After a couple days of having the car (Truck) the wheels wobbled a little and there was a loud noise from the back. Come to find a front rim was bent and there was a crack in the rear frame which is what was making the noise.
Here is the best part. Those 2 items are not covered by 100 day "warranty" or by the extended warranty I purchased.
Needless to say they need to be sued.

My experience start to finish was outstanding. Carvana made everything easy and transparent. The pickup driver was on time and professional. Will definitely use them again.

Carvana offered me the best price for my 2023 Lincoln Corsair exceeding offers from Carmax and our local Lincoln dealers. The process of uploading the required information worked simply and smoothly and your offer was issued within about 15 minutes. Follow up emails and text messages were helpful and scheduling pickup was easy. The actual pickup was early within the pickup window and the driver was very professional. I had never used Carvana before and now I'm sorry that I hadn't.

Order a brand new 2026 Jeep Wrangler from Carvana. We were in the process of a move from FL to CO and scheduled delivery to arrive the day after we got in. The vehicle showed up on time however, it was not in “brand new” condition. It was obvious that this vehicle was left out getting sun baked for a long time as all the plastic bumpers, fenders, mirrors etc. were all sun faded out. There was some sort of over-spray on the driver side mirror, baked in -never to come out. The detail job was terrible, a 10 year old could wash a car better. When I let the driver know that this vehicle was not acceptable, he said ok, we’ll cancel the order and load it back up almost like he was expecting us to react that way. We immediately got on the Carvana website to see the details of our order and to see what the next steps are and all of the account info related to the purchase was completely deleted. The worst part is we COMPLETELY LOST OUR NON-REFUNDABLE DELIVERY FEE OF $1,500. Even of we were to order another vehicle, we would have to pay yet ANOTHER delivery fee. This company is a scam to do that. We will never do business with them again and recommend you do the same.

Purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer Platinum from them in cash. DAY OF PICK UP APPOINTMENT (today) they reschedule my pick-up for 8 days later because apparently the "driver's seat belt needs repaired", despite seat belts being item # 83 and safety restraints being item # 146 on their 150 point inspection (so really its 150 ish point), both with "passed" selected. So I'm stuck without a car for another 8 days, through no fault of my own (except trusting them to have a thorough inspection). The driver's seat belt. Really? The one and only seatbelt in use EVERY time the car is in use, you failed to catch this TWICE in your inspection? But because they don't want to pay for quicker maintenance to be done, the financial burden of me not having a car I already paid for is on me. They were gracious enough to offer a $100 reimbursement when I expressed my new expense of rental car/uber over the next 8 days because of their failure, like that is any sort of recompense.
To make matters worse, I asked how long it would take to get my money back and go elsewhere, 10-15 business days. They took it out in hours, but oh no, giving it back will take weeks. GTFO here.
Update: I posted this same review to their Reddit and they banned me lololol. I'm posting it EVERYWHERE.
Update #2: Still getting the run-around. Now they're saying no one in their entire company can tell me what the nature of the needed repair is other than "Driver's seatbelt". Copied and pasted directly from facebook DM's:
(Me) You replied to my trustpilot review asking me to DM you. (XXXXXXXXX) is the email address associated with my account. I have spent all morning trying to get a forthcoming response on
1) what specifically is wrong with the drivers seat belt
2) how this was missed in your 150 point inspection
3) why item #3, no accidents, was marked “passed” when the I discovered the vehicle does have an accident in its history (your own customer service reps confirmed both auto check and carfax show it)
4) a record of all maintenance and technician notes from the 150 point inspection so I can see what all repairs were done from the 24 points that had them. It is not unreasonable for a customer to ensure they aren’t buying a lemon when you’ve already demonstrated that your 150 point inspection is clearly inaccurate.
Overall this has been a terrible experience, and I am now left without transportation for an additional 8 days where I not only have to commute 28 miles one way to work every weekday, but I also now cannot make it to the farmers markets I had planned for both this weekend and next for my own business, which will cost me hundreds of dollars in sales
(Them) Hi Keeton! Thank you for sending over your email. I’m truly sorry this experience has been so frustrating, especially with the additional delay leaving you without transportation and impacting your business. I understand why you have questions about the seat belt, the inspection, and the accident history, and why these concerns have affected your confidence in the vehicle.
Regarding the seat belt, we unfortunately don't have additional technician notes explaining the specific concern identified. Our available vehicle history information comes from Carfax and AutoCheck, and I can relay your feedback about the inspection discrepancy to our team for review. I know you were hoping for more detailed inspection records, and I'm sorry we don't have additional documentation available to share.
(Me) Are you saying “we” as a customer service rep, or as in Carvana, don’t have technician notes specifically detailing the nature of the seatbelt repair that is currently causing the delay in my vehicle?
(Them) When I say “we,” I mean Carvana as a whole. I understand why you’re asking, especially when the delay is tied to a specific seatbelt repair and you’re left without a clear explanation of what needs to be addressed.
Our local team’s role is to inspect the vehicle’s readiness for pickup or delivery and communicate any issues that prevent it from moving forward. In this case, they identified that the vehicle wasn’t ready, but they don’t provide us with a detailed technician report outlining exactly what was found, why the repair is needed, or what work is being performed. Their priority is to flag the issue promptly so we can notify you and get the vehicle where it needs to go to be addressed.
I wish I had more specific details to share with you right now. If additional information becomes available to us, I’ll be happy to pass it along. I know that doesn’t give you the level of detail you’re looking for, and I’m sorry we don’t have a clearer explanation to provide at this time.

I had a great experience selling my car to Carvana! They arrived on time, and the inspection was quick and easy. The pickup process was also fast and smooth. Everything was convenient and hassle-free, which saved me a lot of time. I’m very happy with the service and would recommend Carvana to anyone looking to sell their car!

I began this process during the first week of October 2026 and, unfortunately, my experience with Carvana has been nothing short of disappointing.
I scheduled my 2019 Cadillac XT4 for pickup on October 8, 2026, with a scheduled window of 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The driver arrived at approximately 6:30 PM. After photographs were taken of the vehicle and our driver's licenses, I requested a receipt for the transaction. I was told I would receive one within 24 to 48 hours. It has now been eight days, and I have still received nothing.
During the sale process, I initially requested payment by paper check but later contacted Carvana to change the payment method to ACH. Despite making that change, the driver arrived with a paper check. When I informed him that I had switched to ACH, he simply stated that he would "take it back and shred it." That response did not inspire confidence and raised concerns about the handling of my transaction.
While I understand that October 12 was a holiday, I reasonably expected the ACH deposit to be completed by October 13, 2026. However, no payment was received.
When I called on October 14 to inquire about the delay, the representative I spoke with apologized and commented that I "sounded like a nice lady" and wanted to help me. While I appreciate an apology, I was looking for answers and resolution, not personal observations. After being placed on hold, I was then informed that the fastest way to receive my money would be through an overnighted check and that the ACH transfer would take several more days. This was the exact opposite of what I had been led to believe earlier in the process.
At every step, I have received inconsistent information, poor communication, and delays regarding both documentation and payment. Customers should not have to repeatedly follow up to obtain basic transaction records or determine when they will be paid for their vehicle.
My confidence in Carvana's process has been significantly diminished. I have informed the company that I will be forwarding my documentation to my attorney, filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and sharing my experience publicly.
Consumers should do their research before choosing Carvana. My experience has been frustrating, disorganized, and unacceptable.
Do better, Carvana.
After reading your response Carvana, I reached out and found out the first agent put the request through wrong, so my overnight check was not coming. Your company or the agent did not have the decency to call me, tell me and fix it!!! The new agent I just spoke to stated she was fixing it. I have just filed the complaint with the BBB and next will be the news media, Contact 6 in WI.

It was a great experience. The pickup was eventful. The price changed at pickup. No time to negotiate
