You are treated as a walking wallet to be in and out a quickly as possible
This is a very interesting house but the way it is curated and run is so very poor. It really is just a money making enterprise that herds as many people through as possible.
The staff are not so pleasant - borderline rude.
The extras you need to pay for to see the whole house are excessive. The base enterance price is too much. The visual guide is so poorly done a uni student would do far better - it was basically useless.
The revolving display in the cellar could have been good but was so inept and basic that it set the tone for how this organisation sees its visitors - nothing more than walking wallets.
The ludicrous prices in the shop, high entrance prices and all the other add-ons a tourist will feel they sould get in order to gain the best experience smack of an organisation that cares little for its product and only if its profit - which must be substantial.
The queues to get in. The total lack of any real and interesting information. The disinterest of the staff.
Not really worth visiting. Enjoy the facade and visit other much less crowded houses.
