New owners won't respond to inquiries
Previously, the former owners (Cordell) of Cascade Sweeps (CS) gave us several reasonably successful chimney cleanings until their retirement in 2025. But now the new owners virtually never respond (despite solicitations on their website) to phone calls, emails, and text inquiries about an appointment. (Corroborated by a neighbor who also repeatedly tried to contact them.) Subsequently, an employee at Willard Power Vac (WPV) related that he had heard several (“horror”) stories about new problems with Cascade Sweeps. Also, he said that CS was now charging upwards of an exorbitant $400-800 for this service! (CS previously charged $180. WPV currently charges $195.) So, it seems that new owners of Cascade Sweeps lack the business acumen/ethics to successfully maintain the reputation that the previous owners established.
