Was easy, fast, and informative. I was quoted online and was contacted by an coparts rep within minutes. A tow truck driver in my region was scheduled to pickup my totaled vehicle. Title/keys were exchanged for my check. I was skeptical but everything worked out smoothly.

This was a very easy, efficient experience. I shopped around and discovered that Cash for Cars gave us the best price by far for my son’s 2009 Honda Civic which was totaled when the passenger side airbags spontaneously deployed (no collision whatsoever.)
We made the arrangements, then the tow truck driver called and gave my son a one-hour window to be ready. In exchange for the signed title and the keys, my son was handed a check, which was deposited and cleared. No problems at all. I would recommend Cash for Cars.

I agreed to sell my 2014 VW Jetta to Cash for Cars on 6/10/25. At the time the Cash for Cars representative, Araceli Mino explained that a tow service would be contacting me in 24 to 48 hours to schedule the pickup of the vehicle. Ms. Mino explained the tow service would collect the signed vehicle title in exchange for a check in the purchase amount. It is now 6/22/25 and my vehicle is still sitting at the paint and body shop where I have it parked. I spoke with Vanessa at Copart on 6/10/25, she wasn't helpful about scheduling a time for the pickup of the vehicle.

Everything was great except for information given on completing title work. Had to redo multiple times.

My problem is, that even though I sent a copy of my title, the original check was not written to me and if my sister hadn’t noticed before your driver left the driveway you would’ve had my car for free! I wouldn’t have had any recourse either because I had signed the title which your driver already had! You still don’t have my name right but, my sister and brother in law didn’t let the car leave their driveway until a new check was written in my actual name!

Made the deal, changed the title of the truck, sat around forv2 days waiting for the tow truck guy and check.however, he never came. They don't mind waiting your time. The testimonials must be fake. Would mot recommend to a friend.

The car title still has not been resolved and I have not received a check payment for the car in question.

It was good and easy process to sale the car to you, the pickup was a little bit confusing to exactly when the town company going to come. Instruction to hand over the title need to include what should be done in case of having two owners name on lt.

Process was easy. Got a fair offer for my '98 4-Runner. 2 days later, they came and towed it away. The 1-star deduction was for a title snafu that resulted in a trip to the DMV, but, to their credit, they did reimburse my expenses, though it took a while.

The purchase offer and pick up of the vehicle was good.

Cashing the check that was given was horrible. I wasted two hours trying to cash the Bank of America written check at a BOA branch. I spoke to Copart and the lady told me all checks have holds on them and that you can not cash a check that was just given to you. You have to wait 24-48hrs. And you have to cash it at your own bank or a check cashing store (yeah right and pay a bunch of fees) you cannot do it at BOA. None of this is disclosed anywhere. They should be called DeniedChecksforCars.com. Cash is not an option when they pick up your vehicle and the Checks have many restrictions that were never told about.

The next day, they send me a text message telling me that I did not give them the title. I tell them the tow truck driver took possession of the title and took a picture of it and put it wherever he put it. They said they would look further into it. Next day again, i get the same message and a call. I tell them the tow truck driver has the title.

Today i get a message stating they found the title.

Honestly, my experience was super great, super fast super easy they were attentive. They were communicative. They worked with what I wanted for the value of my car. They made it super easy to come pick it up. They helped me fill out my title. They were really just on top of everything so I didn’t have to be.

Great communication all the way up until after we agreed on the sale. I was told multiple times that a tow truck driver would call me when they were on the way to get my car. Days passed, and I finally reached out to my local Copart location - and they had already picked up my car without telling me. I then had to go out of my way to drive to their office to give them my title and keys, and collect my check.

Everything was simple and easy, tell about vehicle, get title, take pictures, and pick up my check. It was that easy, I highly recommend calling cashforcars.

They want an affadavit saying I put wrong seller on. I put my name.

Have just spent another 1/2 hr. trying to get anyone.
I have looked over title and it is correct as far as I can tell. I really don't know what is wrong, so I wait until they contact me with helpful info.

Im happy to report that I was paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone! There was no negotiating, explaining, begging, etc, lol! I waited a little longer to be helped than I had anticipated or was quoted, but once it was my turn it was extremely fast and smooth. They didn't scrutinize my car and try to low ball me, they just moved forward with the deal as discussed on the phone. My name wasnt on my title and I just had to sign in two places on a DMV form to fix that, and other companies had made a big problem with that. Im very satisfied and would use again in the future.

Best price for my car. No title, no problem, no keys, they'll take it. Easy process.

After my initial interaction with the website I received a call right away from Irfan. I gave some information but unfortunately I did not have a clean title so I had to get a Lien release letter from my bank. Once that was received I texted Irfan back answered some more questions and was transfered to the tow company to set up a date when car would be picked up. Polo Pj came to get the car ( he was very pleasant) he took my car away. Unfortunately I didnt put the lien release letter with the title so they sent another tow truck driver to pick it up ( Burke was also very nice) All in all there was a lot to do but if I EVER had or wanted to sell my car I would absolutely go with Cash for Cars..

The tow truck father and son team couldn't have been nicer! Even in the 90-plus degree heat we were having that afternoon, I don't think they even broke a sweat loading up my Tracker :)

The process went smoothly and I'm very satisfied.

*UPDATE*
After a week, today I received both an email and a text saying that Copart has not received my certificate of title. When the tow truck driver handed me the check, I in turn handed him the title as agreed. If Copart does not have the title, it's not because of me. They need to take it up with the driver. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Informative, responsive, and on time. I received my check at the time of pickup. They were very helpful with instructing me on title transfer and arrived right on time.

I'm still receiving emails and texts from CashForCars that they don't have the title, which I provided with the tow truck driver along with the keys. It has been a frustrating experience because now I'm being requested to provide an affidavit for the missing title. I have no idea if they've checked with the towing company. Can't say I would recommend this to anyone else.
