The sale of my car is still in process as the person who pick up the car left the title on the counter top. So title was mailed to them and now I wait for payment.

I had to sell my car that was located at a dealership in Memphis from Dallas.
I had never sold a car before so Sayed Mustafa carefully walked me through all of the details and continued to prompt me to get important documentation in his hands to clear up the title. He was so very professional and polite. I was working off of my IPhone SE, so the screen was small. Sayed had to assist me in getting all the necessary documents in his hands. He comunicated with the parent company regarding information they needed and got all of the boxes checked. What a stunning and thorough piece of work was ultimately generated with Sayed’s work.
What a kind and careful professional just when you need him most. A very good system, indeed!

Cash for cars made me an offer and assigned a company to come pick up my car. I managed to find the title and had everything prepared. When the driver from Active Towing & Transportation arrived, he wanted to "evaluate" the vehicle and said that it was inconvenient that I had found the title because he has already paid the $20 to run it through the DMV. He then told me the offer made by Cash for Cars was not a reasonable offer since he would have to pay to have the registration brought current on top of the repairs. I told him I was under the impression that the vehicle was going to be scrapped and he claimed as the buyer and with Cash for Cars being a 3rd party that ultimately the decision on what to do with it was his.

He said Cash for Cars had no business making an offer on the vehicle without it being evaluated first since it was HIS decision as the buyer. Without looking at anything other than the expired registration, he offered me $100 or would graciously forgive the fact that he had driven over an hour to get there and just leave.

I declined his offer of $100 and he left promptly.

My time with cash for cars wasn't bad, but scheduling the pickup was very difficult. I work a full time job, so not being able to even choose a specific day forced me to take time off to be able to hand off the title. If this could be changed and a pickup time could be chosen, I would have been totally satisfied.

It was very nice to have our truck removed. The only down side to the whole experience was that the first person never told us we needed to text a picture of the title and license. Once that was figured out, it went smoothly.

From the moment I spoke with the rather rude customer service representative, it was a poor experience. The second rep was much nicer, but the phone call lasted over two hours and once I got forwarded to the processing side, they continued to require more documentation than the DMV for title paperwork. Also, when they came to get the 4 vehicles, they only took two titles and did not drop off the checks. The entire process was a perfect example of how not to do business. I will not be using this company again.

I understand you outsource customer service to India but I could only understand about every 4th word from the individuals I spoke with and they kept talking, talking through me when I attempted to explain or ask questions until I had to multiple times say “can you please let me talk” Also one of them gave me incorrect instruction in how to complete the title transfer then accused me of “writing over” a name because I had to cram my wife’s printed name in a space they told me to only print my name.
Then when they arranged to pick up my car at the dealership and call me an hour before so I could travel there to meet the tow truck, they didn’t and just showed up at the dealership They didn’t even call me when they were there and then couldn’t find the car and left I waited the entire day for that phone call and lost an entire days work If I hadn’t called to get a status at the end of the day I would still be waiting for that call.
After speaking with a fourth person and after being disconnected I was able to get the pickup rescheduled for the next day I did receive a call and was able to meet the tow truck at the dealership and complete the transaction
On all it was a very frustrating experience

Fast easy transaction friendly and helpful staff. The car was picked up same day and driver had a check for agreed payment. As an old guy whom hasn’t sold a car off the street in 50 years it would have been nice if the staff member would have given me detailed instructions on how to fill out the title transfer on Ca DMV web site as I’m not computer literate, but otherwise it was an agreeable deal.

Had a car that was effectively totaled that was not covered by insurance. They offered the best price. Gave them the title, they gave me a check and towed the car away. Easy peasy.

Went fine. They were prepared with a POA form when I accidentally filled in the wrong line on the title.

My experience with Cash For Cars was great! There was an issue initially with a rep not coming to pick up my vehicle on the scheduled day and at the scheduled time frame. This happened at least two times. But they did finally send someone to pick up my vehicle, get the title and give me the payment (in the form of a check). Overall the entire process was simple and smooth. I’d definitely use them again if I needed to sell another vehicle for Cash.

I was selling a worn out car. Still running but not really usable. I got an honest quote from Cash 4 Cars, accepted it online, and they did the rest. They picked it up, transferred the title and closed the whole thing out. The best part was not having a bunch of BS offers like you get when you use social media type sites.

Initial conversation with Jannie went well. She explained the process and requested the necessary info to get the ball rolling. After being handed off to the dept to schedule the tow things went downhill. The rep was extremely hard to understand, he talked very fast, called me by the wrong name and tried to push off contacting the tow people on ME! When the tow truck driver arrived the next day… we got the car on the truck and he was ready to pull off. I asked… “where’s the check?” He responded, “I don’t have one. My info shows $0.” He actually showed me his paperwork indicating $0. BIG PROBLEM! We both get on the phone to clear this up. I tried to reach Jannie, who’d provided the quote that I agreed on, with no luck. He called his contacts and after a few minutes of going round and round they confirmed the amount I’d been promised. However, the experience didn’t end there. After receiving the “Bill of Sale”, it clearly states that it is the SELLERS RESPONSIBILITY to fill out all necessary paperwork to transfer the tile. This was 180° DIFFERENT than what Jannie told me! She told me several times, after I repeatedly asked, “No, you don’t have to worry about that, they will handle all the paperwork for transferring the title!” In summary, the process was full of hiccups falling way short of promises made as well as meeting (let alone, exceeding), my expectations.

Great experience, fair online price and easy instructions on all the steps required to include title signing.

Everything was great except the tow truck driver never called my husband to meet him nearby where the car was. My husband had to drive 40 minutes away to give the title and get the check.

The app allowed me to scheduled a pick on New Years Day when the lot was apparently closed. So I sat and waited by my car for 4 hours and when I did call the only number I could call (the intake line) the person on the other end didn't even know the lot was closed, she messaged them to call me and let me know if they could still make it, which I never received any call. Then when I called back the next day I am told you won't take my out of state title (I never had an in state title), I was questioned on the app when making my appt if I had an out of state title but wasn't told I needed to get an in state title. I did finally get it picked up on the Jan 3rd. I wasn't happy waiting 4 hours by my car on my holiday because your app didn't know it was a holiday and if your policy is that you don't accept out of state titles you app should tell the user that.

The rep I talked to was amazing went above and beyond to help me in a devastating time in my life … the experience was not stressful and that’s my main priority keeping stress to a minimum and they handled everything so

They offered more money than others. Gave good directions on the procedure-and it was easy to transfer title. Received the check when title was given in.

The process was very simple from start to finish. I reached out via email to a local Copart manager in Concord, NC who put me in touch with a rep. I worked with Josh Nevore and all our communication was via phone, text and email. He was very respectful and thorough with any questions I asked. I just had to submit info about my vehicle and a few photos and then once I received my offer, I got the title notarized and sent proof of that. Once that was all complete, pickup was scheduled within a week and the tow truck driver delivered the check at pickup and I handed the title over. The offer was very fair for the vehicle!
