After attending my first cashless festival, things went relatively smoothly, even if, like many people, I didn’t realize I needed to request a refund quickly, so I left a few euros behind. But what happened at Peacock was something else entirely.

When I arrived at the festival, I tried to top up my cashless wristband with about €25, as suggested, simply by scanning the chip. Since I was only staying for one night, there was no point creating an account. In the end, €26.50 was taken from my bank account, but the funds never appeared on my cashless wallet.

After the festival, knowing that mistakes can happen, I asked for a simple refund of the money I never received. I got no response from either the festival or the cashless provider. Their customer service is terrible, and they turn a blind eye to a serious issue. I wouldn’t be surprised if they pocketed hundreds or even thousands of euros on the spot, claiming debit errors and basically scamming their customers.

Huge scam

Huge scam. They assure you that you will receive the refund of the remaining balance on your wristband. They do not.

No reimbursements! Not trustworthy

This company was used for a music festival in Annemasse. I asked for the reimbursement of the remaining cash booked on our card in October 2023! And they never reimbursed it. If they do that with all customers they will make a nice profit! They are simply crooks...
