Poor Response to Technical problems
Disappointed that system glitches are not picked up early and then inconvenience customers. My last experience left me wondering if I should continue using the platform for future transactions. Customer service response was poor as they made feel like I should not worry when things go wrong. Apology felt like an after thought.

I send money monthly to Zim through your service , but I'm not happy with Ecocash service . My son , in Zim who receives it says Ecocash demand 20% of payment , & usually are unwilling to pay the remainder in Cash .
He now suggests I send via Mukuru , Western Union or others .
Please follow up on this .Though I've used your service for about 2 yrs , I might have to change to other providers .

Hi, Philip, What you are experiencing is fraud. Ecocash agents that cash out are only allowed to charge the set fees which is substantially lower than you mentioned. We will contact you and request the details of the Ecocash Agent that your son cashed out at, and report this to Ecocash on your behalf. This is fraudulent activity and Ecocash will take all the necessary steps to stop this happening. We apologise for the inconvenience. We will also send you a list of the Agents that we guarantee cash collection from.
We can assure you that we have escalated your experience to the highest levels. We urge you to report these issues. Please ask your son never to accept this again and in cases where possible please ask your son to use an official Econet shop, as the controls on fraud are much higher here.
