Returned $200 worth of clothing. Cost me $80 to ship to CHINA. (Let alone the terrible return process). When I asked about an update, they said China is holding it because taxes need to be paid on it, and that if the package is damaged, I will not get any refund.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would.

This is a low-quality Chinese brand that falsely presents itself as selling Italian leather and having a connection to New York. The profile is misleading. My order took about 25 days to arrive, and the product quality was extremely poor—cheap materials and very badly made. I paid $59 for something that is not even worth $10.

When I requested a return, they made the process very complicated, with the risk of losing the entire payment. Instead, they initially offered a $6 refund, and after a lot of back-and-forth communication, they finally refunded $11.59.

This experience felt like an absolute scam, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before buying from this company.

After my experience with this company I promised I would write an honest review.

CONS: My experience was similar to others' - cheap materials, chemical smell, crazy sizing. Returns are at the expense of the custumer and were going to cost me more than my purchase price to return.

PROS: They are willing to negotiate. I do want to note that the company offered me many options to avoid the return charges, including à replacement in a new size free of charge as well as an offer of replacement with another product. In addition they would not require me to return the items. I did not want a replacement and they accepted my request to refund just short of 50% of my purchase price.

Warning about their shoes. Sizing is irregular. Cheap materials. If you want to return them, must spend $30 or more to mail them back to CHINA ! This is not in the sales agreement. AVOID ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS.

are good quality, and comfortable! Would order again and recommend this company/product to others!

Just like the other poor reviews… shoes I ordered and received today are low quality, cheap materials that stink of chemicals (similar to gasoline) and are too small.
I was under the impression that the company was actually “Castelli New York” but it’s really a scam out of China. Too bad I didn’t see reviews before.
The good reviews here have to be fake!

I am sick and tired of companies like these that advertise on Facebook.
I purchased a cardigan that took two weeks to get here and instead of xl it was a medium size.
To add insult to injury they will not refund my purchase and want me to pay for the return.!!

Ordered shoes a while ago, 7.5 women’s. Shoes sized 39 show up, obviously too big, zero seeming recourse.

Do not order from this site! I wish I had looked up reviews beforehad. As others state, this company is in China, and if you want to return anything, you will have to pay shipping costs to China. Based on the site, it looks and sounds like the company is in the U.S.

Your quality of merchandise is exceptional. The item was as expected. The shirts are cut a little small though. I would never order extra large in a top but in this wish I did. I

This is AlERT , this company it's big scamming operation this company in China I ordered vest in December 19th for $69,96 I received order after 10 days nothing matching order at all not Material not design piece of junk I send email requesting return I was told to keep item and pay off 15% and I have to return item back to China on my expenses so it's it cost $50 to send,basically is a big trap you either accept take 15% or send it on your expenses very expensive shipment so this is exactly how is the business it's all about it's to make money from the scamming operation you order something for $69,96 they send you something is not worth mor then $15 then you had no choice but to accept the offer 15% this is what is the business is all about and I'm sure there is a millions of people happing to them like this, I will go Business Bureau I will report to Authority this is it should not be in website I am sure there are too many victims out there lost their money for these website to make money

The clothes design and quality on site are not even close to the clothes they ship. It’s a fake site and customer service is absent to even process returns. It’s horrible! Don’t get duped!

This is a fraudulent company. The marketing is deceiving and shows a much higher quality product. When i received my sweater/blazer, it was immediately apparent it was not the same that i ordered. The fabric was thin and flimsy and the size and shape was not as depicted in the ad.
I started the return process. Which required me to send an email and ask what the return process was since there was no information included in the email communication from the purchase.
I was responsible for paying the shipping cost back to China, which equals the amount I paid for this disgusting sweater.
It makes no sense to pay that return fee, so I kept the sweater and donated it.

Do not order from this company. It is a scam.

Scam site. High Prices and dishonest practices. I first ordered a jacket in November 2025. It is now December 8, 2025 and I have no communication from Castelli and no jacket. BUYER BEWARE. This junk comes from China, but they do not disclose this. Then shortly after the jacket order, I ordered 2 sweaters which I have. They have no label on the inside of the neck as to a designer and the medium size is enormous. Not a medium by US standards. I wanted to return the sweaters and exchange for the same sweaters only in a small. The email I received in return said I could keep the sweaters and they would send out two in a small. WHY would I want to keep these? OR, I could get a 15% refund AND pay almost $40.00 to return them. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? On the Castelli New York website, they say that items are shipped from New York. WRONG. They are shipped from China as I have the paperwork to prove that. They lie, cheat, deceive and try to extort more money from you at every turn. THEY NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. Oh, here is another tid bit - the packageing I received the sweaters in - the label on the front of the bag gave a warehouse address here in the USA. Therefore, why would I not be able to return it to this warehouse and not have to be strapped with international return shipping fees of almost $40.00???? Stay away from this company. EXTRA NOTE: On 12/8/2025, I received the the jacket mentioned above. This jacket is disgusting. The material is just cheap period. The colors are dull and not vibrant as shown in the picture. Again, there is no label on the inside of the neck of the jacket as to a designer. BUYER BEWARE. Please do not put yourself in the same situation I find myself in. Do your due diligence and go to the Better Business Bureau website and read. Save yourself the time and trouble.

Castelli New York is a scam site with high prices items and cheap chinese quality merchandise, they are based in China and the clothes are also made very poorly somewhere in China.
What you see on their site it is Not what you get, a total scam, and if you want to return it another bad scam, they lied when the say easy returns, they want you to pay shipment back to China, another discrepancy in their deceiving website, be aware : do not to buy from them.
