Nothing is ever too much trouble

Nothing is ever too much trouble - Damien is so personable, professional and always so prompt when dealing with any queries or questions. Castle Fine Art in Nottingham is our go to when we are choosing our next pieces - we have now purchased Jon Jones works from them & have never been anything else but totally impressed!

Very poor service

Very poor service, no communication.

I have purchased from Castle Fine art in person from their Nottingham branch many times over the years and never had an issue. However my 2 most recent purchases have been made online and the service has been abysmal.

They do estimate a long delivery window (up to 4 weeks) but when spending thousands you do expect to be kept informed or at least be able to see the progress through the order tracking link you get on the auto generated confirmation email.

My first online piece arrived within a fortnight, so not too unreasonable, however my latest order is now at the 4 week point and the status on the order tracker hasn’t changed (in fact the link had expired and I had to request another in order to see that the status hadn’t moved beyond ‘confirmed’)

I have tried to call them, the phone diverts to a mobile number with the option to leave a voicemail. I have emailed but have not had a response. But this is consistent with the service others have reported.

In summary, buy in person not online!

Commissioned piece

I commissioned a piece by the Bisaillon brothers as I already had a piece of their work I was updated on its progress, a few phone calls and emails,I was able to change a few things after seeing a ‘sample’ , it took a few months but worth the wait. Tony delivered it , moved another piece to make them work together , go the heights spot on . Great work and service

Great customer experience, beautiful art

I've bought 3 pieces and a coffee table book over the last few years, assisted very ably by Will from Castle Fine Art. Every piece has been delivered within 3 weeks, beautifully framed, carefully wrapped and shipped with zero damage. I'm a huge fan of Billy Connolly's comedy and art and it's such a delight when each piece arrives. Castle Fine Art are a pleasure to do business with. I appreciate their after-sales care, emailing notifications when new collections become available.

Very happy customer

I purchased some art by Boy George during an event evening in Cardiff. Art consultant Hana looked after me before and after my purchase with advice and updates. This was not a quick process as the piece I chose was not at the gallery on the night but was shown to me on a computer as one she thought I'd like. Having the opportunity to chat with and have photos taken with George made my experience even more special.
Fast forward to March and my artwork was delivered and mounted by Tony who took the time to offer advice on the best place to put it. He also took the time to rearrange and mount art that had to be taken down to make space for the new piece.
All in all a brilliant experiece and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Castle Fine Arts again. Thank you to all involved.

Dan was so kind and lovely

Dan was so kind and lovely. He was able to install the artwork meticulously and quickly - he explained how they would be hung and any adjustments he made so that the paintings were level and flush with the wall. It was so lovely having him and Nicola from the gallery over to our home for this quick installation xx

A truly wonderful experience.

I first contacted Castle Fine Art via their website and emailed a really helpful man called Jay. He worked in the offices and helped ensure that the artwork my Mum was interested was available to view in the Chester branch.
When there, a woman called Rosie helped make our experience so pleasant. Neither my Mum or I have ever bought artwork before and Rosie made us feel so welcome and the whole experience was wonderful. She even offered us a drink while we were there and we spoke about her area of expertise.
My Mum walked away a very happy customer and there were happy tears and hugs for Rosie.
Thanks again Jay and Rosie. I’m sure we’ll return.

30th Visit

We visited Castle Fine Art in Chester to celebrate my 30th birthday, and the experience was truly outstanding from start to finish.
I called ahead to let them know we’d be in the city for the day, and spoke to the lovely Sarah, who was immediately warm and welcoming. When we arrived, she greeted us with glasses of fizz and personally gave us a tour of the gallery. Sarah was incredibly professional and knowledgeable about every artist and piece, making the whole experience feel personal and special.
We ended up purchasing two beautiful artworks, and Sarah went above and beyond by securing both pieces in the 96 edition my birth year. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the purchase even more meaningful.
She also recommended a fantastic local restaurant, which we booked for the following day the food was every bit as excellent as she promised.
This was hands-down one of the best gallery experiences we’ve ever had, far surpassing any previous visits elsewhere. Sarah’s service was exceptional, and we left feeling genuinely looked after.
Huge thank you to Sarah and the team at Castle Fine Art Chester we couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Wonderful process of purchasing art!

From the get go the purchase of a piece of art from Castle Fine Art has been a pleasure.
The team are helpful without being pushy, I was provided with all relevant information up front without any pressure to purchase. Any queries I had were answered quickly and thoroughly. Service from Ashleigh (Sales Manager)has been first rate and would definitely purchase from them again.

On the day of collection the piece was packaged perfectly for transport and was in perfect condition when presented to the recipient as a gift.

Company is a scam selling art pieces…

Company is a scam selling art pieces that do not exist.
Sales people will be very quick to take you money and then your order never shows up after months of waiting.
Then you have to fight them for a refund. Possible section 75 even as far as a small claims court to get your money back. Total scam company and a waste of time.

Excellent service yet again, thank you!

We first visited the Manchester gallery for my 50th birthday and we've been regulars for the last 5 years.

The staff are fantastic. Jonathan, Liam, Federico and Lee are friendly, knowledgeable, and work with you to build a collection, if that's what you want.

We had a new piece delivered today and the service provided by Daniel the technician was fabulous. Not only did he hang the new artwork for us, but he also rehung some other pieces we'd moved for decorating. His attention to detail and perfectionism made sure that everything was presented in the best possible way, we are very impressed. Thank you!

Excellent service from start to finish

Excellent service from start to finish. Leonie at the Marlow gallery was incredibly helpful when we made the purchase and kept us informed of our delivery and installation date.
Nick installed the art and was very professional and conscientious.
