Steve was fantastic. He was professional, friendly and worked seamlessly with all of the suppliers on our wedding day. The end product was amazing. Steve captured our day perfectly and we will treasure the film forever. I would highly recommend Steve as a videographer for any wedding.

Incredible! Not only is he a fantastic videographer, but an incredibly warm person as well. When the teaser clip arrived, we were absolutely thrilled, and everyone’s feedback was so heartwarming; comments like 'This feels like a scene from a film' and 'Did an award-winning videographer document your day?' perfectly captured the magic. Steve consistently exceeds expectations, and we couldn’t have chosen a more skilled or kinder individual for the job. We were left speechless by the footage we received. Immense gratitude for providing us with precious memories to cherish forever!

Steve was absolutely everything we could have asked for and more. He went above and beyond on the day from calming nerves, to fixing buttonholes and just generally being amazing to have around. That’s before we get to his work which is beyond amazing. Our film is absolutely perfect, he captured all the emotion and joy of the day so beautifully and then edited it masterfully. Castle Gate Films was one of several videographers suggested by our wedding planner, Poppy Sienna, and as the mother of the bride, I am thrilled our daughter chose Steve. He produced absolutely brilliant work, including a beautiful short reel within 24 hours, for the newlyweds to share with my 100yr old father who was unable to attend. He captured so many wonderful moments and blended them seamlessly into the most amazing story of a glorious weekend.

Steve's calm presence and sheer professionalism inspired huge confidence, and we all enjoyed having him around for two days. The proof of the pudding is in the outstanding results.

My husband and I were thrilled that we made the decision to hire Steve as the videographer for our wedding. He is so incredibly talented and has a tremendous eye for detail. I had a lot of moving parts at my wedding, hustling in between venues, indoors, outdoors, etc. Steve navigated it all and crafted a story that was weaved so beautifully to match the sentiment of the day. We just watched Steve's videos and they are filled with love. His unique ability to find the most impactful moments across a 10 hour day is incredible. We cannot thank Steve enough for the absolutely incredible job he did capturing our wedding at Hedsor House. With over 130 guests, we were amazed by how beautifully he managed to film not only every special moment, but also the stunning grounds and all of the people we love most.

He delivered three edited videos - an Instagram short, a short film, and a feature film - each one full of emotion, creativity, and so much love. We were recommended Castle Gate Films by our photographer and Steve didn’t disappoint. He thought of every detail for our day, even hand delivering cam recorders before the event to ensure we got some home footage. Steve was exceptionally professional and really put us at ease on our wedding day. We received our complete footage and video in just under 3 weeks and it was perfect. The vibe and the feel of the day was wonderfully captured without any input other than our initial meetings on what we wanted. We couldn’t recommend Steve more. He perfectly captured the happiest day of our lives and we can’t stop watching our videos!!

Wow, what can I say? Steve was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He took time to phone us and understand us as a couple, he fit in with our crazy, manic toddler life and he made us feel so confident in his work. An amazing wedding day companion, and an amazing videographer. The night he delivered our film, we re-watched it at least three times, we cried harder every time and we noticed something new each time round. Every clip had a meaning and told a different story, the smallest of details were captured in the most beautiful, cinematic, elegant way. From the minute he arrived in the morning, Steve was calm and friendly, blending in beautifully and never once making us feel as though we had cameras in our faces. He was a calming influence to me (the Bride) and I instantly knew he would just do his thing and would be an absolute joy to have with us.

We received a teaser and a beautiful highlights video in just a few days and our final full video just a couple of weeks after our day. Nothing was rushed and the videos were edited in such a stunning way. We had all our family round to view the video and everyone was in tears again! We got married in London, December 2022.
We were looking for someone who could match the style of our day which we had hoped would be relaxed, stylish and modern.
We also wanted someone who would communicate well with us and make us feel that our day was important to them.
It is not possible to overstate how well Steve / Castle Gate Films achieved this.
Steve made us feel relaxed and reassured from the moment we booked him. His communication was excellent and he was willing to listen to what we wanted, as well as offer advice as and when we needed it.
And then came the final product… WOW!
We have a feature film, as well as the ‘documentary’ style for ceremony, first dance and speeches. We are absolutely thrilled with them all. Steve has captured our day so beautifully and we will treasure these films forever.
Even if this seems like a large expense, we would highly recommend using a quality supplier like Steve, because we will be watching and loving these films forever!

We were looking for a videographer for our wedding that was not just great at all of the technical elements but also someone that truly got 'us' and the natural approach that we were looking for. From the moment we met Steve we felt that he understood what we were looking for and was completely receptive to any ideas that we had. On the day he captured absolutely everything we were after and yet wasn't obtrusive and made our guests feel very much at ease. We are over the moon with the results and would highly recommend Steve!

I Genuinely never leave reviews for anything, but the finished result of our wedding video has quite honestly blown my mind.

When we started wedding planning, the most important thing for me was a video, as I know how overwhelming a big day can be and I didn't want to miss anything, we wanted to relive the day over and over again for years to come. The problem was finding someone who I could leave this important task with.
I came across Steve from castlegate films and had a look at his work, I had a feeling that he may just be the man for the job. After talking to Steve on the phone I knew he understood me completely. I wanted something beautifully filmed and very real that would capture every aspect and the feeling of the day just as it was- my goodness he nailed it! He has captured our whole story.
After talking in depth with Steve, I asked him if I could pick the music for the wedding video and he asked me if I would put my trust in him and let him do it all, so I took my hands off completely from start to finish and I'm so incredibly glad I did!
Not only is Steve incredibly professional but he is also so very kind and caring, he seemed to have a nack for understanding people and there story without really knowing them and all of these qualities shine through in his work. Castlegate films was hands down the best wedding planning decision I made for our wedding, other than the man i chose to wait for me at the end of the aisle!
