I recently opened a 5 year cash ISA with CTB and transferred in a Virgin Money maturing ISA. The set up was simplicity itself, and I love the communication from CTB; they send a text to tell you that... See more

My ISA was maturing and I wanted to split the money up into a 1yr, 2yr and 3yr accounts on maturity. I was unable to do this online and had to open 3 new accounts then phone Castle Trust on the day of maturity. In the event I found that another provider had increased their rates for one of the intended years and so I went with them only to find that the day after phoning CT had increased their rate for that year - had I been informed of the intended increase when phoned I would have left all my money in CT.
Overall I’ve been pleased with CT with reasonable interest rates and the ease of using their app online but the inability to give my maturity instructions online and the fact I was not made aware of the intended change in interest rates - I can only give them 3 stars.

Communication slow . Refused to send hard copy of my investment. Finally delivered an in depth , elaborate , and comprehensive email basically saying
no . Customer care zero . Ridged and pathetic . This is a first . Unbelievable. It’s apparent after opening the account, and being guided to write a review, that their customer service needs to be considered . It’s now obvious that this bank have a cavalier and maverick attitude. I will take my money at the end of the fixed term and kiss them goodbye.
