Taking into account that most of the accounts you see on CatholicMatch are inactive and outdated, the site is boring and useless. I met quite a few Catholic ladies on J2Match.com which was quite une... See more

This site is only interested in money
This site is only interested in money. Gone further downhill from what it was before. Now you can't see how long a person was last online and the app is totally useless. They don't allow exchanging emails even if you are a full member (unlike most other sites like Christan connection) so both members must have an account of you want to communicate. Not a lot of active girls on here as far as I can see.
No Match for Catholic Match
Catholic Match is like a great many other dating sites. The vast majority of "users" were sleeping members ie their subscriptions had run out years ago or they never joined in the first place. The rest were scammers and there are A LOT of scammers on this site.
The forums are described as active. They are USA dominated and only 2 people from the UK ever contributed. They are also heavily censored. My post warning about scammers was removed and other pretty innocuous posts were removed, with no reason provided. Sadly I noticed that the moderators who policed the site were not always honest in their own profiles.
CatholicMatch suffers from all the usual unconscious bias you find on religious sites and there appears to be no line of accountability.
I wish I could give it 0 stars.
Update: I was lured back onto this site by a cheap offer and repeated notifications about a "message" from someone "local", who turned out to be a scammer. There was a change to Terms and Conditions mid-contract and the forums are now so heavily censored; the only conversations to be had are the sort one had at the age of 14. I understand 85% of users are from the US, with only 15% from the rest of the world. This means there are very few users in individual countries outside the US. Sadly customers tend to be treated with disrespect which makes for an uncomfortable user experience. With 1.3 billion Catholics worldwide, the market would prove lucrative to new competitors.

Dishonest comunity that does not enforce its own rules. Mean customer support. The better business bureau got me all my money back and they deleted my profile only saying I could let them know if there wa no gossip about me on the forums.
Email BBB if they delay and don’t wait for a check. Insist your original payment method.
Good for Catholics
Works, but did not find anyone I was particularly interested in having a serious relationship with. Good for Catholics and May God bless you all. Contacted support and they did sort out my issues eventually. Still waiting for a refund for the rest of the 5 mths to drop in my account. Use cc button on bottom right for english subtitles. Hilarious.

I have been a member of this site for 4 months. I have a nice profile and nice pictures. I am a good looking person.
I have not received any emails from any of their members.
I send many emails to members and I have not received any response. The people I sent emails to have not even looked at my profile. The reason I know this is that I get notifications when somebody looks at my profile.
In addition, nobody even looks at my profile at all as I don't get any email notifications that somebody looked at my profile.
If you don't want to waste your money, do not use this site.
