Great job !

I went to the shop in Surprise for a power steering pump and a valve cover gasket. TJ was terrific from the beginning. He made sure all concerns were addressed, kept me informed throughout the process and delivered a car I’m really happy to drive, again. To be honest, I was very impressed with the tune up. The car seems to be a lot more responsive and fun to drive …..and the power steering is sweet
and silent, again.
Impeccable customer service.
Thank you very much, guys.
God Bless.

TLDR: Look no further for an auto-shop. Easily the best service I've ever gotten.
Long story: I have used countless auto-shops and have never been so impressed with every aspect of the experience. Good people, trustworthy, friendly, professional, excellent communication, timely service, and the list goes on.
Huge shoutout to: Colby, Cordell, Nick, Evan, and Corwin. Could not recommend these guys and this business enough.

Won’t do warranty work!!!!waste your time

If you are using a warranty to repair a low end knock in the engine, CBA of Hixson TN. will waste your time because they don’t want to mess with the warranty aspect of their jobs!! I Notified my warranty company of this issue and hope they drop them from being on the call list!

Had an issue but it was resolved

I initially had some concerns about the service, but the owner reached out personally, listened to my feedback, and made things right by refunding the extra charges. I appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction

Thieves

Thieves - totally ripped off - they caught me off guard I went in for a coolant reservoir light and they wound up finding all kinds of stuff that they said needed repairs to a tune of $4,000 and before 50 miles where up the light came on again and then they wanted another $1000.00 which included as they said a genuine jaguar part. the part is a Ford part and cost anywhere from 50 to 150.00 and the labor they wanted was another 500.00 of which the part in right in the front and takes no longer than 20 minutes to fix. I then took it to a reliable local mechanic and he said it was a loose hose and tightened it and now 2 weeks later and a lot of milage the light is still out. Christian Bros play on the name they are legalized thieves. I was severely ripped off. the free transportation is not worth it.

Great Service

Personally, I am always highly skeptical of most shops simply because of the hacks that work at most of them, however Christian Brothers came highly recommended by a friend so I figured what the heck I will give them a shot, just a little background I was a wrench turner for the better part of 40 years therefore my reasoning for not trusting shops. However, when I contacted Christian Brothers, CJ seemed very knowledgeable and showed concern for my needs which as a consumer when I am paying for a service and or product means a lot. I had a few issues that I did not initially realize, and they were identified very quickly the one thing that took the longest and it was completely out of their control was the warranty claim and approval for that but once that was done my vehicle was repaired and returned in a very timely manner. Once again it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to Automotive Shops, but these guys surpassed all of my expectations, thank you and keep up the awesome work.

Capped at 3 stars

I've given Christian Brothers in VB a chance over the last year or so. I have to give them just a so-so review. They are a clean and well-staffed shop, but sometimes I've had to take my car in a couple of times before an issue was resolved. They are very nice and seem very customer-oriented, but maybe a little too busy to put the time into getting repairs done right from the get-go. Also, they seem to take longer than many other shops, so don't be surprised if your car is gone for 3-4 days when you take it in. The worst part of the equation is that they are very expensive. I had a repair they suggested and their quote was over TWICE as expensive as what another reputable shop later the repair for. So if you are on a budget, maybe find another place to go. Just a heads up.

Christian Brothers in Castle Rock CO…

Christian Brothers in Castle Rock CO photo inspections show what and where the problem is. The time and cost estimates are detailed up front, discussed before proceeding, and updates provided through the service. The car repair costs seem mid range - not the cheapest but they warranty their service and have good operating procedures. The comfortable customer area and prompt chauffeur service are appreciated.

Horrible place

Horrible place. Quoted me than came up with a 300 diagnosis fee on top of qoute when I got there. The dealer only charged a 165 dollar fee. They were double. Made appt a week ago and when drop car off the said they might not be able to look at it that day and maybe wouldn't be finished until after that. Guys. It's just a ambient temperature sensor. Not a genius needed. Local company taking advantage of local people. Oh and don't be fooled by here's our contact because they never responded to that either. Manager should be fired

Be aware the major BS from CBA

I’ve been with CBA for a long time, but this is going to be my last time visit for any service. They were trying to charge me almost $600 for 6 spark plugs and $500 for engine filter housing replacement.

Also, be aware they charge you differently at each branch. I’ve tried to get a quote for a pre purchase inspection, and I’ve asked three different branches. Frisco $165, Irving $110, and the Castle Hill wanna charge me $285! They are not franchise chained shop, the price is totally dependent on the owner.

Over priced, unauthorized repairs

They use to be good.

Over charged on a water pump and timing job for a total of almost 1300$. No itemized receipt so you can't tell where they ripped you off, and do unauthorized repairs.

I've attached a picture of an estimated job at 150 an hour should be vs what I received. I will never be back.

Claimed to do hoses for free, charged for them. They were the one that put the hoses on using equipment not recommended by the manufacturer of the part. Hoses shouldn't need to be replaced every 3 years unless done incorrectly. It also shouldn't cost 400 to change a hose. Lied to post- pone past warranty. Didn't honor warranty. Wanted to charge 150$ for what could be visually seen in less than a minute.

Left maf sensor unplugged after service resulting in check engine light.

Calipers that were put on rusted in weeks, part failed before first brake change.

Told lies about things being okay when they were not. Mentioned leak on lower hose months before issue.

Told me they couldn't get instalation parts recommended by part manufacturer. Could be purchased down the road at auto zone.

Told me brakes were metal on metal on the back, next time told me they were okay.

I was given an over priced estimate of…

I was given an over priced estimate of 1200.00 to replace an alternator and belt. This was after I already was charged 150.00 for a diagnostic to be done to find the issue. I called auto zone and was given a price of 289.00 for an alternator and 28.00 for a belt. So this place was essentially trying to charge me 900.00 for labor. Needless to say I got the work done somewhere else for less than half of what they were trying to charge me. Sad thing is that I went here because I thought it was a faith based business and I wanted to support. Poor experience.

SCAM

SCAM. Sent my car in for a 30min diagnostic that was COVERED under Car Sheild. The shop PURPOSLY TOOK TOO LONG to do the diagnostic FORCING me to leave my car there over the weekend. (IF I PICKED MY CAR UP, THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME 130$ FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC).
Since they purposely took extra-long to do the diagnostic, they are now trying to CHARGE me 94$ for it. ABSOLUTE BS. "Christian" my ass. This is why no one believes in God anymore. Claiming to be "christian" and treating people like this.

Honestly, Do not use these people

Diagnostic test $160 to tell me my transmission was bad. Also proceeded to change my oil $179 with magical flush fluid of some type. Why would you do this on a car with a busted transmission?
Anyway I paid the $380 ransom and took it elsewhere after they wanted $9,000 to replace transmission!
Turns out it was a clogged catalytic converter and cost $450 to repair.
Why would you ever use this place?

Their "guarantee" on their services is…

Their "guarantee" on their services is worthless. They installed the wrong part on my vehicle. The wrong part cost $180 plus $167 labor. When I brought the vehicle back and complained it wasn't working right, they charged me an additional $618 in labor to remove the wrong part they had installed and install the correct part. I'm charged for the wrong part and I'm charged for the labor to correct it when it was THEIR MISTAKE ! Their "guarantee" is worthless !!!

Incompetent and Unethical

Zero stars.

Inver Grove Heights location.
They replaced my differential pinion bearing. Unfortunately they used the WRONG BEARING. This failed a few weeks and 600 miles away. Paid $800 to get it repaired the same day.
Returned to "Christian" Brothers with the invoice stating clearly the wrong bearing was the problem. CB would not reimburse me. Incompetent, AND unethical, a terrible combination. The worst business of any kind I have dealt with. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.
