Just done a 5 day (4hrs per day)class 2 driver training with test on the 5th day which ended with a pass , can’t fault the company and the instructors , top class instruction, would highly recommend if you are thinking of HVG lessons

Class 1 training experience
Chris butler my driver trainer was very friendly and made sure I learnt everything I needed to pass my class 1 test. I already had a class 2 license so just needed a few extra lessons to see what extra I needed to succeed. Everything Chris taught me was clear and understanding and very thorough. It was also a laugh whilst out driving so it was a very relaxed drive. Only had a 2 day course with the test on the second day. Passed with no advisory’s. Michelle at Craig Baker Wigan
There are simply no words to pay gratitude to Michelle as our son's driving instructor. He is diagnosed ASD/ASC and was quite simply told he would have to take automatic lessons. However, we decided to go ahead and book manual lessons with Michelle. It was the best decision we could have made. Jack started his lessons in March. It was clear that Michelle was kind, patient and empathetic to Jack's specific needs. She immediately saw that Jack wasn't confident but also that he was immensely safe. She played magnificently to his strengths and after only 25 lessons (50 hours) Jack passed. It was his first attempt and with only 2 minors. We have nothing but praise for Michelle. It's obvious she cares for each student as in individual and takes great pride in their learning. We cannot recommend Michelle highly enough.

Absolutely disgraceful driving instructor turnd up at the wrong house car was filthy , had my lesson lasted 5 mins was playing the music kept snatching the wheel out my hand very unprofessional, when contacted craig baker for refund not interested so avoid using this company if there happy to use instructors like that , my complaint will definitely not be the last disgraceful

My c1 with another company and not knowing where I was going wrong and being so confused, I booked in with Craig baker. Drove 100 miles to Wigan from Birmingham and was so worth it!
2 hour lesson and my test the same day and I passed first time.

I would recommend Craig Baker to anyone…
I would recommend Craig Baker to anyone that asks.
I came up to Wigan from Cornwall, as no tests available for months down here. and even if there was they were £500 for the mod 4. Craig Baker done it for £200 and could arrange a next day test. I went up 300 miles, had the training and passed. Now fully qualified class 2.
I can't thank Craig Baker enoth, don't mess about. Go to Craig Baker driver training and get on the road.

Awful experience
My experience with this company was awful. My instructors lack of professionalism was clear from the start as he often arrived late to lessons without any apology, and he never made up lost time for being late. Throughout lessons, he used his phone, and answered multiple calls, which significantly disrupted my driving lessons. His tone and manner were consistently rude and unprofessional, making my experience very disappointing and stressful. After spending £1600, I feel like it was a complete waste of money and I wouldn't want anyone else to experience this. I would strongly advise against using this company for learning to drive.

I passed my category C1 with only 3 minors thanks to Craig Baker Driver Training. With the expert professionalism from my instructor, Phil Beven, I was able to learn and complete the cat c1 license. Avoid Craig Baker Driver Training
Avoid Craig Baker Driver Training. Despite the positive reviews online, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing.
I tried to become an HGV Class 2 driver through their program and found it extremely difficult. After four 4-hour lessons, the operations manager bluntly informed me that I was not ready for the test. He was rude and insisted that my fifth lesson would not be the test but just another lesson. Despite having passed my reversing test and driven on the road multiple times, my request to take the test was denied. Instead, he told me to return to my agency and book more lessons, which I simply could not afford after already paying £3000.
It felt like a money grab, as they seemed more interested in extracting more cash from me rather than helping me progress. Why was I not allowed to take the test I had already paid for?
On a positive note, I must thank Richard for his patience and excellent training. He explained everything clearly, taught me valuable driving skills and techniques, and put his faith in me during all my lessons. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for another instructor who made me nervous and frequently shouted at me.
The training vehicle itself was in poor condition. It was old and noisy, making it difficult to hear the instructor. With no air conditioning, we had to keep the windows down in the heat. The seat was dirty and broken, the brake pedal was faulty, and the demisting system didn't work, causing us to waste 20 minutes of one lesson waiting for the screen to clear.
Overall, I feel misled and cheated by Craig Baker Driver Training. They seem more focused on taking your money rather than providing quality training and support. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reputable training provider.

Just passed my class 1 C+E hgv test…
Just passed my class 1 C+E hgv test with these guys. Absolutely brilliant everyone of the staff were really welcoming and treated me like a friend they've known for years. Great bunch of lads. Before last week I had never been in a hgv cab never mind drive one. Gone straight from car to class one and passed first time. Even reversing. Lee and Chris were my tutors both great guys and really good at what they do. Realized that my cpc4 hadn't been booked. Spoke to Craig and he sorted it out for the very next day. Can't praise these guys enough. I was really anxious but they were great having a laugh and letting me be my self showing them a couple of magic tricks to ease my nerves actually interested in the related questions I was asking them.
Thanks to Dave, Kyle, and the other Lee in the office for making me feel welcome. And a big thank you to Chris and Lee for their expert advice. Just listen and do what they say. It worked for me 👍👍

Booked some reversing lessons as even though I had my C1 licence, I still struggled with my confidence undertaking reversing manoeuvres. Dave soon sorted that out! He was kind, professional, extremely knowledge and also hilarious! I am now able to work as a paramedic and couldn’t recommend this company more
