I was really disappointed with the CBAT training. I went in expecting a high-level, professional experience, but it honestly felt pretty basic. The material just wasn’t challenging, and a lot of it seemed like it was thrown together at the last minute. The slides were a mess—way too much crammed onto each one, which made it hard to follow along or take decent notes.

On top of that, I didn’t feel comfortable with the trainer. He made comments that seemed racially insensitive, and it made the environment feel unwelcoming and awkward. That’s just not okay, especially from someone who’s supposed to be a professional educator.

Overall, I would not recommend CBAT to anyone looking for real skill development or a respectful learning atmosphere. There are much better training companies out there.

I've been working as a freelance trainer with CBAT for over 4 years, and it's genuinely been a fantastic experience. The team is supportive, professional, and always approachable. Communication is clear, and I feel valued in the work I do. They care about both the quality of the training and the people delivering it, which makes a real difference. I have been a freelance trainer with CBAT for a year training in the Health & Social Care. I have freelanced with some other training companies in the past & CBAT is by far one of the best.

They are supportive, open, honest, kind, hardworking, helpful & thoughtful at Head Office. The boss, Paul Blane has a great passion for this industry, which is close to my heart, having been a registered nurse for over 37 years.

The office colleagues value his principles in their dealings with me as a trainer. The courses are regularly reviewed with up to date information for both trainer and delegate, regular meetings with trainers and evolving new courses & visions of what will be required, helpful & useful in the future for the industry in sensible, practical ways. Associate with CBAT since 2022. Hugely positive experience. Delivered a range of training from Safeguarding, Mental Heath and more recently guiding cohorts of learners through ILM courses which has been a privilege. These qualifications are structured very well and the support given to learners is excellent. I have also developed courses for them and their internal checks before training is delivered is thorough, ensuring clients get the very best.

All of the office team are supportive and despite working remotely, you still get a feel of being part of a team. Special shout to Elaine and Katy (side note - what a joy to work with such kickass female leaders 💪🏻). I am reluctantly leaving my role here as I have just accepted a wonderful new position in the university that I teach and I am moving into the third year of my doctorate in Educational Leadership: both of these achievements have definitely been shaped by some of the experiences gained here at CBAT.

It has been four years of an incredibly rewarding experience working as a freelance associate trainer with CBAT.

Coming from a Nursing and Human Resources background I deliver courses in First Aid, Health & Safety, Fire, Manual Handling, Safeguarding, Infection Control and many more.

We have been with CBAT since July 2022, the training our teams receive is nothing short of outstanding, we have consistency with trainers coming to head office, they are literally on first name terms with our team which is impressive considering were a domiciliary provider.

One thing for me that sets this company out from the rest, is they actually look after you as business, it doesn't matter how big or how small your set up is, they generally want you to succeed in every aspect, we were fortunate to have Paul Blane come into site in first instance and review out entire set up, he's true to his word & has saved us a considerable amount of money in terms of restructuring out training plan which has enabled us a business to save money & spend wisely , the trainers are incredible and know exactly how to get the best out of our staff, sessions are fun & engaging, there's something for everyone!
