CBR are disrespectful liars for no reason

CBR are liars for no reason, and they are disrespectful people who have no respect for customers, the law, or trading practices There was a situation where I was potentially misled about the service that I bought, which constitutes a violation of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. I spoke to someone over the phone about this, they agreed with me that this would be against the law and that they needed to investigate. They then told me that a resolution could only happen the following week, and so I said I could not proceed further until the matter was resolved, which they 100% agreed with (plus on their own accord they even brought up the topic of rescheduling my upcoming appointment for me, so clearly they agreed with me and understood the situation).

Then later in writing, they completely lied, changing their tune and saying they don't agree with me and fail to understand. Why lie? It makes no sense to lie about what you already said to me over the phone?? What purpose does this serve?? You already agreed with me, and I was happy with that. It's a complete slap in the face. To have them say one thing to me verbally, and then to write something completely different, makes no sense.

Then the owner of the company, who was not part of that conversation in any way, calls me and completely ignores the fact that I was literally told an investigation and resolution would only be coming the following week when the director returns, and instead says that I should have already felt that it was fully resolved on the day. What on earth is this?? One person says there is an investigation that needs to occur in order to resolve things definitively, another person says there never needed to be an investigation and it should have already been resolved. What is happening here?? Why can't they just... own the situation, tell the truth, and let that be the end of it?? The owner of the company goes on to say that he doesn't think there is any potential wrongdoing or confusion or misinformation at all and thinks it is not against the law. And then he attacks me and calls me unreasonable and that my point of view is "not right". What disrespectful behaviour. You should respect the law and respect your customers - not say one thing to them, and then go back on your word, AND dismiss their concerns, AND attack the customer for good measure as well.

I had been a loyal customer, even coming back and overlooking a hugely unprofessional and disrespectful appointment where the physio dismissed my medically diagnosed problems and stated "you don't look like you have it. My mum has it but you don't look like you have it". This was completely unwarranted, and completely outside the scope of their medical training and their remit as a physio. I came to see a physio, not receive unsolicited remarks about something you know nothing about.

But unfortunately, its just been a calamity of errors, disrespect, and unprofessionalism.

For example I had my appointment changed, without my authorisation and without any request from my side, ~2 hours out from my appointment. This has never ever happened to me or frankly anyone that I know, at any medical facility ever. Yet they have the cheek to say that I shouldn't be frustrated about this.

Dear V,

Thank you for being a client for over four years. Your detailed review certainly paints a picture, but it’s important to clarify some of the facts surrounding your recent experience.

You’ve always come in with health insurance, and you've experienced excellent service throughout your 20 appointments. Last month, you arrived with a new Bupa health insurance plan, but a scheduling mistake led to some confusion with your appointment time. While it’s unfortunate that our therapist rebooked you for 30 minutes earlier, your subsequent decision to cancel your appointment without allowing us to resolve the issue was surprising, especially given your history with us.

We understand that you received some incorrect information from our call centre, and we acted quickly to have our customer relations manager clarify matters with you. It’s disappointing that, despite this, you chose not to proceed with your treatment that day. While we typically enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy, we waived that charge out of respect for our long-term relationship.

However, after your initial appointment, we found out you have an excess on your policy and you were liable to that charge. Upon raising that charge with yourself you said you wouldn’t be paying for it as we were being misleading. It’s concerning to think that someone who has been a loyal customer would engage in questionable behaviour to try and avoid a charge.

During our lengthy conversation yesterday, you acknowledged that you acted rashly in your initial response and you also confirmed you would be paying for the initial consultation fee. You also mentioned you had already found another physio shortly after your visit with us, which raises questions about your commitment to our services. A sudden change of heart after four years of loyalty feels out of character, leading us to wonder if your intent was more about avoiding payment than seeking genuine care.

We expected better from a customer like you, and it’s unfortunate that this situation has escalated to a negative review. We value our clients and our over 300 five star reviews are a testament to our commitment to change lives in London. We always strive to provide the best care possible, and we hope that you reflect on this experience and consider the implications of your actions.

The CBR Team.

Pain Multiplied, Not Alleviated!

I came here to treat a pec major repair rehab but left in more pain than I arrived, questioning the effectiveness of their treatment methods. Despite expressing my discomfort, the situation wasn’t adequately addressed, leaving me disappointed in their patient care.

Additionally, I was compelled to pay for a session that aggravated my condition, which felt unfair. I hope this feedback encourages CBR Clinic to improve their services and billing practices, ensuring a better experience for future patients.

Dear Shourya,

We appreciate your feedback, however, we must clarify that after speaking to your therapist and the person who spoke to you on the phone, your one-star review does not accurately reflect the situation and is obviously fitting your own narrative.

Despite your claims of getting worse, it's crucial to note that after several appointments your condition did improve, as per your therapist report, however you then failed to attend your final appointments covered by Bupa insurance. Let’s remember that your treatment included a £100 excess as per your policy with Bupa.

After many missed phone calls, we finally got on the phone with you to take such payments. You then expressed for the first time that you were not getting better, despite your file saying otherwise. Had you communicated your worsening condition, we would have gladly accommodated your request for a cancellation, a second opinion, or alternative treatments. Furthermore, you threatened to leave us a bad review if we pursued with the payment your insurance asked us to take from you.

Your decision to not show up for the appointment, refuse payment based on alleged deterioration, plus the threat of a bad review raise concerns about the authenticity of your claims. Our priority remains providing quality care, and our excellent track record is a proof of that. We’re disheartened with this situation.

And finally, out of the 5 reviews you have left on Google so far, two are one-star. It looks like you take pleasure in rating honest small businesses one-star.

3 doctors mis-diagnosed my RSI…

3 doctors mis-diagnosed me with RSI (including a private hand 'expert')... CBR diagnosed me correctly as having neck issues before I even arrived - just from my description of symptoms...

I just hope I remember to go to a Physio first before a doctor when I next get pains in my joints.

Fantastic

I had a nearly 2 year old ongoing problem in the right side of my neck. I always felt pain and discomfort whenever I was swallowing, sneezing or producing a high pitched voice.
I contacted the clinic, and saw Daniel McGookin (still seeing him at the time of review) . Someone, who is struggling with anxiety, and not so fond of communicating, I found him very easy going and relaxed, extremely professional and friendly.
He straight away identified the reason behind my problem (many doctors failed to do so in the past regarding this issue), and treated me at the clinic, and also gave me exercises for home.
Even just after one session I started to feel better, and now after only a few weeks, I seem to be fully recovered, with no pain and discomfort.
I can honestly recommend Daniel and the clinic to everyone who is dealing with any type of muscle pain and needs physiotherapy. He and the clinic are superb.

Highly recommended

If you're looking for a physiotherapist who is approachable and professional in their approach to eliciting fast recovery, I can strongly recommend Daniel McGookin.

With a historic injury that has prevented me from running the London Marathon for two consecutive years, I was pleased to be able to make it around the course, this year, following sessions with Dan.

Each week Dan altered my exercises in response to how my injury had responded the previous week and I soon noticed strengthening in what was once an area of weakness.

I've been really impressed with CBR as an organisation; the whole process has been incredibly simple and effective.

Highly recommended!

Excellent Treatment, Knowledgeable Staff, Great Value

Visited CBR whilst in London on business as my sacroiliac joint flared up from an old injury I sustained around 15 years ago. When it happens it can leave me leaning heavily to one side and forward, with bent knees, in agony like some cartoon caricature, even walking even a dozen yards will leave me in a sweat. When it strikes only a good Osteopath can help me and the one I saw at CBR Clinics was excellent, definitely up there with the best I've seen over the years. I had two treatments and was able to head back home up North, and recover nice and steadily, with much less pain over the next week thanks to them.

Osteopathy - helpful and careful consultation

Osteopath monitors progress and consults with me each visit to ensure issues are being resolved. So far, it has been helpful for a range of cumulative injuries brought on through sport.

Great - I wouldn't go anywhere else

I've been visiting Calm Blue Room for a couple of years for sports massage and for general muscle tension release from my desk job and my less than perfect posture.

I've always found the service and the treatments themselves, from both Bruno and Piotr, to be excellent. They get to know their clients and it's clear they take great pride in what they do.

I would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Back in the game :)

I have been having treatment at CBR Clinics for over 3 months now and I can honestly say that it is one of the best investments in myself I have made. I have had a bad back for a long period which stems from lots of sport and the office job. After seeing Lyndsy Mills my back has recovered and mornings tend to be much easier :) I would recommend to friends, family and work colleagues.

Caring, thorough, reliable with vast appointment times.

I've been going to CBR for a few years now and have been treated by three of their staff in that time - all great, especially Bruno. I love the fact you can book online and they're open late most nights and around on thr weekend too. My current treatment is under Nick who specialises in headaches from which I suffer, not just treating the pain but trying to get me to a position where I don't have to visit too often. How many osteos do that?

Great place to get treatment

I have had several sessions with one of the osteopaths, Danny Mace, at the CBR Clinic in Waterloo and I can't recommend him enough.

Danny is knowledgable and friendly and is ready to discuss and deal with any issues you might have. After seeing him several of my injuries and problems have eased up.

I highly recommend him

Bruno never fails to put me back together

I had not needed to see Bruno for a while, but in the last few weeks a very painful case of shoulder tendonitis got me back to his treatment clinic. I was reminded how impressive Bruno can be. After a few tests, he located the exact muscle that affected the tendonitis, and relieved me of most of the pain in one session. He gave me exercises to help with the healing process and we clarified which other exercises I should refrain from until I get fully healed. The full healing process takes a few weeks, but at least most of the pain has gone away, and I have a routine of safe exercises to keep in movement until then.
