I never received a receipt of payment…

I never received a receipt of payment nor did I get an invoice. The fan arrived quickly so I didn't question anything. Worked about 3 times then something went wrong and the fan kept tripping our electricity. Now they will not take the item back. Spent nearly £300 on this junk that doesn't work. Don't buy from them.

Customer service non existent

Ordered a fan in 2022, £325. Became faulty this year (2024). Very little use. Website said 15 year warranty. Contacted customer services in June and after sending through proof of purchase and a video of the problem they said they would see if they had another motor as it was a bearing issue and would get back to me. Nothing since, emails now ignored, phone line does not work. Trying to work out how to take to small claims, however looks complicated as it is actually a Spanish company!

However, yesterday, we have replied to all your e-mails. As explained, your order is on its way to our facilities. All Casafan ceiling fans need to be ordered from the producer, who is in Germany. That is why, delivery takes longer. This is also stated in our website.
We recommend you to check your emails more carefully to stay informed about the status of your orders.

Awful company

Awful company - chased delivery and they advised that it had been cancelled. Promised refund that day but am still waiting for it!

A fantastic company

A fantastic company. I want to put a special thank you to Victoria, who was so very helpful, helping me to arrange a large order with many different fans. Wonderful customer service from her, and she was so nice to deal with. They delivered promptly and took care of everything with DHL. They have great fans at great prices. Very happy with them; all are now installed and working smoothly. Ready for summer! Thanks again to Victoria and the team. Highly recommended for any of your ceiling fan requirements.

Advertised as a UK website, it's not.

Advertised as a UK website, it's not.
Therefore, you would expect it to be posted from the UK.
They are in Spain which isn't an issue due to the fast delivery times.
I had my fan installed by an electrician who noticed that the light in the fan wouldn't go off completely when switched off at the wall.
All earth & live connections were checked & all OK.
The light was installed in the bedroom & had a dim glow once switched off.
You have to join a Whatsapp group to try & get some kind of customer service which was dire to say the least
No customer service what so ever.
No help with trying to solve the issue with the glowing light.
The fan works well but I had to have the plugin light connector disconnected so that he glowing light doesn't keep us awake.
Not impressed I'm afraid.

I got the fan I wanted.

My fan from Spain was chosen because it rotated slowly at 75 rpm and quietly.
Silent up to speed 3. UPS delivery were keen to charge me taxes for import duty, Ceiling fan co promptly rectified this problem. No fees payable.
Initially my fan refused to work. After much blue air and logic I decided the fault must be the remote, unbelieveably one of the factory packaged brand new AAA batteries , was dead,
My critiscism is that the installation instructions are in Spanish, even though the title page has English translation, the text inside the booklet does not.
For the money, it would have been nice to have a dimmer control for the light, nevertheless, best slow running fan I could find.

We ordered a lamp to add to a CasaFan ceiling fan. The order was accepted but then later withdrawn because I hadn’t bought the fan from them. I bought it somewhere else.

Klassfan

Great company to deal with! Had import charges to pay, contacted Ceiling Fan by e mail on a Saturday & the chargers were paid by Saturday evening, very prompt.
Fan arrived on schedule, was expecting a chrome extension rod but the one sent was black. As the blades were black that was no problem at all, When the electricians put the fan together, the screw cover for the top screws (bracket going into the ceiling) wouldn't fit however that was no real drama, I didn't notice until it was pointed out to me.
The fan looks stylish and has been a real talking point.

RUDE

Ordered a fan in December and it wasn't sent out until January. This fan was held at the delivery warehouse for months. I asked for a refund but company wouldn't do this as I hadn't sent the fan back, but I had never received it so how can I send back.Eventually the company agreed to send a replacement and acted like they were doing me a favour. Eventually in June UPS tried to deliver our fan but wanted us to pay nearly £50. Having already waited 6 months and the incredibly awful customer service we received we told them to send it back. I contacted the company and received the most threatening rude emails in return. I am now in a position where I have no fan and am over £100 out of pocket. I have had to buy another fan elsewhere. I am sure that the company will answer this feedback and make excuses and blame it on me. I am also sure that they will ask me to revoke this feedback and they will sort it out. But I know this isn't the case all I wanted is a refund for an item that I never received which they won't give me. So steer clear as if there is a problem you will not be helped.

Here is the situation, because you are a textbook case.
You buy a fan in December from FARO, everywhere on the site it is written that with FARO you have to be patient.
But this is a detail. The most important thing here is the following.
On December 31, 2020 there is a detail, the United Kingdom left the European Community, whether you like it or not, this has just been a disaster for 100% of importers and exporters.
We ourselves have not escaped this rule. Some customers have waited 3 to 4 months for their orders, and others have not received their orders.
In your case, you didn't receive your order, but the worst thing is that we didn't either!
It is UPS, overwhelmed, which is responsible for this (to date, we still do not have an agreement to take over from UPS).
In fact, from an accounting and fiscal point of view, without a notice of loss or a takeover, how do you explain to the tax authorities where the goods are?
This is all well and good in theory, but the customers, understandably, cannot hear this accounting reasoning.
Because of this, and because we are putting ourselves in a situation of fraud, we have sent you a new fan.
I remind you that at this moment, we are in May, and that the customs administration is still in "skating mode". The email that accompanied your tracking number was very clear, if you have any problems with the customs fees, contact us, we will pay the fees.
You, no, when the delivery man arrives and asks you for 50 £, no mail, no post, just you refuse the parcel, in spite of we warned you!
Result of the race, parcel in the other direction, import fees for us, return fees for us, just because you don't read your email.
In short, it's true that we're terrible, but you have testimonials here from dozens of customers who have claimed costs from us, and we have paid them, so we can't say that we don't follow up on our customers.
But the summary is as follows in your case.
- A fan of Lost so the ugly UPS people have to give us a refund.
That is currently £20 postage plus fan £100
- A fan returned with £20 went, £20 return postage, £10 customs clearance and the fan still not in. That's another £100.
Here the tracking number you will see that tells you no nonsense: 1Z61R0Y0DK36597290.
So to date your case has cost the company £270 for an order of . 127 £
That's right, we don't give support on these cases anymore, because when we did, the result was that we handed over money for you to refuse your package.
So be patient, because when UPS returns a product, you will see your refund reduced by the transport costs, not the first, but the second surely.

Great price, very good to deal with

Great price, very good to deal with. I see one or two people have complained about paying import charges but if the courier sends an invoice just contact these guys via email and in my experience they will resolve this straight away, so nothing extra to pay. Could not have been easier.

Found a very nice fan on the website at…

Found a very nice fan on the website at a good price. Did lots of research on it to make sure it would be right for us. Ordered and payed for it. Got an email to confirm the order and payment had been accepted, then about an hour later got another email to say they had cancelled the order as they'ed got the price wrong,
'Sorry for the inconvenience'. What a waste of time. I was not happy.
I also found that this is not a uk based company.

We understand that you are disappointed, but please be precise.
We would like to inform you that this product is not available for delivery within an hour of your purchase.
We have not charged your credit card.
In addition, we write our address in Spain everywhere, and we don't hide it.
Sorry we have a UK phone number, so customers who want to call us can do so free of charge.
So I'm not so sure that many websites have our level of service, as you just saw a product that is impossible to deliver at the price quoted.
For the record, thanks to brexit, we have to pay taxes for our customers with a minimum of £45, and add on £20 for shipping.
This fan for £150 is not even the price of manufacture.
So it's amazing to see this review on this site when you couldn't have had a complete buying experience from order to delivery.
We will take it upon ourselves to complain to trust pilot for this as these reviews are normally reserved for the customer who are delivered the products.
In any case, it is obvious that at this price you cannot expect to acquire a product of this quality, we understand that this is a pity, but we cannot lose money.
