My experience

never let us down in Tokyo
never let us down in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. I used about 6 GB in 10 days (not a heavy user) my kids and wife had a plan as well and none complainted of failing service. Next year we will use it again.

Terrible service in San Giorgio del Sannio, unreliable at best. Unlimited data means few apps work at all, messaging delayed. Bought 15 day unlimited with 30 gigs, began working as promised on day 13.

Easy to set up and well priced
Seemless to pre-order and set up before we left home. On arrivall to Europe from New Zealand I swapped to the eSim and shut off the sim card card and it was operstional immediately. Easy to use and set up andvery well priced.

Terrible customer service and money wasted
Terrible customer service and user experience. My eSIM stopped working while on vacation. I thought maybe I used up all data so I topped it up. When it still didn’t work I reached out to customer support. After suffering through a very annoying chatbot, I was finally allowed to log a ticket, only I wasn’t even able to input any context. The agent proceeded to close my ticket, claiming my eSIM was working. I proceeded to open another ticket, this time I at least was asked a question a few hours later. By the time I was able to answer (given that I don’t have internet!) the ticket was again closed without action.
I recommend staying away from Ubigi. If you have any issues, don’t expect help, let alone, your money back. There are a myriad of other providers out there, so you’re better off spending your money with them.

Need to restart the phone to make it work
I bought two weeks unlimited data for Costa Rica, the experience was very poor. My phone shows that there is a GSM connection but internet would not work. But if I restart my phone it works again for a limited time. I use e SIMs in every trips with a great satisfaction. This is the first time with Ubigi, never again.
