SHAM! SCAM! DO NOT USE THEM!I completely agree with pretty much…

I completely agree with pretty much everything some reviers have mentioned earlier.

I think it's a scam company. They try everything in the book to not come out. Either for a Gas Safety check! or a fault!

They make it your fault. It's like trying to extract blood from a stone.

They even bring up a statement from over a 1 year ago to justify not under their trerms! 20 quid a month for 13 months and nowt! no a squidly out of them. I feel for the one lady who i think is there as a gesuture taking all the calls. Use another company. At least BGas homecare would come out without fail.

Report them if you can to trading standards! I would but i now livwee in Australia and a landlord trying to sort out my tenants UK boiler.

Refused to fix leaking boiler

Certi told me my leaking central heating (which means I have no heat or hot water) was an “intermittent problem” and therefore not covered by their contract despite me paying for cover for both the boiler and central heating. I’m now waking to a cold house and can’t bathe properly. To. Be. Avoided!

The company Cheats with pricing

The company Cheats with pricing, £15/m paid year then automatically went up 29.50 without discussing. Boiler service Certificate requested and never provided one. When an emergency comes pipe line broken and leaking in bathroom, they say cover only down stairs pipes not upstairs. They charged £720 and no service done for me even £95 excess agreed.

Scam company

Scam company. Tried over and over to get our boiler service done, never call back ever. It appears Certi was struck off on 2019 and HEC the new parent has been struck off by Companies House last month.

Certi UK may be one of the cheapest…

Certi UK may be one of the cheapest quotations you will receive when looking for boiler cover, however they say you only know how good a company is when you make a claim. I would avoid this company as they are happy to take your money, however when a you need them they will leave you 'high and dry'. They will try to do anything to prevent an engineer coming out. Firstly stating there is a problem with your payment, then if your boiler is under 5 years old they will cite it is not their responsibility as it is still under warranty. If you press them further demanding an engineer they will state none are available and blame COVID, cold weather and increase in demand. My advice is pay that bit extra and go with a recognised, reputable company either locally or nationally. It took me 5 attempts to get this company to provide the annual service that was included in the terms of the agreement. Stay away they are not a reputable company.

Don’t go near this company

I can honestly say that I have never written a review of any company, but Certi is the exception. I have had a policy for my business with Certi for a number of years. I’ve never needed to use them until about two years ago. Simple problem of a new ballcock for the upstairs bathroom. The plumber came three time with the wrong parts, he eventually sorted it out ( apparently) two months later my floor basically collapsed under my foot. He has not put the overflow back and it was dripping on the floor. Not our problem from Certi. Cost over two thousand pounds to sort out. Now, most sane people would have nothing more to do with this bunch of cowboys, but I’m an inherently lazy person and was promised that the plumber would never work for them again. Scroll forward two years and you guessed it my boiler broke down and they send out numpty boy. I told Certi we are not having him in the building, to be told we would have to pay £95 for another plumber. Then to cap it off I have an F25 fault which is low pressure or something, I presume a valve is not working. Certi replied that you are not covered as it’s an intermittent problem. Please for your own sanity and pocket don’t go near this bunch of rip off artists.

AVOID.....these are an absolute joke

AVOID.....these are an absolute joke. I paid for 2 years and have just had a boiler issue, they told me the engineer said it had sludge, the engineer did not advise this at all. They left me for 7 days, no heat or hot water. There is one person answering the phones (Suzanne), I ended up paying the engineer direct! DO NOT USE, they are a scam organisation that will always avoid paying out!!!

Scam

Scam! If you haven't got paperwork for a service within 12 months then they won't fix anything. If you want to cancel, they take the premium anyway.

stay well clear

2nd submission with Copy of final E Mail sent to this rip off company

Yet again I throw you a lifeline to continue the contract but you blatantly ignore the E Mail, very strange that when I say I want to cancel you reply instantly demanding £25 admin charge.
Well if that's the way you do business that it is more important to scratch a one off £25 payment rather than honour the contract that I entered into with you, rather than having a satisfied customer who would have paid a further 5 months instalments and perhaps if satisfied would have stayed another year.
This would have been copied into your CEO but alas you do not have one nor does your parent company HEC facilities ltd who appear to be in trouble looking at companies house information.
Take note I have cancelled from today I want nothing else to do with your rip off organisation.

Be warned keep well clear, very nice when signing up but then nothing !!!!!!!!

The company is an outright fraud

The company is an outright fraud
The company is an outright fraud, Certi UK was dissolved at companies house in March 2019 yet they are still taking payments and issuing policies. They avoid regulation by not being an insurance company. The company is now registered under HEC Facilities Ltd. and continuing to operate the scam. If you have been a victim I would report the fraud to Police Action Fraud where you may be able to claim compensation.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid these scammers

We have a Valiant boiler that has had low pressure and a F27 fault code in February of this year an engineer attended to fix the low pressure and did nothing with the F27 fault, a few weeks later the fault was reported again and I got an SMS saying a further call out fee will be applied as its another fault, another fault how, however I didn't argue. After weeks of chasing them up I get an email stating the boiler is BER beyond economical repair.
Paying almost £35 a month for 3 years for what a yearly service where they don't note any faults or tell you about it and then when you put in a claim you are fobbed off with excuses.
Avoid this company and stick to a reputable known insurance provider.
