We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Maddie, Harsha and the rest of the team from Ceylon in the year leading up to our wedding. From day one, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating—inviting us to their Bristol setup to sample their mouth-watering canapés and mains. Every dish we tried was a delight, and their willingness to tailor everything to our tastes made the planning process a breeze.

Throughout the year, Maddie and Harsha were always quick to respond to our questions and happy to help with any requests. Their professionalism and friendly approach made them a joy to work with.

On our wedding day, Ceylon exceeded all expectations. Our guests loved the food, there was a wonderful mix of classic canapés and more adventurous, exotic options, all bursting with flavour and beautifully presented.

One moment in particular stood out: amidst the whirlwind of the day, Maddie and the team noticed my wife hadn’t had a chance to eat due to the business and excitement of the day. They went out of their way, walking across the venue to take her order and personally delivering her meal—ensuring she didn’t miss out on their incredible food. That extra mile meant so much to us.

We feel so lucky to have Ceylon in our city, especially with a new restaurant opening soon. We can’t wait to visit again and relive the amazing food and service. We honestly couldn’t rate Maddie, Harsha, and the whole Ceylon team any higher!

Ceylon and Beyond catered our wedding day at the Barn at Upcote. Given the relaxed vibe we were going for, we felt food trucks were the best way to go during lunch. Following an initial tasting in Bristol where we tried all options, and settled on a menu, the team were incredibly helpful. We finalised the menu with them, and put them in contact with the Barn, who sorted out the more administrative details and their setup.

On the day, the team were a bit delayed by traffic, completely put of their control. However, they dealt with this incredibly professionally, calling the barn, letting them know they were delayed, and putting a plan in place. Once they set up, the food was incredible, exactly as we had first tried it. The staff were so kind, and made the day feel so special, even getting involved in the cricket that was being played on the lawn! Overall, I can't recommend Ceylon and Beyond more, and we'll definitely be in for some more food when we're back in Bristol

We were looking for a caterer for a low-key wedding celebration party. After initially finding them online, we had a video call to discuss our requirements. They invited us to sample their food at one of their public events, and after tasting the full menu, there was no looking back! They were brilliant at communicating with us, especially as we didn't have exact numbers of guests (between 150 and 200). We opted for the street food (short eats and mains) and all of our guests commented that the food was outstanding and one of the best bits of the whole day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Maddy & Harsha.

Where do I start... we were recently invited to our friends 60th birthday festival style party. They hired Ceylon & Beyond to cater for the afternoon and evening.
I must say I was extremely impressed with the servers who quietly mingled with guests offering tasty treats, everything was fresh, perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. The servers were friendly and very polite.
As we moved into the evening, the smells coming from the patio drew us in... we weren't disappointed. So tasty, I wish I could've eaten more, but I was full! I enjoyed everything served. All the other guests at the party were happily tucking in. It was so good I had to message the host next day to say how much we enjoyed the food. I have never eaten such a tasty burger in my life (I actually want the recipe).

Wonderful food and fabulous service. Ceylon & Beyond catered for our garden party last weekend. We required canapes, main courses, including gluten free, vegetarian and kids meals and an evening buffet. All of the dishes were amazing and we have received numerous messages from friends and family regarding the quality of the food, including 'the best burger I have ever tasted'! Service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Ceylon & Beyond

We met Maddy and Harsha from Ceylon and Beyond at Download Festival. We loved their food so much that we didn't consider any other caterers for our wedding. We had a fully vegan Sri Lankan family style sharing feast for our wedding breakfast, followed by street food later on in the evening. Everything was delicious. Most of the guests complimented the food and some of our more discerning meat eaters were wowed by the flavours. Maddy and Harsha were super warm and friendly, and we had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend them.

Wow, what a fantastic caterer! Ceylon & Beyond were absolutely amazing for our wedding day. Everything from the communication to the carrot mash was outstanding from start to finish. The food was delicious, unique and we had so many compliments from our guests. I wish them all the success in the future, they are a really special bunch!

We tasted some of your excellent street food at your pop up stand in Powderham castle last night, thank you very much for being there, sorry I can’t remember the dishes by name but my wife had a delicious chicken dish, the chicken was beautifully cooked to perfection and extremely tasty, I went the chick pea route and would say it’s one of the best I’ve had. You could see that you had prepared and presented your dishes with care.

Maddy and Harsha facilitated an amazing and bespoke dining experience for us and our 80 wedding guests! From the initial meeting, coming to view the unique wedding venue and meeting to come up with a tailored menu that would perfectly suit us and our guests!

On the day the food came out simultaneously for us and all the guests and not a bit of food was left by the end of the meal, all the guests said they loved it!

All the staff also made the day run smoothly by setting up and laying the tables and putting away ready for the evening which took the stress out of the whole day!

Would highly recommended for any wedding or celebration you may be having!

I stumbled across Ceylon & Beyond when looking for caterers for my mum's surprise 70th Birthday party. We spoke to several possible suppliers but not only were C&B particularly responsive they were also very ready to brainstorm with me on possible menu options / and adjustments for the various dietary needs in the gathering.
After booking we paid a small deposit and quickly aligned on a diverse menu catering to both meat eaters and vegans all whilst ensuring 100% nut free preperation.
On the day of the event I managed to supply the wrong address causing some confusion and a little delay. Harsha was very kind and patient with me and still turned up smiling and ready to prep.
Food preparation was carried out in the kitchen on site and C&B served direct to the seated guests.
Days later I am still receiving messages complimenting the amazing Miso Pork Burgers and Beef Steaks!
During the event Harsha even offered to serve drinks (which we purchased ourselves) which was going above and beyond.
Clean up was thorough meaning meaning myself and the guests could fully relax throughout the day.
Won't hesitate to book them again if we're in that part of the country.

Great service, delicious food delivered and served at our own dining table. Catered for 20 of us buffet style and it was absolutely gorgeous and plentiful - amazing flavours - highly recommend.

Ceylon and Beyond catered our wedding for us. We agreed on a menu of canapés, family-style platters for the mains and a dessert table. The food was absolutely amazing and the team were so organised and friendly throughout the day. The selection of dishes offered was extensive and we worked closely with Maddy and Harsha to compile a menu that fit our theme. I would highly recommend them!

Ceylon & Beyond stepped up at very short notice to cater a dinner party for 12 people. The food was top notch and the portions were extremely generous. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We worked with Ceylon & Beyond on a large corporate event and they absolutely smashed it!!
There were over 500 covers and the team got everything out in an amazing time! The food was also delicious and we had such positive feedback from lots of guests.

We really enjoyed our meal provided by Harsha, which was prepared for us on New Year’s Eve. The food was so tasty, so much flavour and the portions were generous.
Maddy & Harsha are so friendly and the communication was great beforehand. Their service was exceptional and they cater for all needs, we would definitely use them again.
