Our specialist milling process allows underfloor heating pipework to be installed directly into suitable existing screed and concrete floors, avoiding the significant increase in floor height associated with many traditional overlay systems. Channels are precision-milled into the existing subfloor before the UFH pipework is installed, pressure tested and, where selected, sealed with a suitable adhesive ready for the next stage of floor preparation. We typically install our pipework at approximately 120mm centres, providing close and consistent coverage across the heated area. Our systems can be designed for use with both gas boilers and heat pumps, making them suitable for existing heating systems while also allowing for future heat-source upgrades. From smaller renovations and extensions to complete ground floors and large residential or commercial projects, our team works throughout the UK and has experience milling a wide range of screed and concrete-type substrates.
