We first began searching for a property in early April, and it was my wife,Kim , who encountered chaparral and began talking with Terry and then Dan .
We arranged a weekend in April to come over and view houses . Dan picked us up at the airport and showed us around.
Nothing was too much trouble for him , his expertise in property and the local area has proved invaluable. We don't think that we've seen a gymnast bend over backwards as many times as Dan has !!!
We were unable on that trip to find anything, but since then, we have remained in contact, and now Chaparral have found us a lovely 2 bed bungalow near Torrevieja, which we are in the process of buying.
We cannot wait to get things sorted so that we can fully enjoy our home in Spain.

I came out with my daughter for three days only to try and find and purchase a property in the Torrevieja region. What amazing communication throughout and after the purchase of a property. Showed us round the area on day 1, day 2 visited 5 properties they had selected for us to view from our wishlist and day 3 completed all the paperwork with the owner, solicitor, notary and bank etc, picking us up from the hotel and driving us around for the 3 days. They went above and beyond to help us. Very personal, friendly service, very professional, knowledgeable about the area and the properties available. I would also like to thank Domus for their quick, professional, friendly and continued service which made the daunting legal process a breeze. Don't know what else to say but Thankyou Dan you were great and thankyou to Terry too. I thoroughly recommend this company and Domus legal services.

I came over to the Costa Blanca area with my teenage daughter in February looking for a property. I found Chaparral Real Estate on Google but also someone recommended them from Facebook. I spoke to Dan and Terry quite a bit before going to Spain, discussing requirements, areas etc. I was nervous about the whole process of looking at properties with someone I didnt know, but I shouldn't have worried. Dan was amazing. He made us feel at ease straight away. We spent the first day looking at about 6 different properties in different areas, getting a feel for what I liked and didn't like. The second day we looked at further properties which were more suitable for me and I found one! I wasnt intending to purchase a property during this trip, it was more of a fact finding mission,but Dan got it spot on and there was absolutely no pressure. From then, Dan took charge and drove us to all the places we needed to go to, it was quite late in the day but we managed to see a notary and had a meeting with Domus Consulting (who have also been amazing). The whole process has been really easy and we should complete in the next few weeks. Dan from Chapparrel Real Estate is still in contact with me and will be collecting the keys for me on completion. I cannot recommend Chapparrel Real Estate enough. Dan and Terry have been extremely patient, helpful and kind and I hope to keep in touch with them. Thank you!

I had been talking to a few agents in the region and then came across Chaparral Real Estate. I had a good chat with Dan over the phone and instantly felt reassured. It is clear that Dan has a lot of experience and as a local, he knows the area well.
I gave Dan my wish list and budget and with in a week or two he was back to me with the perfect property which ticked all boxes.
If there is anything that is stressful, or that you are unsure of, the company will assist, explain and simplify the process.
Dan is like one of those friends who can't do enough to help you. I am glad we met and we had his guidance through this process.

I feel incredibly lucky that out of all the agents in this part of Spain, I came across Chaparral. From my very first conversation with the office, I was given honest, clear information about the property market, additional fees, and the whole process of buying in Spain. I was then introduced to my sales agent, Dan.
Dan called me and took the time to really understand our wants and needs. I sent him a list of properties I’d seen online, and he talked me through each area with such knowledge and confidence. Based on what I told him, he quickly pointed me toward the right locations and even recommended places that suited us far better than what I had originally found. I trusted him completely from the start.
I booked a flight, and Dan arranged a full schedule of viewings. As a woman travelling alone to meet an agent, I was a little nervous, but the moment I met him I was greeted with a huge smile and instantly felt at ease. The very first property he showed me was almost perfect, he had clearly listened but I realised it was a bit too small. No problem at all, Dan had plenty more lined up. That was December 2025.
By January 2026, my partner and I were back in Spain, and this time we were greeted like old friends. Dan found us the absolute perfect property, and we knew immediately it was our future home. We made an offer, and it was accepted.
Dan introduced us to an excellent solicitor, and the whole process was unbelievably smooth. Between Dan and the solicitor, everything was handled for us including helping us open a bank account. All we had to do was confirm details and sign our names. We returned to Spain for the notary visit, got our NIE numbers, and the sale went through without a single issue or moment of stress.
We weren’t even in the country for completion, but that wasn’t a problem Dan was there on our behalf and is now holding the keys for us.
I can honestly say that finding Chaparral was pure luck, and thanks to them, my Spanish dream has come true. Not only did we receive outstanding customer service, but I also feel we’ve gained a great friend. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and that’s exactly what you want when making such a big life decision: an agent you can trust.

I came to Spain in September 2025 and Dan could not have been more helpful, i gave him the details of the type of property I was looking for and he hit the nail on the 1st day and I am now living in my 3 bed townhouse in torrevieja. What started out with watching an episode of a Place in the Sun to conversations with Dan from Chaparral Real Estate, to a visit and finally a purchase of a dream property in Spain. The whole process was faultless. Both Dan and Tracey were there at all times of the day to assist in whatever situations arose. Both before and after purchase. Dan is still helping me out to this day and nothing is too much trouble.

Wow! Never in a million years did I think we would find our dream property on our first visit to Alicante yet Dan made this possible and made dreams a reality! Dan researched what was important to us before we flew out from UK, not exceeding budget and took us to look at areas we asked to view and also new areas we weren't familiar with. How thankful we are to Dan he did this! We then fell in love with our new property! Dan is so helpful on viewings, areas, knowledge is amazing and even arranging pick ups from airport to revisit and no question is a silly question. Little touches go a big way and so appeciated. Dan is always available by phone or message if you forget to ask a question or need advice or even feeling slightly anxious with the home buying process. Terry also super helpful. Dan helped make our dream come true. He listened deeply to our needs which were quite varied as an extended family group. He researched some great options and patiently showed us all suitable properties. We had an amzing experience and delighted we found Dan. Hes trustworthy and really understands the property market and area.

Dan took all the stress out of the whole experience. He showed us around, brought us to the bank, and kept in touch with our lawyers throughout the process. He even organised appointments for us while we were back home in Northern Ireland.

I learnt a few things… if you think you know about buying a house in spain… you probably don’t lol. Secondly..Dan was incredible in helping us navigate the whole process. From
Picking us up, showing is properties, then helping us navigate our choices, assisting the buying process and linking us with amazing banks, solicitors and everything else you could think of. We were blown away by the way he took away all the stress, no pressure to buy and just led us calmly and expertly through the whole process. The final thing I learned was… he doesn’t realise how good he is at this! We were 50/50 buyers when we flew out but thanks to Dan have found our dream home in Spain. Go as strangers, leave as friends with everything tied up neatly! Couldn’t have sone this without his advice support and expertise- thanks Dan. If you are thinking of doing this, go to Dan, as you don’t realise because of the universal listing you only need one agent. As for me I can’t recommend Dan enough. Been in touch since we got back too letting us know its all going to plan!
