I placed an order with Charles Hobson for a Barbour jacket, mostly because the price was excellent but also because of good reviews here on Trustpilot.

The jacket arrived promptly and was well packaged.
Unfortunately, it didn't fit so had to be returned, but I was mightily impressed by how quickly the return & refund were processed. I won't hesitate to use this company again because of their excellent service.

What great customer care. I was able to arrange my jacket to be posted not to arrive when I was away, and it all worked perfectly.

When i ordered the trainers, i was half expecting it to be too good to be true,because the price was £75 cheaper than the Barker website.However it was right enough and i received my trainers today and i am delighted with them.The fact that there was no postage fee was really good as well.Like a lot of people had already said, there was a handwritten thank you note inside the order,which is a really nice touch. Thanks very much Charles Hobson and i hope to do business with you again.

I don't think I've ever done a review however Charles Hobson deserves it. Ordered a Barbour coat, pricing was competitive, delivery was prompt and everything was as expected. When coat arrived, there was a handwritten note from Charles that was a very nice touch. Well done Charles, that personal touch is something that you don't get these days especially when buying online and the first place I'll be going when I'm next looking to buy will be your website. I bought a Barbour jacket but it was slightly too large, I rang the shop and spoke to Charles who was really helpful, sorted the exchange and got the smaller size delivered by lunchtime the next day. This was the best price I found on the internet but is backed up by quality personal service. Will recommend to friends and definitely be back to buy from them again.

I have been purchasing online from the brand web sites directly recently so this independent retailer was an unknown.

Decent selection of the types of garment that I was looking for. Good price and fast, fully tracked delivery service.

The retailer included a hand written "Thank You for your order..." note which was a nice touch and a nod as to why buying from boutique type retailers is always more preferable than from the hyper designer brand group sites.

Highly recommended.

I bought a Barbour jacket and I chose too large a size, large. I returned it and got a replacement, medium within the week. This company is first rate. Not only is the service great and speedy but when you telephone them you speak to a person immediately without the hideous recorded message asking you what you want first. Keen pricing too.
