Reasonable price for such good quality, appreciated getting it built, delivery was great

Fantastic quality and great value – I’m very impressed. It feels like dealing with a proper family firm where customer service really matters. The products are sturdy, well made, and exactly as described, and delivery was spot on. A really positive experience all round – highly recommended.

Great quality efficient delivery and putting up of furniture. Only little gripe we were told we could have had delivery earlier when we put the order in through seeing the furniture at an event . We love it

Garden swing seat very well made and comfortable. Was delivered and assembled on site, which was a huge help. Easy to order on website and very helpful staff when I had a query. I’d say the level of customer service is exceptional. Bought cushions and table to go with the swing and these also good quality. Would recommend this company to anyone.

We ordered item when on holiday from Ingoldmells was told be 3/4 wks for delivery 3 days after we had phone call with date of 31st August witch was 2wk August 30th sent tex be we u tomorrow 10 am 31st turned up 2 blokes was bang on polite and done fantastic job well done 10 /10 from me

Paid deposit and was told delivery would be in three weeks. Garden furniture set was a gift. Company phoned to offer a date which did not suit. Given no other option. Delivery at companies convenience not customer's. Several weeks later same scenario. Summer now pretty much over and still no delivery.

Met the company at the Great British Food Festival in Wentworth, Rotherham on the 17th Aug and was amazed by the workmanship of the products. Bought a potting table, fantastic price and 3 days later delivered.
It is stunning, really well made and transformed my garden.

Terrible company, do not order. Paid a £40 deposit for a garden furniture set at the end of June, and was told delivery would be in the next few weeks.

All they do is phone randomly, offer you one date, and if this doesn’t suit, call you back two weeks later with another date. You can’t reserve a specific slot, or book ahead. Ended up cancelling order, as deliver date was heading into September, and Summer is almost over. Pretty pathetic, £40 lost. Didn’t really seem to care too much, or be particularly surprised when I cancelled order as well.

Garden bench arrived as expected. Good product, very sound, working well in the garden.

Bought 3 seater arbour - delivered in sat , queried that 2 tables were missing and assembler said that they wasn’t included
Emails company no reply but they say that they sent email exposing that it would be sent out by courier! No email more emails sent
Tried to complain as we did wonder was it included ! Call handled very good but manager who she was loading with and assembler who was new not good

I bought this set for my Brother and my Sis. Quality is wonderful, Service very high quality. Family is very Happy.

Because I sent an email concerning g the delivery date cayse I would be away a dashed if you would deliver it o my return but when I got home it had ready been delivered and I never had a reply to myemail

Excellent quality furniture, attractive, looks solid & well constructed. Cushions sturdy too. Seats very comfortable to sit on. Table had, as requested, been made without a hole for a parasol (as we didn't need one).
Misunderstanding over delivery time but driver returned & sorted it all out. Friendly, helpful, especially with getting benches through our limited side access.
Very happy!

There products are so well made and of a high standard

I ordered a table and chairs with a parasol from Charles Taylor Trading on 17th May 2025. The items were delivered on 30th June. The table and chairs are of acceptable quality—not premium, but fair for the price.

However, the parasol (an extra £79) is shockingly poor. It’s a sub-standard, made-in-China item that is not fit for purpose. The materials are cheap, it’s not solid wood as implied, and the brass-look fittings don’t tighten properly. The stitching was already coming apart at the seams, and there were cracks running right through the supporting pole.

I requested a replacement, which took another 19 days to arrive. Unfortunately, the replacement was worse—a different shade of grey, even larger cracks, and a brass-effect joint that was unstable, with sharp edges and flaking varnish.

It’s clear that quality control is non-existent for some items in their range, particularly the parasols. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend this company based on the poor quality of the parasol and the lack of adequate product checks.

My order for a large outdoor table was scheduled for delivery 3 weeks after ordering. I even received confirmation for the exact day by SMS and got a reminder the day before delivery. But on the day the driver instead delivered to the wrong address and just left it unassembled on someone else's front door even though they were supposed to assembly it on delivery.

No one called me on delivery, and I'm assuming no one answered the door at the random address they left it at because it was just left out unassembled in the rain. Now I'll probably have to wait another 3 weeks for it to be re-delivered, assuming it even arrives properly.

Judging by alot of the other reviews here seems like bad delivery is a regular problem with this company. Don't make the same mistake I did. DO NOT order from this company.

I have been waiting for an order from Charles Taylor since the end of April this year. I got told the lead time was 4 weeks! Absolutely terrible service, keep getting fobbed off by their company contact and that is if they even bother replying! I have sent several emails chasing this order but still not received nearly 3 months after the fact. Shame really as their products are usually of okay standard.

I would not recommend this company at all. Very poor customer service to say the least. I should have had a delivery yesterday sat in all day and then waited for a bench I bought in memory of my late father. This meant so much to me. On the original invoice the sales person put *IMPORTANT* regarding a plaque for the bench. He said someone will ring you when they see that. They didn’t. I got a call to arrange delivery and I mentioned what he has said to me and they said they don’t do that. That is fine I can get that elsewhere the bench is really what I wanted.

I arranged delivery and then rang them in the morning just to confirm as I had heard nothing and they said it was definitely going to be delivered. Only it never came no communication at all on the day. The delivery person turned up today (day later) at 7:20am when I was getting ready for work as well as sorting my children for school he had finished yesterday and came this morning it was suitable for him
I assume. Not me! Hence why I arranged the delivery on a time I knew I could take the order. I sent him away. I rang the company to explain she said she would call me back after the school run. What a surprise this didn’t happen and I had to call them again to sort out the refund. This bench really meant something to me and I’m disappointed but I will not buy something from a company that in my opinion doesn’t value customers or communication. I have only recently lost my father and I am grieving and this upset was something that could have been avoided.
