Had the misfortune of having nasty nick wow what a rude obnoxious patronising man he obviously doesn't like being asked to do anything if you ask him he simply doesn't do it he doesn't reply to emails or calls and then shouts at you when you do manage to have the misfortune of speaking to him please avoid at all costs took twice as long as it should have because of his attitude

A totally stress-free sale of my wife's house using Nicholas and his team. We mainly dealt with Georgia Cook, who was excellent. This is the first time we have sold or bought a property online. You do have to be a bit computer savvy, and keep an eye on your emails. However, the process is easy, once you get into how it works. I have no doubt in recommending CCS for any property sales.

Stress free with Nicholas and the team, (except the very last week but not Solicitors fault) acted for us in the purchase of our property in Plymouth, we lived in Wiltshire but wanted to use a local conveyancer. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend anyone to this Business! The team were on it from the get go, with clear updates and great communication! Highly recommend! 🌟 🌟

Great communication throughout the sale of the property.

Jasmine Kennedy was not very helpful and rude whenever I called. Just over a small cash transaction because I didnt have a receipt but I explained which she didnt accept and after wasting my valuable time they refused my case.
Luke infact was brilliant and used to listen and instruct brilliantly.
In the end I got my mortgage done, convencying done, bought house. But not happy with their service at all. 😪

One of the cheapest quotes we had and no issues with response time or efficiency of completing our transaction.

Only issue I had was paying a few £££ more because my estate agent got a quote (which gave them commission) and I didn’t get a direct call back with a quote because it was the last day before the new stamp duty rules. I wanted to instruct a solicitor to get my house off the market asap so I was over barrel!

So i would recommend not going through your estate agent but i cannot fault the service that Chartahouse and Nicholas Hawkins provided.

Used chartahouse because they were the least expensive around by far without loosing the personal touch.
I have purchased 5 houses in my lifetime and chartahouse by far the easiest nothing was to much trouble I went down the paper method not the online option with was a nice touch for someone who is not the greatest on a computer, 15 weeks start to finish which was good with all the extra demands with the stamp duty rush.

Only niggle I had was getting paperwork through your letterbox can it be higher on your next office door.

A very disappointing experience, Communication has been extremely poor, with no responses to emails for a very long period of time, the attitude is very poor and unhelpful, and nobody seemed to be able to give me a proper answer to questions asked

Chartahouse provided an excellent conveyancing service for me while selling a probate house remotely. It took almost a year with two buyers dropping out but Chartahouse supported me through all of it
