They don't want Veteran Traders, I know this because ChatModerator (aka Randy) told me on the phone. Many of us MAGA traders got booted for buying stocks and making a ton of money in 2025, while dan... See more

The material is unbelievably eye opening to me. I learned technicals from a prop trading firm where they virtually only teach breakout trading which is dangerous if not the right market. Things like t... See more

A fantastic site with all the education needed to generate returns. Chat room very helpful as a supplement for idea generation. CM class the best structured and easy to understand format I have seen for technical analysis. Overall a great product.

Trading With Chartpattern.com

Dan has created something very special at Chartpattern.com. Let's start with the most important thing of all - his newsletters. Dan works endlessly to provide us with a documentation of what a professional trader sees in the market and what he believes are the best stocks for his style of trading. There is no bias and there is no direction to buy a particular stock at a specific price. He uses terms like "technical buy area" and "consider this stock here" and each trader has to learn how to enter a stock. This is different from the subscriptions whereby subscribers receive text alerts to buy a stock. Dan's service is more for the person who wants to learn how to trade. So if you read the books Dan recommends, and you keep up with his newsletter, and you follow his Golden Rules, they provide you with a solid foundation which you can build off of as you grow into this business. Another great feature to Chartpattern.com is Dan's and (CM) Randy's chat room, which is really brought alive when they are active and helping traders. Many are skilled and welcoming, and even willing to stay after the close to help beginners. It is a great idea flow and learning place.

I won't go into much detail about (CM) Randy's Price Action class because of the NDA so this will be brief but hopefully still somewhat meaningful. Randy's class was such a humbling experience. For several months he shares with you the theory of price movement, the concepts behind different types of fluctuation, the importance of patterns and location and context and alignment and psychology and stops selection and even how to setup our screens so we can see the most information at a glance. Each subject was presented with clarity and and explained with so much passion that you really have no excuse not to understand. As if all of that was not enough, here is the icing on the cake: Randy keeps it real by sharing his own journey. His struggles, his successes, his own efforts to improve day by day. This class was leaps and bounds more than what I had hoped for and I am forever grateful. Bravo, Randy.

Chartpattern is an excellent service …

Chartpattern is an excellent service for stock traders interested in identifying the best growth stocks just before they make their big move. Dan Zanger has this uncanny knack to find them at just the right time and his Protege Randy Opper has a very good webinar class to help swing traders navigate and profit from the daily and weekly ebb and flow of the stock market.

Top site for traders

Highly recommended. While it may take a while to familiarize oneself with the site and Dan's approach, it is certainly worth the investment. Upon joining, I went through more than a year of Dan's letters and buy points, all of which are available in the archive, and checked the performance. It works. In addition, Randy's work in the chatroom, classes and private feed and his enthusiasm to teach and help others to improve is simply outstanding. His approach, often shorter-term and/or offering alternative entries/exits, is highly complementary to Dan's classical buy points/breakout buying and the two approaches and personalities are combining incredibly well to form a well-rounded offer for traders.

Would be nice to have more robust FAQs

Charpattern.com: 3 stars
Would be nice to have more robust FAQs
> What the oscillator means and how to use it
> What a "sauce" signal is, and how best to react
> What does Dan mean by "looks good"
More advice/training on managing a choppy market
More advice/training on exiting strategies, eg, taking profits, reducing damage pre-stop, etc.

(CM) Randy Opper Course: 4 stars
> Excellent overview of technical analysis
> Perhaps a bit more on screens/watchlists
>> Also, a bit more on specific set-ups & strategies for choppy markets
> (May be more coming), but more opportunities for Q&A
