There have been a few issues with this business, I tried to keep supporting them as a small Australian business but I can't after this last purchase.
Several times I've contacted the company after the product I received looked completely different to the product advertised, mostly colour difference issues.
Each time the business said there's always a "slight colour" difference between advertising and product and I suggested they stop using filters when advertising as it's really making a big difference to the actual garment colour and its misleading customers.
They said thanks for the suggestion they'll pass it along but that's it.
But this time the garment colour was SUCH a completely different colour to the one advertised in the photos and written descriptions and I'd had enough, it's not even remotely similar to the one advertised.
It was advertised as pale mauve yet I received an orange and pink dress.
I contacted customer service, who again stated there's always a "slight variation" in colour, but this isn't a slight variation though, it's a completely different colour.
Customer service said "sorry the dress isn't to YOUR perfection" and that I can return and they'll assess the dress and decide how to handle the return.
This business has a difficult return process, even if you get a damaged or faulty item.
You pay to return, THEY decide if it's damaged or faulty, and if they decide its not tough luck for you, they might not refund if they feel they can fix it themselves and if they decide that can't then you get a partial refund of store credit only, again even if the item is damaged or faulty you only get a partial refund of store credit.
I once received a crochet top that was advertised as a certain size for XL, however when I got the top it was much much smaller and I measured it and the measurements were for a smaller size, I returned at my cost and they sent me a partial refund of store credit because magically the top had grown in the mail and had the XL measurements when they assessed it upon return. I asked them why I had different measurements so how can it suddenly be bigger when they have it, thus affecting my refund amount and they just never replied.
This dress that is orange and pink NOT pale mauve as advertised is the final straw for me, and the attitude of the staff who wrote to me that it was just me who felt "it wasn't perfect enough for me" was infuriating, they didn't acknowledge the issue of colour difference at all, just were like "oh sorry you're not happy enough with it, send it back at your cost and we'll consider what to do"
The dress is a completely different coloured dress. It looks nothing like what I thought I was buying from the photos chosen to be used for advertising.
The dress advertised looks like a creamy dress with mauve stitching for the embroidery, the dress I got is ORANGE with pink stitching.
Not even remotely similar to the picture at all.
The constant use of filters and then using the excuse "there's always a slight colour variation" isn't okay, you're misleading customers to think their buying one colour but receive a different colour item instead.
And these are EXPENSIVE items. Very expensive, they should look the same as they're advertised!
And then there's the "estimated shipping dates" which could be well over 6 months from your purchase date, and no updates in between, and if you ask about your very expensive item you get no information from customer service, they often change the dates as well without informing the customer, the month will just change in the description if the item is still listed online.
So if you buy an item listed as "shipping out from August" they could change it online to October and just not tell you.
And there are no updates at all in between buying and being shipped.
You are waiting months and months and months and they just don't give any updates.
I'm done with this business.
They're dishonest.
And its so disappointing to be expecting one thing and get something so completely different and only to be told by customer service that "it's just you unhappy" no, it's YOU who advertised one colour then made it a completely different one.
I'll be updating this review as the last of my orders still haven't been sent.
I wish I could post a photo of the advertised dress and the actual dress I received so you could all see just how different they are.
