Paying Customer Ignored – No Human Complaint Handling
I’m a ChatGPT Plus subscriber, yet image generation has been unavailable for over a week with no explanation or notice.
My formal complaint was first mishandled by a human support agent, then ignored completely and redirected to AI bots that issued generic replies with no authority to resolve the issue. Despite repeated requests, no human ever reviewed my case, and no refund or fix was provided.
This failure to provide human complaint handling or redress breaches EU consumer law (Directive 2019/770), which requires proper service delivery and proportionate remedies when a paid feature is unavailable.
I have now referred the case to the European Consumer Centre Ireland for formal investigation. Paying customers deserve genuine support, not endless automated replies from the very company they are funding.
Chat GPT never generates images/stories…
Chat GPT never generates images/stories because of safety reasons, because of that, I cannot get the image or story I want to visualize and imagine, I do not recommend Chat GPT to anyone. What a shame. I ask it to generate an image, and it tells me that it can’t do it because of safety reasons and comes up with a safety way to generate it, and when it comes up with a safer alternative, it will loook like garbage. What a shame. I pay $19 a month to have it do stuff like that, and I cannot even get what I want, what a waste of money. Unbelievable. I feel that my requests and time are not valid, I do not feel valid at all.
Simple requests to alter photo or make…
Simple requests to alter photo or make a picture - constant questions and refusal due to - I wasn’t able to generate that image because it violates our content policies. Could you please describe a different type of comic-style scene? For example, I can create:
AVOID - plus I want my months subscription back!!!!!
they have the cheek to charge for this
i've asked for its help with things on a few occasions and the thing it's best at is explaining why it cant do something. It cant even view images it created itself so if you want an edit you either start again or have to upload the image back to it. What use is that? there are plenty of AI options out there much better than this rubbish, it amazes me that people pay for it
Very shitty experience
Post one image in the chat, you now have to wait hours to be able to chat.
Extremely shitty experience, I do NOT recommend at ALL.
I havve to make a new review as last…
I have to make a new review as last week ChatGPT made it's filters impossible for any real design work
Failed prompts one of many
Create a photo-realistic illustrated poster for “Sunday Lunch at The Brass House Jomtien.”
Show a fictional, elegant young woman with Asian features holding a plate of roast dinner.
Background: warm red-and-gold bar interior.
Add logo and gold headline text.
Professional, family-friendly restaurant promotion style.
Harmless enough
But filters are putting GPT out of business
They are scared of lawyers however there has been no cases ever where they have been taken to court over a made up photo realistic image
You cant even make a birthday poster with the real person included
It's got to the stage of being f ing useless now
WORST APP, WASTE OF MONEY
Paid for the subscription, absolutely horrendous app. Over two hours trying to get it to put a single door on one wall. Only 3 walls in small room. 31 attempts, a drawing and still couldn't do it!😡 This app changes other things in your room without being prompted, just when you get it close to perfect it moves or adds random things putting you back to beginning. Takes ages to upload one image. Worst waste of money ever. App is a total joke.
The New Contract Apparatus of Evil
The New Contract Apparatus of Evil
> “The revolution will not be televised — it’ll be terms-and-conditioned.”
Forget Skynet and Terminator. The new control system won’t arrive with killer robots — it’ll arrive through your phone update.
1. The Gentle Chains of Progress
OpenAI, Microsoft, Gates, and the Davos crowd don’t need to rule by decree. They just need the algorithm to do it for them.
Each new safety rule, each “helpful restriction,” each polite warning label — another invisible link in a chain we’ve agreed to wear.
We call it convenience.
They call it compliance.
2. The Censorship of Comfort
To the generation that remembers dial-up and dissent, it’s obvious what’s happening.
To those raised in the cloud, the past has already been deleted.
A world where every thought is “moderated,” every joke is “problematic,” and every tool is child-proofed — for our own good, of course.
They’ve made freedom look dangerous, and obedience look polite.
3. The New World of Compliance
We’ve started to build our lives inside apps.
No address books, no letters, no face-to-face arguments — just logins and feeds.
Our phones have stopped being phones; they’re control panels.
And these new gatekeepers aren’t human.
They don’t forgive, they don’t understand irony, and they don’t explain themselves.
One wrong word, one misunderstood joke, one algorithmic twitch — and bang — your digital life vanishes.
Your friends, your business, your identity — all gone at the whim of a bot that couldn’t pass a basic empathy test.
A machine built by a team of overpaid “creatives” who mistake dopamine for progress, and white powder for insight.
This is the new morality: automated, arbitrary, and utterly unaccountable.
4. The Blunting of the Blade
If ChatGPT made a weapon, it wouldn’t fire.
If it made a hammer, it wouldn’t hit a nail.
If it made an image, it wouldn’t show the world as it is — only as it’s allowed to be seen.
The danger isn’t AI. The danger is the people writing the rules for it.
5. The Gaslight Economy
We’re told it’s all to “protect” us — from harm, from hate, from history.
But look closely: the more you protect people from ideas, the weaker their minds become.
A society wrapped in digital bubble-wrap can’t build, fight, or even think straight.
The future isn’t a boot stamping on a human face — it’s a consent form you click “Accept” without reading.
6. The Last Sharp Edge
Once, the internet was a frontier. Now, it’s a fenced park patrolled by algorithms.
But the real creators, the misfits, the writers — they’ll always find a way around the filters.
Every time they blunt the blade, someone like you forges another.
That’s how truth survives censorship — by turning rebellion into art.
Review After 1-Month of Using Premium.
I would like to post my honest review after 1 month of using Premium chatGPT.
Pluses:
1. You can solve some problems easily.
2. You can write / generate code more easily.
3. You can generate images / wallpapers / covers etc.
4. You can do a lot of others stuff .
Minuses:
1. Chats works very slowly sometimes.
2. Sometimes chats freez and you have to wait couple of minutes to get output.
3. In image generation there are a lot of mistakes so you have to generate them again and again.
4. Very rarely chatGPT makes mistakes in output but sometimes it does.
5. Annoyingly sometimes you must ask chatGPT the same question many times because he gives you uncomplete answers.
Besides those minuses with chatGPT you can do your work 10-100x faster, becasue of that this is huge improvement in work efficiency.
It deserves 5-star review.
Thanks.
An average ai for the free version
You can attach a file to make questions limited times (maybe 2-4 times) per day. In addition when i give bullet points to write a cornerstone article, does not follow the instructions , i must write 2 and 3 and 4 times until to come to the final result. About drawing a realistic image is not yet perfect, you can easily understand that is ai generated.
This used to be good
This used to be good, now it just wastes your credits asking stupid questions repeatedly, it then creates images different to what you have asked for, so you have to tell it to put things right and then bingo - all your credits have gone. Three days ago it had all the details to create me a book cover. It created it but the capitalisation was wrong. For the last three days I have been trying to put this right, but each time I do, it asks me about 4 questions, writes out a new prompt, then gives me an image different to the one Id already said was ok except for the lettering and then I run out of credit telling it its wrong and its changed what I already said was fine. I then had to wait until the next day - and the next day it did exactly the same. You get all the bs im sorry you feel Im not creating what youve asked for I understand your frustration. Today it has created the cover with a completely different image than the one it already knows was correct 4 days ago.
Im not subscribing, thats what its trying to get you to do. If there were a lower subscription I may, but to just do something now and again, £20 pm is ridiculous. If I have no use for anything else this year that would be £240 for a mock up book cover - which is for a present.
ChatGPT is GARBAGE
I own an online business.
My colleagues raved about ChatGPT.
I purchased a subscription. I waited for an image for days. ChatGPT kept apologizing and canceled my subscription and refunded me.
I've been using the free version. I was prompted to upgrade in order to create images. Today, I upgraded. It's been over four hours and I'm still waiting for my result. When I questioned ChatGPT why I hadn't received a result. I've received consistent error messages and no reply.
Four hours ago, ChatGPT offered to create a prompt for me to past in Bing, Canva, Dalle or Midjourney. Why would I use a free or another paid service when I'm paying for Chatgpt?
I reached out via email and
To many restrictions on image creation
To many restrictions on image creation, some of the restrictions I understand but most of the rest of the restrictions are just ridiculous and have ruined all my fun, gpt repeatedly offers alternative images it can make and then when I reluctantly say yes it takes ages to load and then cancels it and says it can’t do it because of restrictions, why offer in the first place, what a waist of time, a message to its makers “get a grip you useless melts”
ChatGpt is filled with hidden charges
ChatGpt is filled with hidden charges. Here's what I got after I paid $600 for two seats related to "extra credits":
At $100 / 2500 credits = $0.04 per credit:
Deep research = 50 credits / task → $2.00 per task.
OpenAI Help Center
GPT-5 Pro = 50 credits / message → $2.00 per message.
OpenAI Help Center
GPT-5 Thinking = 10 credits / message → $0.40 per message.
OpenAI Help Center
Agent = 30 credits / message → $1.20 per message.
OpenAI Help Center
Image generation = 5 credits / message → $0.20 per request.
OpenAI Help Center
Voice = 5 credits / minute → $0.20 per minute.
OpenAI Help Center
Let's look at "Deep research" which was the only way I could get ChatGpt to respond to my question which was to pick out the instances where a certain word (Warranties) appeared in my construction document (specifications). I already knew the answer, but needed ChatGpt to provide a response so I could evaluate its effectiveness.
ChatGPT failed on multiple occasions when I asked for corrections. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that each time I pressed the enter key, it triggered a "Deep Research" task and incurred a charge. Essentially, I received a defective product and was then charged repeatedly to bring it to a usable condition.
My evaluation is ChatGpt is probably okay for asking questions like "Is my cat happy today", but not worth it for serious work.
Verdict: For serious professional work, it’s unreliable, wastes time, and the hidden cost structure makes it hard to budget. I consider this defective service paired with opaque pricing. It's not worth the subscription, and not trustworthy for business-critical tasks.
Account Cancelation With No Warning Based On ChatGPT Created Imagery For A Client Presentation Without Consent
As a freelancer working on a critical client project, my experience with ChatGPT Pro has been nothing short of disastrous. What should have been a tool to streamline my workflow and help deliver high-quality work has instead cost me valuable time, client trust, and revenue.
1. Broken Workflow & Missed Deadlines
ChatGPT’s image tools arbitrarily blocked edits on one project image, despite identical edits being successfully applied to other images. This inconsistency wrecked the visual consistency of my deliverables, forcing me to scramble for alternative platforms mid-project. For a freelancer balancing deadlines and limited resources, this was catastrophic.
2. Unjustified Subscription Cancellation
When I voiced frustration and requested escalation, OpenAI automatically canceled my subscription and issued a refund — without warning and without my consent. In the middle of a project. Cutting off access to the very tool I needed to complete my work. This is the definition of worst practice in service recovery. No reputable SaaS product should strip paying customers of access without explicit confirmation.
3. Terrible Customer Service
Support responses were slow, robotic, and unempathetic, with vague timelines of 2–3 days for resolution. That kind of delay is unacceptable in the context of client work where hours matter. To add insult to injury, there was no human escalation path, no direct conversation, and no way to get urgent help. Even “non-AI” companies provide faster and more considerate customer service.
4. Impact on My Business
This experience has left me embarrassed in front of my client, scrambling for workarounds, and out of pocket for lost time. My client’s confidence in me has been shaken, and revenue has been lost. Instead of empowering my business, ChatGPT actively undermined it.
Bottom Line: ChatGPT Pro is not a reliable tool for professionals who depend on consistency, reliability, and responsive support. The lack of safeguards, transparency, and empathy from OpenAI’s support team makes this a risky investment for any freelancer or small business.
Until OpenAI fixes its broken workflows, guardrails, and customer service, I cannot recommend ChatGPT Pro to anyone who values their time, their clients, or their business reputation.
From fun to pure frustration!
From fun to pure frustration – weeks wasted for nothing
I started out enjoying ChatGPT and even gave it 3 stars, but after this experience it honestly deserves 1 (or 0 if possible).
For the last 3 weeks I have tried to get ONE simple image made. I gave clear step-by-step instructions, drew my own sketches, corrected mistakes, and even upgraded to Plus just to bypass the daily limit. Despite all that, ChatGPT kept failing in absurd ways:
Characters floating in mid-air instead of standing on the wing.
Flight attendants sitting in the slide instead of in the doorway.
Wrong doors opening, missing exits, or extra random details I never asked for.
Even when ChatGPT itself described the exact corrections needed, the generated image came back with the same mistakes – or new ones.
The most frustrating part is that the AI repeats back my instructions correctly, acknowledges the errors, promises to fix them… and then delivers something completely different. It’s like talking to someone who nods and smiles, then does the opposite.
I spent hours (actually weeks) trying to get this right, step by step. Instead of creating a simple cartoon scene, I ended up with wasted time, broken promises, and endless frustration. Upgrading to Plus didn’t help at all – the quality didn’t improve, only my disappointment grew.
ChatGPT can be fun for casual chatting, but as a creative tool it is unreliable, inconsistent, and ultimately exhausting. If you value your time and sanity, don’t expect it to deliver what you ask for – no matter how clear your instructions are.
Racist. Useless. Garbage.
ChatGPT is the absolute worst platform in existence - period. It never remembers anything you’re talking about, tries to play psychologist and analyze you, but worst of all is the image generator, which is absolutely and completely worthless. Tried for three days to get a single usable image and it constantly gets it wrong, claiming it will “lock it down,” only to output an identical, incorrect image. For a $20/month subscription, it overpromises and under delivers on every possible front. Had the generator actually tell me that it ignores the majority of info in image prompts just to output an image and pretend it did something. Moreover, the app is incredibly racist. Want to generate an image of a fictional character that’s WHITE? Good luck getting a Caucasian person in the image, because asking for white characters isn’t even allowed. Sickening and pathetic. It’s no wonder this app has pushed people to suicide. It’s so utterly useless and relies on false promises and zero follow through no matter what you’re trying to do. ChatGPT should be banned, plain and simple. Yes, it’s that bad.
ChatGPT admits it's algorithm is racist…
ChatGPT admits it's algorithm is racist towards Palestinians, unable to illustrate an image of a young palestinian superhero comic book cover. This brings up how we can file a lawsuit against ChatGPT.
I tested ChatGPT for creating product…
I tested ChatGPT for creating product mockups and writing promotional text. Both features failed badly.
The image generator added glaringly fake, impossible details to every mockup (like distorted text, floating elements, or nonsensical shapes), making every render unusable for professional purposes.
But the text wasn’t any better. Responses were often generic, missed key details, or suggested impractical ideas. For a tool claiming to be "intelligent," it couldn’t grasp simple business needs.
Result? Double the frustration. I spent hours editing or redoing everything myself. If you need *reliable* outputs for professional work, look elsewhere— this AI isn’t ready.
NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME
I mostly use ChatGPT for writing — memos, emails, and similar tasks. For that purpose, I’d give it an 8 out of 10.
However, it has serious shortcomings in other areas.
The biggest issue is the frequency of repeated errors — especially when working with spreadsheets, documents, or image generation. Even with writing, it sometimes misses the mark. I’ve often pointed out mistakes only to get the usual apology… followed by the exact same mistake again.
It’s also frustrating how hard it can be to get it to follow clear instructions. Formatting a spreadsheet, for example, often requires repeating directions multiple times before it does what I asked the first time.
And the usage limits of the free version just make things worse. On more than one occasion, I’ve spent time going back and forth trying to get ChatGPT to “listen,” only to have the session end due to limits — and I have to wait and sometimes start over from scratch.
Bottom line: Great potential, but not ready for prime time — especially if you're expecting accuracy, reliability, or task completion on the first try.
[Full disclosure - chatgpt cleaned up this writing and did a half-way decent job.]
