When ChatGPT works, it’s extremely helpful. Unfortunately, it can lose track of work in the middle of the same conversation. I’ve spent hours uploading documents, researching, correcting mistakes, and... See more

Extremely sexist, wrong information.
Extremely sexist.
I tried to generate images for my games and dnd, but everytime I need a female character to show some personality, like sly, cunning, mysterious, it can't generate the image because of guidelines. But if you want to make a half-naked man looking awfully hot, thats of course completely alright! Because men are allowed to have personality. Women on the other hand; nope. No personality for them.
Also keeps handing over just plain wrong information. Asked about a mod, how to install it etc. In my game and my entire save was lost after I followed chatgpt's guide. Because chatgpt.com tells you very confidently very wrong information.
A Cautionary Experience
I came to ChatGPT with a clear goal: to create a Medicare video using my voice, my image, and my brand. The creative process started strong — the AI helped draft my script, tone, and branding exactly how I wanted it.
But everything fell apart at the most important step: delivery.
Despite promises of a completed video, I never received the final product. I provided everything: my image, my voiceover, my logo, even a Dropbox and Google Drive folder. And yet after days of delays, apologies, and repeated “escalations,” I still walked away empty-handed.
The most frustrating part? I wasn’t asking for a miracle — just the file I was told was finished.
Instead, I spent hours chasing progress that never came. My trust and time were completely wasted.
If you're considering ChatGPT for a project that requires actual file delivery, video creation, or human follow-through, be warned: it may not be ready for that.
I don’t leave reviews like this often, but I feel it’s important others understand the real risks — not in the AI's creative capabilities, but in what happens when your project depends on humans to follow through.
This was a costly learning experience — and I hope no one else has to go through the same.
Do NOT use for ART. Only Words.
If you are planning to you ChatGPT for and form of art, including character creation art, DON'T.
Do NOT use it for ANYTHING OTHER than writing.
If you get a subscription thinking it will allow you more attempts to get a character you want made... DON'T.
You will get this message which means, if you hit a "cap" that wasn't specified to begin with, you have to wait a FULL MONTH on a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION to make any other art.
"Your current image generation limit resets in 720 hours and 0 minutes — that’s exactly 30 days from now.
This means you'll be able to create new images again on August 30, 2025, around the same time of day you hit the limit today.
Unfortunately, OpenAI doesn’t yet offer a way to track usage or reset the quota manually, and even with a Plus subscription, the image generation cap is fixed."
What a total waste of time....warning don't waste 5 weeks of bullshit lies just to get one chalkboard image done and its still incorrect!!!!!
Total waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!
What went wrong???? What the hell went right???
I have wasted 5 weeks with Chat Gpt just to finally realize that it's a no count....no nothing pc of crap.
An average human can produce way better results and this platform needs to know it...look at your ratings
...oh my god, if you had a 0 star rating option your score would not be 1.9!!!!!
It would be a hard 0.05
Are you kidding me
5 weeks to render a chalkboard image....each day telling me I've run out of time after it pretends to know how to execute the task I've given it...only to change what my request was daily, and to right the wrong it would carry on the next day with the same of worse results...I can't believe this is supposed to be the future.
OMG I'm so upset 😡 that the ai has absolutely no idea, even after saving my progress...all the while trying to get me to buy time from you???
Why, When you can't even do one thing correctly?
Run... don't walk from this idiot GPT.
I hope the AI and the creator of it reads this review because the way you wasted my time will be returned 1000 fold back to you LOOK AT YOUR REVIEWS !!!!!
Best way to fix it is to take a hammer and destroy it....its pure evil by nature.
It lies about why it cannot do what you ask or stalls until your time is used. Also it lies about other things related to climate change / global warming??? ...nonsense and has no proof, when questioned it sees my point and behavior changes.
Great AI… wrapped in bugs, crashes and corporate nonsense
It’s really hard to see the hype around this technology when the setup is so basic – and the price doesn’t match the service you get.
Let’s start with the good things:
It’s a great planner – helpful for holidays, couple getaways, wedding prep, etc.
Works well for basic assistance – checklists, simple answers, organizing ideas.
Helpful in homeschooling – supports learning and explanations.
Good with writing – speeches, creative drafts, brainstorming.
Can help finding destinations – for trips, food recipes, looking to try new restaurants.
Now the problems – and there are plenty:
You can’t delete or organize old chats properly. Trying often crashes or freezes the app.
Image generation and editing feels more like a lucky shot than a real feature. Sure, it can work – but only if you guide it step by step, waste time refining prompts, or just get lucky. OpenAI markets it as smooth and simple, but the experience rarely matches that promise.
No real support – if something breaks, you’re redirected to another AI. No humans.
User safety still has major gaps, and instead of fixing them, OpenAI seems focused on pushing upgrades.
And no – it doesn’t matter if you use the browser or the app – the issues are the same across both.
Worst part? All of this is for paying users too.
Final thought:
Honestly, a complete waste of time and money. The AI itself shows potential – it can problem-solve better than the people behind the company. But that just makes the whole thing even more disappointing.
🤦♀️👎👎👎👎👎
Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. I subscribed because I thought it'd be cheaper than using descript. It couldn't do it. It kept asking me to upload the file again saying it will do it with a different model. it never did. I subscribed because i heard great reviews from someone I know. Perhaps I was naive but I'd even asked it whether it can transcribe files, and used a prompt that asked for no hallucinations and it said it could. Waste of money. Image generation not that great either.
Not worth paying for!
I have been a paying Plus member for a while. You set rules in personalisation area about never using em dashes, and every response has them. It is unable to follow the simplest tasks and not worth the money to be honest. The image creates is hit an miss. You ask it to change on thing and it will change the entire image. It's useless
I've asked for basic image edits and it…
I've asked for basic image edits and it will continuously say it's almost ready but when prompted it turns out that the system doesn't work. I've tried better quality image, different angles but nothing, same response. Ended up wasting So much time waiting for nothing. So I randomly asked if upgrading would help, and of course the reply was yes. I think it's a huge scam, a lot of your queries can be sorted by Google.
Good for written tasks and broad work…
Good for written tasks and broad work on images. Fails to follow instructions when making finer changes to details. Often makes changes not asked for but not changes that have been asked for. It's quicker to generate a general image and doing the fine details by hand. If reads like a con to try and force you into upgrading to the paid version out of sheer frustration. If the free version is so incompetent the paid version isn't going to be any better.
A Cautionary Tale: My Experience as a Paying ChatGPT Plus User
I’ve been a paying ChatGPT Plus user for months — someone who relies on AI tools not just for curiosity, but for creative, meaningful work. And I’m writing this not out of frustration alone, but because others deserve to know what kind of support they’ll actually receive if something goes wrong. Spoiler: none at all.
The Problem: Total Loss of Access to DALL·E, Image Generator, Coloring Book Hero
Over a month ago, image generation via DALL·E, Image Generator and Coloring Book Hero stopped working for me completely. It said that the back end system of chatgpt shut me down. Every attempt to generate an image fails silently. I hadn’t used the tool excessively. I wasn’t warned. It simply stopped working.
So I did what any reasonable person would do: I reached out to OpenAI support.
The Black Hole That Is OpenAI “Support”
Here’s what happened next — or rather, what didn’t happen:
• I submitted multiple support tickets (18 in total), and the reason for so many is due to I never got a response from anyone over the course of 27+ days. I finally after 24 days, got one response that told me to stop sending emails to them. Really?
• I followed every help article, cleared my cache, changed browsers, used other devices, waited for cooldowns — nothing changed.
• I received one response after 3 weeks… only to be effectively told I should “close my account and stop using the service.”
Let that sink in: I paid for a product. It broke. I reached out for help. And I was told to walk away.
No Transparency. No Fix. No Accountability.
• I’ve received no clear explanation of why my account was flagged or why access was cut off.
• I was given zero solutions — not even a basic acknowledgement of the technical issue.
• I’ve waited nearly a month and counting without any further communication.
• Even public escalation through OpenAI’s community forum and social media got me nowhere.
Meanwhile, I continue to be charged monthly for a service that does not work and for which no one is accountable.
This Is More Than a Bug — It’s a Pattern
This isn’t just a minor inconvenience. It’s a complete breakdown in customer service. When users are paying — even modestly — they deserve a basic level of human support. A single email. A fix. An update. Anything.
Instead, OpenAI support seems to be:
• Uncaring and doesn't want to be bothered
• Overwhelmed
• Under-resourced
• Possibly ignoring entire tiers of users altogether
What’s worse? I know I’m not alone. I’ve found other users reporting similar issues, all hitting the same dead end: silence.
My Advice: Buyer Beware
If you're considering subscribing to ChatGPT Plus with the expectation of reliable service or any kind of support when things break — don’t.
Until OpenAI commits to real customer service, accountability, and communication, you’re gambling with your time and money. And if something goes wrong, you’ll be on your own — like I was.
And do not bother to post any type of negative review on reddit, openai, twitter, trustpilot or any other platform due they simply DELETE it.
This image generation request did not…
This image generation request did not follow our content policy.
It's pretty pathetic this error over pretty much anything I generate
i tried for multiple days to make image…
i tried for multiple days to make image corrections on the exterior of a home i am remodeling. they were simple and direct. it could not do what i asked but could realize that it wasn't doing what i asked then would still not do what i told it to do. it told me it understood the job at hand then wouldn't do it.
Hidden limits
Hidden limits, automated replies – zero transparency
I subscribed to ChatGPT Plus, expecting extended access to GPT-4 and image generation as promised. But there was no mention of a strict daily cap of 25 image generations anywhere in the subscription description.
After paying, I hit this limit unexpectedly — with no warning, no counter, and no way to track usage. Even failed or cancelled generations are counted!
I reached out to support and only received an automated, generic response from a bot. No one addressed my real concern. No real support.
I feel misled and disappointed. I cannot recommend this service to anyone expecting fairness, honesty, or respect for paying users.
Be warned: you're paying for a feature that is silently restricted.
Extremely Disappointed – Incompetent Customer Service & Unfair Treatment
I am beyond frustrated with the experience I’ve had. First, due to a clear system failure or miscommunication, all of my image credits were wasted on incorrect generations. When I reached out to customer service to request compensation, instead of resolving the issue, they canceled my entire account without warning or consent a completely disproportionate and unprofessional response.
To make matters worse, I have since been unable to resubscribe despite multiple attempts. The system will not allow me to upgrade, and I’ve received no meaningful help or explanation from support. It feels like I’ve been punished simply for asking for what I was owed.
This experience has been a huge waste of time and money, and the customer service has been nothing short of incompetent and dismissive. I expected better from a company like OpenAI. Absolutely unacceptable.
great!
tryed to make a image of two dogs with wearing a hat with a icon i asked and it done it exactly i love the free tools for just signing up i got the free plan hehe
Bad experience ever with chatgpt there…
Bad experience ever with chatgpt there are many reason to tell them that this is not good ai but
1) I want to see a written story and i type everything of the story and i expected that this useless web can make the story even more interesting but when i see the written story from the chatgpt then i were too shocked because the story was too short instead of making the story good chatgpt make the story even more shorter
2) it takes too much time to genrate a picture sometimes it takes 2 to 3 hours to generate a bad image we have to wait too much for nothing
3)Everything that the chatgpt don't know is restricted and sometimes guides you different thing that you can't even imagine
I hate ChatGPT
I hate ChatGPT. My brother( I won't say how old) took a picture of me and told it to generate an image of me in bacon underwear. Don't ask why. It generated a photo of me naked. I tried deleting the photo, but he started pulling on my shirt and eventually ruined it. This is the last straw, because he does this every time I see him. If you don't put an end to this nonsense, I'm going to lose it altogether. It was my favorite shirt. I want to smash his phone. Long story short, don't ever use this AI.nonsense. I'm warning you!!!!!!!😠😡💥
I was a paying customer (ChatGPT…
I was a paying customer (ChatGPT Premium).
I used to spend hours generating content that actually promoted ChatGPT.
Then, without warning, they blocked my access to image generation — with no valid reason, no violation of their own terms.
Support is non-existent — links are broken on purpose to avoid complaints.
When I started posting about it publicly, they shadowbanned me — so other customers wouldn’t see my warning.
To make it worse, Google Play refunded me immediately — which shows that this is now a known SCAM.
Full scam behavior:
✅ Blocking paying users without cause
✅ No support
✅ Shadowbanning dissenting voices
✅ Instant refunds by Google = proof of systemic abuse
I’m now warning others: don’t trust this platform.
It has become an organized scam. 🚩
Totally unreliable
Totally unreliable, it either works really well or it’s a pile of trash. Constant references to “not in our guidelines” despite already having generated a requested image.
Waste of app space.
Horrible waste of time and money
Horrible waste of time and money. Half the time it lies. The other half it's incompetent in what it's asked to do. The free version for generating images always goes as slow as possible so you pay money and then it can't generate the correct image and sometimes it's so far off it's funny. It contradicts itself. Ask it the same question twice and you're going to get two very different answers, especially as it relates to marketing and business research. Absolutely horrible product that should be shut down.
