This company is a scam. Multiple charges for one search…Most of the complaints here tell you the same.
Customer support response: "As per system check, you have an active subscription, which is why the renewal fee was charged. I would like to inform you that we have cancelled your subscription and processed a refund of $42.26 for the renewal charges to your account."
My reply: "There was no obvious sign that it was a subscription, I selected 1 search 'service' at the time, believing that was the price for one search only. The way the website is designed leads people to believe this is the way it works. The word 'subscription' only appears in the Terms & conditions section, which are accessible through a link. So please clarify: the 1 search service means 1 search per month? Also, I never downloaded the app, I used the service on my personal computer. How could I cancel the subscription myself? There is no 'sign in' or anything related to my account on the website's initial page. This seems more like a 'choice' than simply bad website UX design."

After seeing additional charges on my visa account I phoned and emailed the company to request a refund for services that I did not need or want.
I was told I would get a refund but instead was charged again the day after I tried to contact them. This seems real suspicious as to if this is a legitimate business. It says scam all over it. I unsubscribed to them and was still being charged for services I did not ask for.

Misleading, scam. They continue to charge your account without providing any information.

I'm deeply unimpressed with this company. In hindsight, it's an obvious scam.
Cons:
1) Bad Messaging: The company cannot seem to figure out how long a scan should take. I've seen estimates provided by company representatives ranging from 2-72 hours. The page showing an active scan mentions an estimate of 24-48 hours in one spot and 48-72 hours in another. They also don't make clear in their FAQ that you can theoretically cancel your membership online. It only mentions contacting support (who are somewhat less than helpful - see point 7).
2) Usability: The usability is really awful. Once logged in, it should be immediately apparent how to get to account information. "Launch app" does not clearly indicate that it will open a browser window or lead to anything helpful on a non-mobile device. I had no idea how to see the currently running scan short of using the emailed link. After clicking on everything I could find, I finally found a link to search history that appeared in the top navigation bar on the FAQ page.
3) Exorbitant Pricing: Confining to a 3 mile radius for over $20 is ridiculous, especially coupled with the generous offer to expand to 19 miles for $49.99 (likely not including their mystical tax rate - see point 4).
4) Pricing Transparency: The pricing is not remotely transparent. The advertised price plus tax (in both my jurisdiction and the company's listed jurisdiction) does not add up to the charged price. Buying a single scan signs you up for a "membership." I cancelled within a few days so I cannot respond to their allegations on other reviews that you'll never be charged multiple times for a single scan. I will note that when I cancelled it informed me my account would remain active through the end of the billing cycle and that if it were a one and done charge, there would really be no membership to cancel.
5) Search Time: There is no reason the search should take as long as it did, especially for a radius that small. This is especially true given that no "AI" or "facial recognition" exists anywhere near the search results I saw. The actual mechanism that the search uses is laughably basic and would run in minutes (more details in point 6).
6) Product needs work: The actual search function is a bit of a joke. I know for a fact the person I searched for has multiple profiles, all of which this service failed to locate. I found them through another service that was cheaper, transparent in its pricing, and somehow managed to search the entire United States in less than an hour (compared to the 40 hours this service took). Considering all the matches look nothing like the photos I provided but all match the name given and age, it's laughable to argue that this service uses anything approaching "AI" or "facial recognition." It's string and integer comparison and nothing more. That can be run in minutes even over large data sets. This company seems extremely predatory, claiming to provide services it is either too incompetent to provide or has no intention of trying to provide. If the search had provided even one result by another name or made the least attempt to order matches by similarity of appearance, I wouldn't feel so confident making this assertion.
7) Customer Service: I brought up several of these points in an email before the scan finished running and requested a refund. To their credit, they got back to me in about 13 hours. However, given how predatory the rest of their practices seem, I don't find it a coincidence that they did not respond until after the scan completed. They also failed to respond to any of my inquiries beyond indicating that the scan I said I no longer wanted had been completed with a link to where I could see results. (I also requested my membership be cancelled, asked for clarification on their pricing, and pointed out their own company could not figure out how long a scan should take.) Actually, I'll be fair, the representative did say that the standard cost for a single search was $21.13 and there is no discount applied in the transaction. But this makes even less sense. The advertised price was $17.99 at the time. This would make the applied tax rate about 17.45%. However, the representative also claimed that there was no discount applied, but the advertised price was a discount. Standard pricing was $35.98.
8) Inaccurate Math: The company can't do basic math. On the main page: $29.99 is not 60% off $59.98, nor is $34.99 68% off $69.98. Even using the non-discounted single search price as a baseline, the percentages are still wrong.
Pro:
1) The only smidgen of credit I will give is that it produced results outside the indicated radius. This would have been nice if the rest weren't so damning. And all the results were within about 25 miles or so.
Bottom line: Save your money and a headache and look elsewhere.

I’m adding to my review after a response from the company asking me to write to them if I’m a genuine customer.
I did twice, I am waiting for a reply to my last email about how you were unable to comprehend the issue and did not deal with it. That was the 10 September 2025.
Rather than asking people to write again about their complaint why not cross reference your unanswered complaints?
This company cannot distinguish races if you have a white man, bald, with black facial hair how can the closest match be a black man who is 50 shades darker who has hair? That’s not a close match at all based on a number of photographs.
It becomes a joke.

I paid for 1 scanner, that's it, and i canceled my subscription already 1 month ago, and today i receie a charge for more than 60 USD, why? i canceled my subscriptiona long time ago, and i thought just 1 pay, nor more than that, and also I cannot delete my account, the worst application.

Currently mine has been stuck at 33% for a few hours, is this normal?

I paid for the service and then the side doesn’t allow me to log in telling that information (email and password) is incorrect. Even though it is correct! No one is answering the email at all. Waste of money.

Very bad! They don’t respond to their email. I requested a refund because the tool is taking forever and I am no longer interested

Left email for refund no replies. Literally provided no information but took almost $70. This scanner is almost a scam. I can’t believe I fell for this. Hopefully they reply to my email and provide refund..

Multiples charges directly for 1 Search... And they system is very very bad. It only filters by name... Very disappointed for the charges...
They refunded me those transactions... In my case, the person I tried to find was black and only found white people... That's why I said it's not using face recognition... But they refund you if there is a problem... On that point it's good.... Giving 3 stars because of the support.... The search didn't work on my case.

As with many of the other reviewers, I tried reaching out to the company and never heard back. I never got results on my search. This company is a scam! They charged me for things that I didn’t even select. I requested a refund within a short time of running the scam scan and seeing what they charged my credit card. I never heard back from them. Not to mention, after four business days (which it shouldn’t matter because this is AI based), I had not received any results on my scan.

I’ve still not received my results after paying for a search plan 8 days ago. I would like a refund if I don’t receive my results. I have already called your customer service number. I just keep getting cut off when I explain the issue.

I paid about 40 euro for a scearch. The search failed to find the one account i knew about but instead found something totally unrelated. Its a waste of money.

Tried to charge my card multiple times, after payment went through and is now showing on bank statement didn’t let me complete search and asking me to pay MORE money for another search I never received the report for. If someone could please contact me asap about this to refund my money I’d be most appreciative.

Money grab company. They don’t even ask for phone numbers.

Tried two times, didnt get any results eventhough im sure it should have. Also the people it showed were the exact same eventhough I used different names, photos and locations in the two searches.
Up until this point i was slightly disappointed but it gets worse.
The service is expensive for one time use. But now they keep writing of of my creditcard every few weeks. I tried contacting them but that seems to be impossible so i had to block my card sadly. Its just plain thievery
