Publication of Personal Data in breach of UK GDPR

This company publishes personal data of individuals in violation of UK GDPR, please don't use or deal with businesses who break the law. They claim they claim "We are a data controller under the GDPR and our basis for publishing includes article 89 of the GDPR which covers archiving purposes in the public interest." In fact the real purpose of the processing is stated in their privacy policy which states "We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 736 of the UK Companies Act 1985." CheckCompany.co.uk is a front end, falsely claiming to be "in the public interest", but in reality acting on behalf of another party to sell your data.

Great search for company / companies / director persons people

Great search for company / companies / director persons people

- much easier to search than official uk gov page for companies "beta companieshouse gov uk"

- the posting from reviewer "Pink Sea anemone" about privacy is interesting, - to note is that anything that is held and visible under the official Government UK companies register is public information already

(note this "checkcompany" is a different web page from "companycheck" ... !)

This website has published highly personal information for everyone to see without my permission

This website has published highly personal data without my knowledge or consent about me to the entire digital world. After someone got hold of my personal details and sent it to companies house inappropriately I then saw the same data show up on checkcompany.co.uk to my horror, showing the entire internet world my age, date of birth, exact home address, nationality, employment status, the lot. Everything needed for an identity thief to have a field day, everything possible for a potential employer to discriminate on the basis of age, and everything possible for anyone who has put me at risk to find me and turn up at my home. It is an abhorrent violation of my right to privacy and breaches data protection laws in EU concerning internet data. Having already contacted the search engines to remove these links under the EU law and this not yet having been done I have had to approach this poor excuse of a website to insist that under "Article 12 of the Directive 95/46/EC the EU" which gives a legal base to internet protection for individuals that they immediately remove me from their website and all internet links to their website under my name but they have consistently ignored me so now I will need to report them to the Information Commisioner's Office and take action against them for failing to put this right. Disgusting. My personal private life is not in the public interest, I am not a celebrity, criminal or politician, just a human being with a right to privacy under EU law and this atrocious website has breached my rights despite my repeated messages to put this right.
