If you see an infomercial that looks great, make sure it is not delivered by FedEx

Ordered Chef Preserve on Dec 19, 2025. Was sent an email Dec 29, stating my product was undeliverable because I wasn't home to sign for it. But I was told I could have a replacement gift valued up to $100 if I agreed to pay another shipping and handling charge. I just want my money back, but they refuse to refund my card. What if I take a replacement gift - will they say they tried to deliver that one too, and take it back saying I wasn't home to sign for that one also. This has happened twice - both times with FedEx. Make sure if you order something that looks like a great deal, that it's not delivered by FedEx - they are thieves!!

Item purchase charged but never shipped or delivered

I ordered and was charged on November 28,2025. I never received an order confirmation or delivery information. There is no phone number to call, and all of my emails have gone unanswered. At best, this is the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. At worst this is a scam.

I am having the same issues that many on here are having. I ordered this. I haven’t received a shipping confirmation and I can’t get a response from their customer service. I’m going to dispute this charge with my credit card.

LOVE THIS MACHINE

LOVE THIS MACHINE! I understand most of the reviews are about shipping. Mine took about two weeks or more, but arrived. I LOVE IT! Mine works fine so far. I use for both freezing and in my fridge as well as dry good in the cupboards. I need to order more bags. Would love to see vac-seal jars🤞. Use your brain- strong smelling items might hold in the bags even after washing! Just use this bags for those items.

Ordered this as a Christmas present a week before Christmas with a 2-3 business day shipping timeline. Never got an update on shipping and no tracking information is available. Item still has not arrived. Shipping states "Waiting for details."

Seal did not last long

Seal did not last long. Tried to use the bags to store different size cuts of onion and garlic - have them ready for cooking based on what I needed for the recipe. Remove them and then reseal.
Idea worked once or twice then the seal failed. Did not notice it until the garlic and onions went bad. Had to throw them out. Now can't get rid of onions and garlic smell out of the bags. Can't reuse them. Same happen with some other foods I had used the bags for. Very disappointed 😞 😞 😞. Tried soaking and washing them several times. Bags still retains the smell.

Ordered on 12/12/25 and site indicated…

Ordered on 12/12/25 and site indicated that that I would receive an email with the tracking number and the order would ship in 2-4 business days. Called the company twice starting 12/16/25 and left message and no response. Sent text asking about my order including order number and still no response. I called my credit card issuer and filed dispute on the charge. I considered ordering one from Amazon but after reading these reviews I am glad that I did not.

3 bought, 2 shipped, no reply, out $79 plus tax

I ordered three of the vacuum sealers, but the company only shipped me two meaning I’m out $79 plus tax. I’ve contacted the company five times and they have not even responded to email or text or anything.

This company is highly disreputable.

JUST DON'T!

ADDENDUM SEVERAL MONTHS LATER: THE COMPANY EMAILED ME, BASICALLY BRIBING ME WITH FREE PRODUCTS IF I'D REMOVE THIS REVIEW. I DID EVENTUALLY GET MY REFUND, BUT IT TOOK MORE THAN A MONTH OF IGNORED EMAILS AND FRUSTRATION.
MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: COUNT ME AMONG THE MANY REVIEWERS WHO ARE DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE A SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. THE PRODUCT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME. I COMPLIED WITH ALL THE PROVISIONS OF THAT GUARANTEE, INCLUDING SENDING PHOTOS OF THE DEVICE AND PACKAGING AND MAILING THE RETURN. IT'S BEEN A MONTH SINCE I INITIATED THE RETURN. USPS TRACKING SHOWS THAT THE RETURN ARRIVED AT THEIR FACILITY TWO WEEKS AGO, AND NOW I CAN'T GET ANYONE TO REPLY TO MY EMAILS. STILL WAITING FOR MY $150.

Not recommended for vegetables

I found that the medium bags did not always work well. Some did and most didn’t even with one item
On the bag. I also found most of the vegetables were wet & smelly after a few days even though all of the air had been sucked out. It probably works better with items you want to put directly into the freezer. I through out a lot of vegetables that normally would have been still good after a few days even though very smelly & wet.

RETURNS

this company is terrible on returns. i purchased the product before i read the reviews. chatgpt warned about sealer not working as well as a pain to return. the vendor offered me a 30% discount and i refused. i had to send pictures.it took a week to get return label and only received my refund when i said i would dispute the charge with amex. CAVEAT EMPTOR(buyer beware)

Chef Preserve has lousy customer service

There is a 6 month complete warranty on the Chef Preserve Vacuum and a 2 year warranty as well. Mine is 8 months old and will not charge now. I have reached out to Chef Preserve via email and on their website, with no help at all. I need it at Christmas time to send goodies. It's a great product but has no active customer service.

Very Pleased

I purchased the chef preserve sealer a few weeks ago and It works great, removes the air quickly, and keeps items fresh. I had so much fun organizing things that I ended up using all 50 bags I purchased. There were 2 bags that didn't work, one that I must have ripped the seal when opening, but all the others worked great. I have had them in my fridge & freezer for 10 days now and all of them are still fully sealed. My fridge & freezer have so much more space now and looks so organized. I have even washed several bags and reused them with no issues. Not sure why so many have posted poor reviews, maybe company needs more quality control before shipping? Thankful I'm one of the lucky ones with a working product. I even reordered 3 more to give as Christmas gifts.
