I ordered 20 boxes of Skybox METAL…

I ordered 20 boxes of Skybox METAL universe cards from Cherry Collectibles in 3 separate orders, after ordering other various

The first two batches seemed fine but the last batch of 7 boxes all had missing cards in packs. I advised Cherry and they said they would follow up with their supplier after only offering me 2 replacement boxes out of the 7.

I was happy with that until we came to a resolution but when i followed it up i was told their supplier would only replace if they had purchased them as a diamond supplier within a year of purchase.

I argued the fact that it's not really my issue as Cherry is my supplier and should replace the boxes, but Simon couldn't help me any further.

Simon had also checked some of their unopened boxes and admitted via email they were missing cards in some packs when he opened some they had left over. He said some packs were short cards and some had extras. I most definitely didn't get extra cards and a lot of the packs were short.

This has put me off buying boxes now as there is no replacement for a faulty item and only a token two box replacement out of the 7 i ordered.

I also have to question what cards in the packs were missing and were they hits?! Were they resealed at some point?! I shouldn't have to worry about this as a client and feel like they should have been replaced full stop!!

I even offered to pay half price when asked if there was anything they could do to keep me as a customer (besides replace the 7 boxes). The boxes were not too expensive and i thought at least they would be going to some effort to make it right, but they wouldn't even go halves.

BTW Simon was not defensive and a nice guy, but obviously not willing to replace the boxes.

Cheap nasty packaging that results in damage product

Did a late purchase of a One Piece booster box which cost $370. When the package arrived it was all mangled which is definitely not Cherrys fault but the fact that there was only a small amount of cheap bubble wrap stuffed down one side of the package did nothing to stop the card pack from being mangled. If I pay for a premium product I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a premium level of packaging.

I have been ordering from Gameology for years and even when the package turns up mangled (I live rural and our postman loves to use the packages as footballs) the packaging always keeps the cards in pristine condition.

Avoid collectable card breaks and live opening

Avoid collectable card breaks - time is not accurate and the prices are crazy. Perfect example is $90 for a team in a single box break. Even a half decent card will not give you even money - was lucky to get $5 worth of cards as LAL. Try other Australian breakers, much better offers!

Ordered a product and it never shipped

Ordered a product and it never shipped

Recently ordered a some cards over a week ago. My first purchase from Cherry. Items haven't shipped, support is dodging my emails by sending standard responses such as "we ship within 3 business days, just wait for the tracking number and you'll know it's been shipped"

I should have trusted the online reviews that Cherry do dodgy things :(

I love articuno

Bought a graded slab, a couple singles and a box set, everything came amazingly! The box set had a teeny bit of damage to the back but that’s on Aussie post lol the cherry collectables team packages fairly well. Happy with my purchase :)

Express order not shipped after multiple days, cancellation request ignored

I purchased several mystery packs/boxes at midday on a Wednesday, and paid for the highest tier express psotage. By the following Monday midday, they hadn't even been shipped.

I contacted their support staff, and they said they would look into it. I responded and said I'd appreciate cancelling the order at this point. They didn't respond, and then a few hours later I received a message saying that the order was preparing to ship - the request for cancellation was completely ignored.
