REVIEW FOR CHESTNUT ROOFING

REVIEW FOR CHESTNUT ROOFING - A very frustrating and disappointing experience after paying promptly for the initial works. From the owner not even getting up a ladder to check out the roof issue when he came to price up the job, the issue not being resolved after the work was supposedly carried out, the receptionist really needs training in customer service, and after finally getting them back to assess the ongoing issue that hadn't been fixed, I was then completely ghosted and the work was never completed to fix the problem.

Wouldn't return - Disgraceful.

Wouldn't return! You should avoid this place...especially if you offend easy.

I came into the shop around 2:45pm on Tuesday 31st May, myself and a few other men of Asian ethnicity were in the store when we couldn't help but overhear a staff member (first lad on the counter) discriminating against refugees and slating them openly saying they are and I quote "scrounging b****ds".

I think management really need to have a word with this particular staff member as you could loose a lot of business - I for one won't be returning.

What a refreshing change!

What a refreshing change! Everybody I have dealt with in Chestnut has been professional, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. I ordered flooring and it arrived when they said it would, in perfect condition, at a really competitive price. I needed to order extra accessories afterwards, and it was a breeze to place the order.

Ordered materials from them

Ordered materials from them, says on internet free delivery on orders over £75. Was shocked to discover I was charged £15 delivery.
When I phoned them they where very rude said its because of the covid 19 everyone is being charged delivery and that I was the first person to complain out of thousands of customers.
They must be making a small fortune by misleading people, much like the shops that where putting the prices of toilet rolls up.
Its disgraceful and pure greedy.
I will never use them again.
