I needed a new battery because the last one was defective and CHI insitute knew about this issue. We both had a lot of problems with the unit before the new battery because we did not know about this problem.
Once we called, the issue was quickly resolved. However, a lot happened to us before the call trying to figure out the problem.

Thank you for your CHI Palm. I purchased it due to the fact that it supports 3 areas. Of course the sleep mode is great and the overall peace mode. I am so impressed by the healing mode . I did buy the product for myself but over the summer I encouraged my brother to use after chemo treatments and it helped him recover between treatments so much faster and alleviate a lot of back pain. I'm glad to have the CHI Palm as part of my arsenal to combat the inevitable aches and pains of life. And it's a pleasure to do business with the company because they seem genuinely concerned about my welfare.
I was able to pay for the CHI Palm using my FSA account from work: I had to get my orthopedic surgeon to sign off on a document of medical necessity to pay for it with FSA money, but he was happy to sign that piece of paper....which speaks volumes! This is a great device....it keeps me truckin'!

I’ve used CHI machines since the eighties. I’ve purchased each improved version. I’m not sure if I like the battery charged as compared to plug-in models. With each version I purchased 3. One for mom and one for sis. We’ve all used countless times for many reasons and shared with friends.

My husband has a slight aortic aneurysm that they discovered after his stroke 18 years ago.
