SCAM COMPANY

A scam company! I ordered 2 of the same dress accidentally and immediately tried to cancel one. But of course they sent both. The dresses where no where near the advertised one. Cheap polyester with a made in China label. No paper in the bag with return details. On the website it says 14 days return, but no address and no phone number only an email address which I sent a request to but no reply! Absolutely a scam do not buy from them!

This website is a scam

This website is a scam. Do not purchase from them. I ordered a champagne color dress, and received a bubble gum pink color dress instead. I contacted them asking a full refund, they first responded with 30% refund is their best offer, saying “lighting” played a factor. I replied again asking for a full refund, saying there’s no way a bubble gum pink can change to a champagne color, they replied offering 50% refund and 30% future discounts.

Buyer Beware!

I ordered 2 very pricey cocktail dresses from Chiclody, and chose the size based on their size chart. I had read previous reviews and recommendations that the fit is typically smaller than normal, so suggested to order one size larger. (Size XS usually, so ordered a S) I did so, and when I received my order I could not even get the zipper in the back half way up. No problem. I just wanted to exchange both dresses for one size larger, as the style and quality was very nice.. the fit was just way too small. I reached out to Chiclody Customer Support for exchange instructions, as per their website. They informed me that they do not do exchanges, therefore I had to return the items on my own dime for shipping, and reorder the size I wanted. My refund for the originals would be credited when they received the returned items. I returned via FedEx Ground (at a cost of $75 CAD) following Chiclody’s return instructions diligently, and about 2 weeks later received a notification that the receiver (Chiclody) had refused the parcel delivery. The parcel had been handed over to UPS, and when I contacted them, they said there were additional customs and tax fees to be paid ($193 USD) before they would release the package, therefore Chiclody refused. I contacted Chiclody and expressed my further disappointment that not only did my items not fit anywhere near what their size chart suggested, but now I was also tasked with trying to locate my package that they refused after I followed their explicit return instructions.. at my own cost..and basically was told it was not their problem, and up to me to figure out with the courier. I ended up chasing my parcel ($400 USD inside, and now lost) for over 3 weeks before I was able to finally locate it and have it sent back to me, with another shipping fee for me to pay to get it back! Now I will so have to pay alteration fees to hopefully make these fancy expensive dresses wearable, and worth the $400 USD I have already invested.. or try to sell them, for likely a fraction of what I paid for them.
End result and review.. If Chiclody was the last clothing company on the planet.. I would choose to live without clothing! Terrible experience all around.

HORRIBLE QUALITY

I JUST RECEIVED THE DRESS I ORDERED A FEW WEEKS AGO AND TO SAY I AM DISSAPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. THE DRESS CAME STUFFED IN A PLASTIC BAG, WITHOUT A TAG, LOOKS USED, CHEAP, THREADS ALL OVER THE PLACE, AND NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. Now the wait to see if they will accept the return!

Don’t order from this company. They send used ripped garments to you and don’t give you a way to return it unless you pay for both ways. I see they shut off their comments on Facebook so people can’t post.

Really bad quality

I received the dresses today and I am speechless and really shocked. The quality is really really bad! They smell bad. The sippers don't really work; they are so slim and bad quality... After trying on 1 dress I even got a rash. The dresses are heavy and plastic. They are totaly wrinkled and so plastic, that I don't think, I could even iron them without burning them. For those prices you can expect much much better quality... The 3 of 4 dresses don't even look like on the picture

Ordered a formal dress for wedding and…

Ordered a formal dress for wedding and it was too small. I am a size 6 but this was more like a size 0. Th trouble was returning the dress. I sent it back via FedEx Ex with all the required pictures and packaging over 3 weeks ago and still haven’t received a refund. They try to get you to keep the item by offering a partial refund. Feels like a 3rd world organization you are dealing with. Everything is via email and that is even slow for a reply. Definitely would not recommend.

It's a scam!!!!

It's a scam!!!!! I bought a beautiful dark red dress and a cherry red dress that was poorly sewn arrived. I contacted the customer service email for a return label and refund request. I even sent pictures of the dress and they complimented it and offered a 30% refund off $200 and now have ghosted me!!! DO NOT PURCHASE from this company!!!!

Poor service

Poor service . Unable to sort out a return for a dress that was poorly stitched and clearly not the size advertised . Despite emails within 14 days no way forward for a refund . Best option is 20% of a £120 cost of a dress that didn’t even put on as size way off . Make sure you will definitely keep the item or else no chance of full refund . Stuck with an mis sized dress that I can’t wear and can’t return and get a refund . What a waste ! I will never order from this site ever again

DONT BUY

I purchased 3 dresses for 455 dollars, not cheap . Upon arrival , the dresses didn’t fit me , but also the dresses didn’t look much like advertised and were extremely cheaply made for what was paid .
I contacted them right away with pictures and they offered me an exchange. I made clear I only want to return and my money back . No response .
I tried to contact them via social media and they not only deleted my comments but also blocked me , I can’t simply find them anywhere . The company is a total scam.
The dresses are too expensive for what is offered.
Do NOT buy , all the good reviews online on social media are fake as they delete the bad ones .
The quality is cheap and poor , and the return process is practically impossible .

Poor customer service Poor return policy

Placed an order for several dresses which didnt arrive in time. Their return policy seems to be , there are no returns. Offered me $20 back on a $600 dollar order plus a 10% coupon. Finally got them to agree to my return (with a million conditions) and they are no longer answering my emails. Total SCAM do not order from this company.

The company is scamming people. I ordered a dress that cost me $200. The dress I got was completely wrong and worthless. After much discussion they decided to allow me to return it but then didn’t send return address.

This is a scam company, DO NOT spend YOUR MONEY HERE!

This is a scam company. They say its Chiclody UK but the dress is sent from china. They charge premium for dress that quality is worse than forever 21. Looks so cheap. I pay 2 dresses for $400, and when i want to return it they offer $39 as a goodwill and i cant keep rhe dress. Their customer service is a joke, and There is not much they can do. If you want 100% refund has to be escalated to higher department, meaning you will never see your money back. I will never buy from this place again. Really bad servive and bad quality.

DO NOT BUY SCAM.

Do not buy from this scam website. I bought a dress nearly 3 months ago. Poor quality cheap material. Sent back cost £33 postage tracked x signed for and heard nothing. So I have spent £174 and they offered me 20 dollars and keep the dress when I first contacted them. What a joke. Postage is Texas but cloths made in china.

BE WARNED. Not heard a thing since and they received and signed for it. 😡😡😡😡

Please do not buy from this scamming company, they will not refund and intentionally make it difficult to return your goods, they are based in china, yet make you return the item to USA, beware or you will lose your money. The items are very poor quality and not as described. 3 months and no refund

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I ordered my dress on the 9th, choose expedited shipping because I needed it by a certain date. I have reached out to them twice, nothing. My dress still has not shipped and it is the 15th. Horrible return policy

Ordered 4 dresses for me and my daughters. They took 3+ weeks to arrive , too late for the ceremony. Trying to return is an absolute nightmare - ABSOLUTE SCAM. Offering me $50 back plus a 10% coupon when I paid $600 plus for the order! Then to attempt a return its a major headache multiple steps required, including pictures of the return process

Still refusing refund

So. They still will not accept my return and refund my money - over $200. They think a $50 credit to their store will fix it and they want me to remove my review. I want my money back. These dresses were worse than rags. I would never order another thing from them.

This was by far the worst shopping…

This was by far the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had.
• The material quality is shockingly poor — far below what was shown in the pictures on the website.
• The products received look nothing like the photos. Very misleading.
• Customer service was unhelpful and made every effort to prevent a return or refund.
• While their website promises a “smooth refund process,” in reality, it’s deliberately obstructive and exhausting.
• The final blow? The return shipping cost was more than the value of the items themselves.

This feels like a complete scam. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing from this store.
