My son had a fantastic time at SWAC this half term. Despite the harsh weather he was able to sail, kayak and SUP. The instructors Alex and Alp are brilliant; they have taught him so much and helped him build more confidence on the water. He hasn’t stopped raving about the fun he had, especially seeing a seal up close whilst out sailing.

Fantastic instructor. Very professional. A lot of new skills I have after this course.
I really recomend for everybody who wants to be yachtmaster ocean.

The Chieftain Training facilities are great but above that, Alan is a great SRC (Marine VHF) Instructor. Not only does his subject matter knowledge shine through - he's a great communicator and tutor. Also, his SAR experience is just the sort of comforting knowledge that your're being taught by the best of the best. Highly recommend.

Just finished the best 4 days with Chieftain. Brilliant tuition, Pete was our instructor and he’s brilliant!

Second year of coming back for a progression course for my wife and two boys.

Ive completed both RYA1 and 2 dinghy sailing with chieftain training - thoroughly enjoyed both - great instructors and boats. Plus good group. Recommend

Well planned and well delivered course content, real world scenarios and full debriefs given.
Instructor Yvonne was professional, patient and made sure everyone had a full understanding of a subject before moving on, giving extra time before the class and after to ensure the best possible learning outcome for everyone 3rd refresher and best one yet.

Very informative class led by Curt. Interactive which helps understanding and learning. The circuit design , drawing, draw down and continuous verification exercise was especially effective. Well done and thank you

The diesel maintenance course was really worthwhile. Andrew is an excellent instructor and clearly explained the subjects. I would train here again.

Enjoyed learning how to control, navigate and manovour on a RIB and a Jaffa.
Also learnt how to control the RIB in narrow distances with marinas

The course was well organized, and my instructor addressed all the topics in a very clear and simple way. I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn the basics of sailing in the Solent.

Fantastic training. Carl, our instructor on the 12V course was exceptional. He is an excellent teacher and clearly really enjoys explaining the course content to the students. We all had a very useful and enjoyable learning experience.
