had a bad experience with Fredrik Gronkvist. The founder. The guy was not flexible at all, pretty rude actually, not customer oriented, and not useful. The report we got was not meeting our requirements that had been amply discussed beforehand with another employee (who was very nice). Just received the report, mentioned that it wasn't what we asked for and the response was: "well that's what you get, deal with it"

They just sent us a report that didn't meet our product search and was totally useless for us. Wasted money and time. Will not work with them in the future.

I wanted to say thank you for your platform! We found a supplier that not only dropped our product cost by less than 1/3 but also is willing to ship product over time so we don't have to plunk down a huge amount of capital all at once. What a lifesaver. We were dealing with a US supplier that was taking over 8 months to get us product, and the new supplier got us product shipped within 60 days., after sending a sample in less than 2 weeks.

I have been searching far and wide for an easy to follow, actionable knowledge resource for all questions related to product development and sourcing overseas. We are in the research stage of looking to import overseas goods. We have researched MANY, MANY companies. We have watched nearly every Webinar, downloaded PDF's explored the chinaimportal website and compliancegate site. Fredrick provides the largest abundance of FREE information of any service out there. He has promptly answered every question we've asked in Webinar emails, the services of both companies are TRANSPARENT. The prices for additional services are clearly listed. It takes money to make money and QUALITY is not cheap. If you have spent ANY amount of time trying to research ANY aspect of importing, you know that the process is VERY involved and risk vs reward on your own is HIGH risk for failure. We intend on purchasing both the ChinaImportal for business and the Compliancegate. The compliancegate in itself is MONTHS of savings in time. If you're unsure, import something from overseas to the US and when your goods are seized for non compliance at the border, don't blame anyone but yourself. When you're fined for non compliance issues by US regulating bodies, don't blame anyone but yourself. Think of it like this; if you're on your own without consulting resources, sure it's cheap and RISKY as all get out. If you have the ability to utilize consulting services, sure you pay but it's done right. We're so glad to have found Fredrick.

I signed up with chinaimportal 2 years ago and I am very satisfied with their service. Whenever I have a question I simply send them a message and within 24 hours I get a response every time from their support team. I recently requested them to do a review of the bank account of my supplier before making payment. Fredrik the co-founder looked into it and got back to me quickly. Occasionally I pester them with questions but they never dismissed my concerns even if the issue I was raising was a small one. Fredrik is very professional and friendly, I have learned so much from his blog and videos. I signed up to their support plan about a month ago, after going through one of those tricky sales funnels , ‘free training’ and supposed ‘special discount, (I have had it with those unethical marketing strategies) About a week later I changed my mind and decided I wasn’t quite ready for it. I emailed them and got NO response. I had not used any of their services, so there is no reason to not refund me. I think it’s unethical to use those sales strategies with no way out. Buyer beware!!!
