Your meat is fantastic. The bacon was way too thick. It will be great to sauté for casseroles and anything that calls for bacon like beef bourguignon, but not a breakfast meat. Flavor is great.

I am reviewing the experience
I am reviewing the experience, not the product. The website is clunky to use when you purchase a gift card. Knowing this I circled back to double check all info was entered and it was. However the gift was sent to me anyway and not to the intended. I followed up by reaching out to customer service and never heard back. Luckily they were able to use the gift card with me forwarding it, but the website and customer service was a let down.

Honestly
I have liked chop box for two years however I have noticed some negatives. We recently bought three boneless pork butts and one was almost total fat! We previously bought prime sirloin steaks which were excellent but are no longer available. Finally, the pricing must be considered.

The chicken most times is covered in ice crystals. The steaks are extremely expensive for what you get. However, the burgers are great.

ups lost our shipment so when it arrived all of the meat was spoiled. chop box had already warned us so it was expected. i called rich and he replaced the entire shipment no charge. great service from start to finish. top notch organization with both great meats and service.

I placed an order to be sent to my sister and her husband. He had been very ill and needed to have a special diet which included lean steaks. I had never heard of Chop Box but decided to try it since she lives in another state, I was not able to just go to a butcher and bring something over.
Chop Box was the perfect solution! She rec'd the order in two days and sent me pictures of the beautiful steaks they received. They were very happy with the quality and taste when she cooked them (and sent more pictures!). I was very happy to have found Chop Box and will definitely use it again for myself as well. Thank you!
