The most unreliable delivery service

The worst delivery company I’ve had the misfortune to experience. The customer service was abysmal and there was a lack of communication. Since I’m an international student I ordered a big Ikea order to my accommodation for the day after I arrived. However the order didn’t arrive because my accommodation didn’t accept parcels (which I didn’t know at the time because I was never informed about it). I assumed that Chronopost would contact me if they needed any help, this wasn’t the case.
I simply got an email saying the parcel couldn’t be delivered. I rang Chronopost and tried to rearrange a delivery and they said I’d get my order the next day. I waited all morning the next day and still nothing.
Since they had my number they could’ve rang me and I could’ve picked up my order straight from them but they never did. I rang them again and this time the woman who answered was very rude and made no effort to help me.
I explained that I was an international student and that I needed this order ASAP as I needed towels, bedding and cooking utensils. I asked if I could add details to my address to help the delivery driver and she simply responded “no”.
After this stressful process I finally reached out to IKEA and explained the situation and that I needed this order and they were very helpful and arranged for my order to be dropped off at a pick-up point a couple days later (although picking up 3 large boxes between me and my friend was very heavy at least I got my order). After this being confirmed however I still received no confirmation emails from Chronopost or any apology for the delay. Their service is extremely unreliable and the customer service team are usually unhelpful and rude. I would also like to note that all 3 boxes were torn and weren’t in good condition although there was fragile china inside.

Chronopost is complete krapp

Chronopost is complete krapp. don't use it. go to DHL, UPS, any other service but this one.

the service clientele is completely useless.

on three separate occasions, a delivery is "prevu" for one day, then that changes to the next day "avant 22h" so I wait at home all day for no reason, then at 20h I get a message that says it will be delivered the next day between 8h and 18h, I wait at home all day again for NO REASON. there is no update, there is no information, and when I call the help line they are completely unable to provide any information other than "we are doing the necessary to make sure it is delivered" but won't say when.

THIS IS A COMPLETELY KRAPP SERVICE>

Worst service

Worst service. in one week, they didn't deliver to my address, broke my order, gave me misleading information and now postponing without asking. Worst service ever.

Terrible terrible experience

Terrible terrible experience. The order status keeps saying “delivered” even though I did not receive anything and when I called their “international customer service” , they refused to speak English with me so I basically ended up in a limbo and had to contact the original seller instead.

This service is horrible

This service is horrible. Your package just gets taken away to never Neverland and you have to fight tooth and nail to find it do anything you can use a different service. It’s a really a joke.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever.

I received a notification that my package was received "by me". Although I did receive nothing.

I called them, and explained the issue. They sent me a proof of delivery. The signature on the proof is not even mine. Apparently, someone pretended to be me and stole it.

The delivery agent didn't even call me when he arrived, no notification, nothing. This is 0 responsibility and professionalism.

And now when I said that this is not my signature, they said they need a week to investigate.

What an unprofessional dishonest delivery agency! If had known they will be this unprofessional and irresponsible, I would've went myself to the shop to buy the package in person.

Disaster

Terrible. I have lost so much time at work waiting for parcels that don't arrive. Even though I pay for 24 hour delivery. I can't even count how many times this has happened.

The worst company in France

The worst company in France. To be avoided and avoided like the plague. My customer paid €70 for an international package and was never delivered! Incompetent and dishonest.

Drop off wherever they want

Drop off wherever they want. Too far away from the delivery address. Delivery guys called and I asked to leave the parcel at the post office nearby. He left it at the pick up point in another part of the town.

Horrendous service and lying agents

I paid €64 for some documents to be delivered from Nice to London in 2-3 days and it took 13 days (15-28 March). They were very important legal documents, hence paying such a high fee as I expected better service. I contacted Chronopost several times to determine what was happening and the agents were completely unhelpful except for one. I was promised that my case was escalated and a supervisor would call me back and this did not happen. Each time I called I was promised it would be delivered that day and it wasn’t. This happened about 5 times. The agents just told me to keep waiting and could provide no information.

When I complained and asked for a refund, they said the contact information was incorrect on the receiving end, which was completely false. The package was going to a large law firm, and I am in regular contact with the person who it was addressed to, and they eventually delivered the package.

Do not use them!!

Bought a bunch of family photos from Photobox to send to someone in Ireland, they used Chronopost for the intonational shipping. Thing is it started in Ireland literally 40 miles from where it was supposed to go. IT WAS THEN SENT TO FRANCE!!! WHY?!?! and now it it is stuck in france, on the site it's stuck saying "Outbound linehaul scan". Such a wasteful company.

Stay away from these scammers!

Our letter was never delivered even though it was transported only within France. The delivery guy even called that it has arrived to the lobby but when we asked the people, there was no delivery guy seen! We contacted the service center and they said they are unable to reach the delivery guy. It means they have stolen the letter! Never buy any delivery service from these scammers!

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH COMPANY

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH COMPANY. 50 euros to send my sons passport back to UK, which was taken in Error. Now sitting at Brive airport for 7 days so he misses his flight. Impossible to contact them They are a complete joke!!

I would have given them NO stars!…

I would have given this company NO stars at all. The worst couriers I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Waiting at home day after day, and nothing arrives. Impossible to contact them except by phoning them in France (I don't speak French).
The tracking information also says it is being handled by their depot in Melpignano, which theoretically I could get to, except that there is no address given for the depot, nor can I find it via Google or Chronopost's own website.

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service. No service at all. I paid 79 euros to send a signed A4 document to our solicitors in UK having been told that if it didn’t arrive in 3 days I got my money back. It is now 10 days later and it’s stuck with
Securite Aerenne who apparently may keep it for ever. No refund. Just APPALLING. I’ve put it on Twitter please if you have the same awful service do the same. A faceless enterprise that is totally untransparent like so many French institutions.

Worse from the worse! Most disgraceful service you ever met! Stay AWAY!

The most disgusting service I ever met. Cheaters and Liars!
I have never ever seen such a disgusting company.
We have ordered a package from Amazon and paid for the home delivery. We got the mail when we should expect our package delivered. We were at home all day long waiting for the package but instead of the delivery on the tracking page we read "Delivery failed due to the absence of the recipient".
What is obviously not true! They simply ignored to deliver a big parcel to me and told us to go to pick it up at their office.
Why should I go there to get my package if I paid a lot of money for for the home delivery?
They even refused to reschedule the second attempt.
They even don't have email where you can complain or ask questions so we have to ask Amazon to help us to get connected.
On the social media and provided phone they don't answer.
I guess there is a reason for this& They simply unable to handle enormous amount of complaints of the clients they did not provided promised services.

STAY AWY FROM THIS COMPANY!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS CHEATERS who does not respect neither you nor your time!

Totally unacceptable service from Chronopost!

Totally unacceptable service from Chronopost! I was expecting a delivery from a favourite UK supplier which basically never turned up. Firstly I recieved an email giving me an hour slot to expect my delivery - nothing arrived. Immediately following the time slot, I received another email stating that there was a problem with the delivery address. I selected the following day as an option for delivery and added road number and nearby town details to help with locating the address. Nothing arrived. By this time, I had travelled back to the UK for a brief visit and telephoned Chronopost from there. I was told that there was no sign on the building, driver could not locate - I made it very clear that the house is very clearly signed with it's own sign and that the address is the address, I can't add anything to this to make it more locatable! Another delivery scheduled for the following day (by now 5 days late) - nothing arrived, no email, no nothing. I subsequently contacted the UK vendor who has tried all this week to get my goods delivered here without success and has now had to issue a refund. I sent him photos of the property, post box and building sign, he sent google map references, all to no avail. Where are my goods? mainly food items, probably being enjoyed by Chronopost staff who clearly had made no attempt to deliver at all. This company need to sort themselves out, the problem is that at the customer has no choice of delivery company, but maybe UK companies will vote with their feet or stand to lose quite a lot of money.

Poor at delivering packages

Based on one experience, Chronopost is extremely poor at delivering packages, even in their native Paris. There is no way to contact them via email or online to find out what is happening. This is the transcript of my 12-day (so far) wait for a parcel.
