Beautiful World Citizen Cafe

After learning many languages in my life I was happy enough to « meet » Citizen Café for Hebrew. At this stage of my life ( I am 87!!!) it is difficult to learn a new language because the memory is fragile and not as trustable as it used to be. I have hard time. But the CC method works wonderfully for me.
On top of the quality methodological approach (repeat and repeat and repeat…) AND the kindness and patience of all instructors (I got three already) it became a real pleasure to check that I am still able to learn and transform my present time into a happier time.

A brilliant & fun language learning system!! Citizen Cafe has been such a wonderful experience so far. Always enjoyable, you learn through talking and repeating and interacting with each other and the teacher. The teachers have all been just so wonderful. Kind, generous, joyful. I've studied many languages, but this system outshines every other. Absolutely recommend Citizen Cafe!

This is by far the best language program I have come across over the years. The classes are fun, interactive and engaging and have helped me really push my Hebrew to the next level. The learning platform is so organised and provides you with great opportunities to practice and improve. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to speak Hebrew.

Citizen Cafe is an amazing program. Small class sizes, fantastic teachers, a supportive community, and a method that has you speaking and understanding Hebrew from day one. I can’t believe how much I’ve learned and how confident I’ve become in my speaking in just a few short months!

I actually started speak to people in Hebrew without thinking about how to say it! I highly recommend Citizen Cafe for anyone who actually wants to speak Hebrew.

The method really works!! The studying is quite expensive at the first glance, but given that you can join to the practice groups without any limitations, and this is 1 hour full lesson where you can refresh the materials learned in the past, their price policy is absolutely reasonable. And the results are impressive!

Six Semesters In—and Still in Love with Citizens Café Tel Aviv!

I’ve been learning at Citizens Café Tel Aviv for six semesters now, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Citizen Café Academy is a total game-changer! I’ve never experienced a language program quite like this — it’s dynamic, modern, and incredibly effective. The conversational method they use is not only practical but also makes learning Hebrew feel natural and intuitive from day one.

I have tried to learn Hebrew before in a group or one to one but until Citizen Cafe nothing stuck.
The teaching method of citizen Cafe is brilliant. Constant repetition. Constant talking. The teaching is engaging and the support and extra learning opportunities outside the classes are incredible. Would recommend 100%

Citizen Cafe is a fantastic school. I think they use the best method to teach the students to speak Hebrew. I started studying Hebrew a year ago and wanted to find a different school and am I so grateful that I found Citizen Cafe. I found my Hebrew home!

Citizen Cafe has made learning Hebrew a fun, practical, engaging and memorable experience. I have so much love for my amazing teachers, my classmates and the whole Citizen Cafe community as a whole. Teachers are increidbly welcoming and foster safe learning environments were taking risks and growing is comfortable. Also, acces to additional practice groups and group allows for plenty of opportunities to practice using the language. What impressed me the most is how incredibly effective the Citizen Cafe Method is. When they tell you you will be speaking Hebrew from Day 1, they aren't lying! Even in the early levels, I felt comfortable using the Hebrew I had learned in real life situations. Looking back, I am amazed that even though I had such limited vocabulary, I was able to apply the little I had so effectively in real life situations. I can't recommend this program enough. Do you want to learn Hebrew? What are you waiting for!

I am in my fifth semester with Citizen Cafe. I've been really impressed by how far my Hebrew has come in a little over a year, and so are all the Israelis I meet when I start speaking with them. I've had some amazing teachers. They really do make it fun. I was lucky enough to have Noga for 3 semesters and she really made the classes feel like a community. The format feels silly at first and is hard to get used to, and it does move fast, but it works. I love how the zoom format lets you talk all through class and practice consistently. No one will let you fail if you trust the method. If you do a few minutes of work with the flashcards every day, you'll progress quickly. It's expensive, but I'm getting what I paid for. I'm impressed with the resources and that the method works.

I love Citizen Cafe!!! This is my fourth semester at Citizen Cafe and my Hebrew has come so far. Not only does their method work, but they make it fun, too! Even after a long work day, I’m always excited to go to class at Citizen Cafe. All the teachers I’ve had (Yuval H., Noga R., Ofek C., and Romy G.) have been kind, engaging, and energetic. By speaking so much in class, they’ve also helped me to build my confidence speaking Hebrew, even when I make mistakes or don’t know all the words. I’m so grateful to have found Citizen Cafe and feel confident that with more time and practice, I’m well on my way to fluency in Hebrew!

I love the lessons from Citizen Cafe teachers. There are many choices for class times. Great learning environment and vibe. Lessons are always on time. We get to practice conversational Hebrew. The teachers are very encouraging and friendly. Perfect choice to learn Hebrew.

I am an Israeli American Physician that practices medicine in both country. I have taken three different Hebrew courses. One was in Israel ( Ulpan for beginners that was geared for Russians). This was given once a week at night. I found it quite difficult. The second was just before the war broke out. It was run by IAC. This was given once weekly for about an hour. The teacher was great but the course was okay. This course with Cafe Tel Aviv has been over all the best. All of the individuals that I have been dealing with have been overall excellent. My teacher, Chen, gets up very early in the morning Israel time to teach us for over 90 minutes without a break. She teaches us with kindness and pushes us gently. I have learned so much in just 8 lessons. The student can review all the courses online, use flash cards already set up and use their practice to go. It has been a great course. I already paid in full for the 30 weeks to learn. I even reached out to the owner and that individual responded. It is kind of pricey however you get so much for the money if you study and take advantage of what they offer.
