I ordered an Ariel for a C4 Spacetourer. The part sent was in plain packaging and didn't look like the photo on the website . The reception was very intermittent. I sent it back but the company refused to refund the money as I had thrown away the packaging (which was basically a plain plastic bag).
I don't think the part was a genuine Citroen ariel.
I ordered roof bars from Citroen Direct Parts on 09/04/2025, paying more than £300. As I write on 07/05/2025, I still haven't got the item.
Emails asking for an update from the parts advisor went unanswered - it later emerged that he had gone sick and nobody was picking up on his emails.
No-one ever answers the phone when I call, but I do get a response typically later in the day. Then I am assured that the item will arrive "tomorrow" -- except that it doesn't. The wife and neighbours are put out, waiting in for something that doesn't arrive.
Nobody bothers to give us any tracking information or the name of the courier, to be able to know when the item might be delivered.
Someone in this situation who needs the item more urgently and doesn't have a month to wait, might have to go out and buy another set of roof bars. Then they would be hundreds of pounds out of pocket, in the midst of a cost-of-living storm.
This poor service should be called out.
