After doing lots of research and spending lots of time at Citu Leeds we reserved our new home in June 2024.

Nina, Sharan and Andy have been really helpful and went above and beyond to respond to queries we raised. They were so supportive and patient when our chain proved challenging.

We love our new house, with its friendly and diverse community. All within walking distance of the shops, theatre and restaurants of Leeds city centre.

So glad we made the move and grateful for the support of the Citu team.

Thank you to Emily who showed us around both of the show homes in Kelham central. The houses were stunning and we were armed with knowledge after all of our questions were answered. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Myself and my boyfriend called 4 days ago to book a viewing to explore our options in buying a property through citu in the new kelham complex. Today we walked away armed with knowledge and a perfect image of our (possible) future within one of these amazing houses. The only reason being Emily S who was incredible and went above and beyond at every opportunity they could. Thank you so much, we hope to see you very soon to start our futures with Emily and Citu helping us along the way!!

Came to see the climate innovation district at the weekend as i had heard great things about it. What a fantastic development and a great community, also enjoyed a few drinks at the pig live bar by the river which was a bonus. Ian B

CITU is a forward thinking and exciting builder. Speaking as someone who works with numerous agents and builders it is great to see them bringing intelligent and accessible properties to the market especially in city centre spaces dominated by apartments. I look forward to seeing what other innovative designs they have for the future.

The property was exactly what we were looking for. Emily the salesperson was really helpful and provided the information we needed. Unfortunately after completing some due diligence we concluded the property to be overpriced and didnt proceed due to current market conditions but would definitely consider Citu in future.

Great development! I especially liked the pig love spot, amazing place to have a drink by the water. Recommend very strongly!

We were shown round a 4 bed house in the climate change district by Sharan. The service from initial enquiry was first class. We were impressed by the design, quality and spaciousness of the house, particularly the air heat pump being contained within the house, and the high ceilings. The landscaping is lovely as is the walk into town along the river. Freehold ownership of the property stops at the footprint of the building, so there is no garden area which is not communally owned. This is a major sticking point for us, for two reasons: firstly, the prospect of paying unknown sums indefinitely to a management company for the upkeep of the communal areas; and secondly, not having any private outdoor space for drying washing, BBQs, having friends round in the summer etc.A bike would have to be brought into the kitchen. Also, not being able to get a car near the property to unload heavy shopping. Relegating the car to a central space fits in with the ethos of the site, but if you are elderly ( as we are ) or at the other end of the age range, you have a baby and all the stuff you have to take with them, schlepping a long way to the car isn't ideal. So, not for us, though I have respect for the values and aims of the site.

5 star service throughout our brief experience. From initial contact, to answering our many questions and aiding us in deciding whether the properties were right for us or not, Emily Smallman at Citu UK has been nothing short of amazing. Approachable, friendly, nothing ever too much trouble, and also knowledgeable in Citu as a development. Whilst not right for us currently we have no reserves about Citu as a company and certainly not about Emily. Anyone who finds themselves with her as their appointed sales person will certainly have a great experience.

After recently visiting the Climate Innovation District, I have nothing but positive things to share. With its emphasis on environmentally conscious living, this district offers a vibrant place for a wide cohort of individuals, encouraging a forward-thinking community, where green technology and sustainable design are at the forefront. The addition of bars such as Pig Love, helps to create a real sense of community.

I’d heard about these eco friendly houses in Leeds and I was intrigued. So I went to take a look and I was amazed!! The whole experience was wonderful. The houses were spacious and modern and together, a long with the outside bar called ‘Pig Love’ it all created a really pleasant neighbourhood that I would love to be apart of one day.

Interesting development with great environmental credentials. But it’s an over developed sited, now crammed with a new huge bank of flats next door and is next to an incinerator plant. My viewing was very informative but the houses are small with very little storage. The gardens and landscaping are an asset. I hope citu keeps up the standard over the long term.

The climate Innovation District is a great idea in an age where energy costs are rising & the need to conserve energy is paramount. The whole area looks really good and the opening of Pig Love bar adds a great social meeting place for both residents & the public.

I came to view a house in Leeds on a weekend. The lady was very helpful and gave me all the information I required. I ask a lot of questions.
The complex was lovely and there was a nice place to eat and have a drink.
Would definitely recommend a visit

I've visited CITU twice now with Y12 students as part of a Carbon Literacy course during our sixth form college's careers week. On both occasions the students have really enjoyed being shown around the site by enthusiastic, approachable and knowledgeable young employees.  It was great to get CITU's real life perspective on implementing sustainability.

I bought a flat from CITU last year, and overall, my experience has been positive. The salesperson was amazing—friendly, helpful, and guided us through the entire process. The mortgage adviser they recommended was also excellent, with in-depth knowledge of the site and great support throughout all stages. Any major snags were handled quickly and efficiently.

The development has a great sense of community, with plenty of green space and amenities that aren’t just for residents but also accessible to the local community. These are crucial in offering people young & old a safe place to gather and engage in positive activities.

Really informative tour of Citu that inspired the students and teachers alike. I would encourage anyone to go and learn about this exciting new development in Leeds.
