I've had 2 pairs of glasses from them now, whilst I've found the staff helpful when buying my new glasses, I've found them lacking a bit when picking up my new glasses, I had to ask them to check If they appeared to fit on my face and around my ears correctly, they hardly even looked and just said come back if they rub, I've found other opticians much more thorough when checking if your new glasses fit correctly, I've since had to go back as they rubbed both my nose and ears

The service I received was fantastic and they have an extensive stock.

I purchased expensive complex prescription glasses from the Meadowhall store in the Summer. Z and Mel were fantastic in supporting me and ensuring that my selection, purchase and after care with adjustments was first class. Have recommended to family and friends and would definitely purchase from again

Bob was excellent, and fixed my glasses after the arm screw came off which had a special screw type needed. No hesitation to fix, offered to pay but didnt want any money, cleaned my lenses at the same time. Will be back to purchase glasses! Thank you.

Bought some Ray-Ban sunglasses from the Meadowhall store this weekend. Staff were not pushy in any way but so helpful when needed. When I found the same glasses cheaper online, I went back for a refund, but they were happy to refund the difference, which essentially made them half price - thank you!

I had a wonderful experience here! I bought a pair of Cartier sunglasses, and the owner kindly offered to fit them with Zeiss tinted lenses at a very good price. The service was excellent — extremely friendly, patient, and professional throughout the whole process. The lenses turned out perfect, and the overall quality exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

The service was very good at the eye test date,I purchased two pairs of Oakley glasses sun glasses and normal glasses. Not cheap at over 800.00 pounds,Six weeks later one of the nose pads fell off upon returning to the shop staff tried to replace it with a none genuine part not very successful I was given my glasses back and told they would order a new one this would take up to two weeks.Where do I stand returning these and getting a different pair.

I had a fantastic experience at City Specs Meadowhall Sheffield.
It took me 3 months of searching every opticians just to find the right glasses at the right price. I am very picky and love bright coloured glasses and love the modern look. I loved the variety of glasses on offer and the competitive prices.
The staff are so friendly, approachable and professional.
I bought two pairs of glasses one for everyday use and prescription sunglasses too, the service was faultless, Zeeshan today was so helpful , knowledgeable and kind ,he adjusted my old glasses to fit better (same prescription as the new glasses) and even adjusted my husbands for him when his own optician said he couldn’t do it , he gave great advice. My husband was very impressed and will definitely be choosing his next glasses from City Specs.
It won’t take me as long next time to pick my glasses , I will be heading straight for City Specs and encouraging my friends, family and colleagues to do the same.

I visited City Specs in Meadowhall Sheffield for a blocked ear problem- Lovely Aqsa explained the procedure very well and did an Excellent job with immediate results by removing built up ear wax- painlessly and thoroughly! Will definitely go back and can absolutely recommend to anyone suffering with blocked ears - A huge Thank You Aqsa

City Specs Meadowhall Sheffield. What an informative and helpful time I had today. It was quite surprising. The optician Noel was very helpful and answered all my questions thoroughly. He was very helpful. I was under no pressure to by my spectacles from them and the salesman assured me I could take my time or return when I was ready to choose. It was a very enjoyable experience and after 50 years of wearing glasses it was the best visit to an opticians i have experienced. Very professional Thank You all

I purchased a pair of rimless Calvin Klein frames over a year ago at the Manchester store.The nut and bolt had fallen out and went back to see if they could repair them. The service I received was excellent!! The staff are always so obliging and nothing is too much trouble. They managed to repair them at no charge for me. I am so grateful and will go back when I need new glasses.I have also recommended them to my friends and Family.

City Specs have a great range of glasses and are experts on repairs due to the different styles they stock. They fixed an old frame of mine and replaced the nose pads which no other opticians were able to repair. They didn’t charge me despite spending almost half an hour replacing the broken screws and I didn’t have an appointment.
I would highly recommend them, brilliant service, I will always purchase my glasses and sun glasses from them.

2nd pair of glasses bought from citispecs- they have a brilliant range at competitive prices. I was given great advice about what frames suited me etc and I’m delighted with them.

I went in a couple of weeks ago with a pair of ic! berlin frames (Cityspecs are the only authorised agent in Manchester) which I had purchased in London. The staff member spent a considerable time helping to correctly fit the frame to my face (even changing the nose pads) without charge. I was suitably impressed.

This eyewear store provides exceptional service. Even though I was just seeking repairs for my glasses, they treated me with outstanding professionalism, actively reaching out to their headquarters in Germany to ensure I received the necessary parts. Not only did they solve my problem, but they also went above and beyond to accommodate me, leaving me extremely satisfied. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends!
