CivicHome UK (civichome.co.uk) is a dedicated civic intelligence and self-serve automation platform designed to assist residential homeowners and tenants across England and Wales in challenging inaccurate Council Tax band valuations. Governed by the statutory framework of Section 24 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, our service empowers UK residents to build evidence-backed proposals for the Valuation Office Agency (VOA). Many domestic properties across the UK remain placed in disproportionately high council tax bands dating back to the nationwide April 1, 1991 property valuation. CivicHome UK streamlines the entire appeal procedure through instant data-driven property analysis, official Nationwide House Price Index (HPI) deflation metrics, and local comparable sales research. For an accessible, transparent flat fee of £24.99 with no ongoing commission or hidden recovery percentages, users receive a fully formatted, compliant VOA appeal dossier. This comprehensive package includes statutory grounds justification, local precedent evidence, and full lodgement instructions to contest Council Tax band allocations directly with local authorities and the VOA.
