I met Karl the bideford store , my foster child has splints and he was amazing with helping find us the perfect shoe for him

Went in today and a very helpful man helped us sizing and choosing the right 1st pair of shoes for our baby.
Also taught us how to slip them on easy. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back 😊

Absolutely amazing staff can’t rate Karl enough!! Always makes the kids chuckle & what can be stressful with the kiddies becomes a giggle. This store isn’t even our local Clark’s but it’s well worth the extra miles. Thanks 🤩

Went in today as the first pair of pre walking shoes my 10 month old had fitted a couple weeks ago seemed a little big on the heel and were slipping. Katie who served me was very helpful in finding another pair that were more suitable for my daughter’s feet. She went above and beyond and really helped, making our exchange process excellent. Thank you!

Amazing customer service today in Bideford. The gentleman serving us was patient and fun, making the experience of fitting shoes for my 2yr old so much easier. He really did go above and beyond

Carl is always professional and extremely knowledgeable at the same time as gentle and friendly.

Our son said his new shoes were hurting his ankles so he wouldn't wear them.
We called Clarks in Bideford ahead and they said "no trouble, come on down we can sort this for you" we assumed a swap or return.
When we arrived Karl greeted us and I assume he took the call too because he knew what we were there for.
Karl's experience clearly gave him the leg up we didn't have with our son, he was quick to sit our boy down, measure up and ensure the shoe fit perfectly, before explaining to our son why these shoes likely felt different to his trainers.
Karl then proceeded to race our son around the store in the same shoes he could barely walk around the house in only 60 mins earlier!
Karl had smashed it, our Son was happy parading around the rest of the day in his new shoes.
Nice one Karl, I wonder if he could help with dinner...

Always a great experience at our local Clark’s outlet at Affinity Devon. We always look out for Karl, and the staff are always smiling and willing to help us get the children sorted ready for back to school. They are amazing with the children and have loads of patience.
